Chapter 45 Secret Meeting (1)
Wiltshire in England is also a very famous place in the Muggle world - because of the vicious circles of wheat fields and a large number of UFO sightings. In fact, these are all wizards. Drunk wizards often fly low on a broom, waving their wands to flatten the wheat fields, and drawing various geometric patterns. Because of too many times, they will inevitably be witnessed by Muggles. So the Ministry of Magic's reversal incident team had to cast the Muggles' forgetting spell. However, the overwhelming stimulation cannot be eliminated, so the unlucky Muggles would think that they had seen aliens - and were dragged onto the spaceship to perform various terrible experiments.
In a small alley in Swindon district north of Wiltshire, two men suddenly appeared from the void, a few meters apart in the narrow alley reflected by moonlight. They stood motionless for a second, pointing their wands to each other's chest. Then, they recognized each other, stuffed their wands under their cloaks, and walked quickly in the same direction.
"Is there any news?" asked the taller man.
"Yes, and that's good news." Another answered.
On the left side of the alley were low thorn bushes growing randomly, and on the right were neatly trimmed hedges. The two walked in large strolls, slapped their ankles with long cloaks.
"I thought I was late," said the tall man, and the branches hanging above his head kept blocking the moonlight from time to time. His dull facial features seemed to be light and dark. "Things are trivial, but not tricky - depending on your appearance, are you going well?"
The other nodded, and the long scar on his face also twisted a smile.
They turned to the right, left the alley, and entered a wide car lane. The high hedge also turned a corner and extended to the distance. Two extraordinary wrought iron gates blocked the way for them. None of them stopped, but silently raised their left arms like a salute and walked straight through, as if the black wrought iron was nothing but smoke.
The yew hedge made the footsteps of the two of them sound dull. There was a rustling sound somewhere on the right. The tall man pulled out his magic wand and raised it over his companion's head. He found that the sound was a white peacock walking on the top of the hedge.
"This Lucius is always so particular, Peacock..." The tall man snorted and stuffed his wand back under his cloak.
At the end of the straight driveway, a very decent mansion appeared in the darkness, and the diamond-shaped glass on the bottom window shot out shiny lights. In the dark garden behind the hedge, there was a fountain squirting water. The two of them creaked on the gravel road and headed towards the main entrance. As soon as they walked up to the front, no one opened the door, but the door automatically opened inside.
The foyer was very large. It was dimly lit and lavishly arranged, and a luxurious carpet covered almost the entire stone floor. As the two strides by, the pale portraits on the wall followed them with their eyes. The two stopped in front of a heavy wooden door leading to another room, hesitated for a moment, and the tall man turned the bronze handle.
The living room was already full of people, and they were sitting next to a well-decorated long table. The furniture used in the room was pushed randomly to the wall. The gorgeous marble fire was burning with a raging fire. The fire shone on the room, and above the fireplace was a gilded mirror.
"Sit down quickly, my friends, I'm glad to see you again in fifty years." A high and clear young voice came from right in front of the fireplace.
Because of the dim light in the house, the two of them could not see clearly what was inside the house for a while. After adapting to the light in the house, they could see clearly the young man sitting in front of the fireplace.
He has a handsome and slightly pale face, but he is not thin. He has a little baby fat on his face. His short black hair makes him look quite energetic. Although he is not old, he already has the calm charm of a leader.
"I'm really happy. I thought I would no longer have the chance to meet you all here." The young man smiled and clapped his hands, "Let's applaud these fifty years of reunion."
Soon there was a warm applause in the living room.
"Okay, the celebration ends here." The young man withdrew his smile. "Alex, has the things I asked you to do?"
The tall man who had just come in replied, "Yes, master, everything goes well."
The young man frowned. "Master? I don't like this title. Has time changed my aesthetics in the future? Let's call me the Chairman. Everyone here is all classmates."
People in the living room whispered.
"Okay, OK, I know what you want to say." The young man made a helpless expression and stood up. "You don't have to worry about whether I'm testing your loyalty. I don't have that much leisure to do now."
"I know you have many doubts in your mind. Of course I can't answer them one by one, but I can tell you something-yes, I made a Horcrux for myself, when I was still studying at Hogwarts."
The young man held his hand on the table, "Although the Horcrux is quite famous, there are only a handful of wizards who have actually made Horcruxes, and there are very few related records, which are vague. Even I was not sure whether Horcrux could work - or any other side effects. This is just one of some small experiments I did on the Road to Longevity. Of course, it seems that this small experiment has been successful at the moment." The young man waved his hand and continued.
"My soul is divided into multiple pieces. I, the president of the Hogwarts male student union, sealed a part of myself in a Horcrux, and spent fifty years in a daze until half a year ago awakened by one by accident, but I found that the other me, or the future me, the me you have followed, did not really die, but I woke up."
A chill flashed across the young man's eyes: "What does this mean? Two Tom Riddles and two Voldemorts appeared in this world. He was still weak and not strong, and I had not recovered. He needed my soul to strengthen himself, and I also wanted to seize his strength to restore himself. Unfortunately, he and I were the number one wanted criminals in this magical world. It is impossible to move outside openly, so I need some help from you."
He clapped his hands, "Although he and I were once one, we can now be regarded as an enemy that will never stop. Before you come here, you must have figured out who you should help--Lucius should have told you that helping a promising young man is better than helping a wanted monster who is immortal."
"Did you say so? Alex?"
