Chapter 27 Employment

After the Easter holiday, more and more days of breezes were blowing, and the weather was clearer and warmer day by day, but Silver, and other fifth and seventh graders, were trapped in and out of the library, reviewing and tiredly.

No one is willing to pay attention to things that have nothing to do with him - such as gossip rumors about Fudge and Umbridge, ministerial elections, etc.

Silver had to pretend to look anxious because his classmates were already upset and panicked by their homework. He could not mention words such as exams, otherwise half of the people in the dormitory would have gone crazy.

"Jack, I'm talking to you, have you heard it?"

"ah?"

Silver turned his head and looked. He had been sitting alone at the library table just now, and he had not realized that Hermione had sat down next to him. She was holding a thick ancient magic text in her hand.

"Jack, what are you looking at?"

"Oh, hey," Silver said, pulling the book towards him, "I'm going to review the ancient magical texts with you."

"Go to yours." Hermione spat with a red face, and Silver held her hand while holding the book.

"I really think so." Silver took back his hand without blushing. "Where are sisters Pettiers? Are they not with you?"

Hermione shook her head, "They went to Mrs. Pomfrey's place, saying that they were always anxious lately and could not concentrate."

"Where are your little followers?" Hermione asked, "I haven't seen them with you for a long time."

"Oh, Michael and the others." Silver scratched his chin, "They said that the pressure would be greater if they reviewed with me, so they isolated me. In short, it was really a ruthless guy."

"You always look so easeful, and of course they will feel unbalanced." Hermione said, "My ancient magical text has always been weak. I also want to be as easeful as you."

"Is this because I have a special learning technique, do you want some chocolate?" Silver took out a few Easter eggs, unpacked one of them, broke off a large piece and put it in his mouth.

"Chocolate can make people feel happy, and learning obscure magical texts will be twice the result with half the effort.

"Well," Hermione said slowly, and he also ate a small piece of Easter egg.

"What are you doing?" "Oh, damn," Hermione whispered and jumped up, "I forgot-"

It was Mrs. Pins, the library administrator, who was rushing towards them, her wrinkled face was pissed.

"Eat chocolate in the library!" she screamed, "Go out--go out--go out!"

She pulled out her wand suddenly, and Silver saw that the situation was not good, immediately pulled Hermione and escaped.

"You made me break the school rules again, Jack!"

"In Gryffindor's words, the rules are for breaking. Hermione, you are a Gryffindor!"

It was like to emphasize how important their upcoming exams were. As the holiday was about to end, a batch of brochures, leaflets and notifications were sent to each student, and each student had to talk to his dean about his employment intentions.

Although Silver didn't have to worry about not having a job in the future, out of a fun mentality, he spent a lot of time reading employment information that he had asked them to check in detail.

"Well, I don't want to be a therapist," Silver said on the last night of the holiday. He was just reading a leaflet with the badge of St. Mungo Hospital printed on the front, crossed bones and wands.

"This says that you need to at least reach ‘e’ in the n.e.w.ts exam, potions, herbal medicine, metamorphosis, spell science and black magic defense. This requirement is not high. But I heard that the therapist is very low and has to face a more troublesome doctor-patient dispute. My uncle Bins gave the therapist a vicious curse because the therapist failed to cure his eyes."

"Your uncle is really amazing. He can even hit the healer with a curse when he has eye disease?" said Michael Kona.

"Oh, because he had bad eyes, his spell hit another therapist who was treating other patients without any defense."

"What a unfortunate story, what happened to your uncle in the end?"

"He entered Azkaban and hoped he would live a happy life there." Silver shrugged, "I think it's a good place for him."

"The relationship between your uncle and nephew is really touching." Antoning Goldstein sighed.

"Yes, the therapist is a heavy job, isn't it?" Hermione said absent-mindedly. She was reading a pink, orange leaflet with the title: Do you think you'd like to work in Muggle liaison?

"It doesn't seem like a lot of qualifications to contact Muggles! They only require an O.W.ls Muggle Research Certificate: The most important thing is your enthusiasm, patience and a good sense of humor!"

"This is because Muggle Contact has no basic salary. Similar to Muggle salespersons, you have to complete various tasks of the Muggle Contact Office to get the corresponding salary. If you are not lucky, it is normal for you to not earn Jin Jialong in two or three years." Silver said.

"Hey, listen to this," said Michael Kona. "Are you looking for such a challenging job to travel, take risks, find treasures in danger and get a huge bonus? Then consider the job at the Gringott Wizard Bank, which is currently recruiting curse solvers to enjoy exciting opportunities to go abroad!"

"It's great, I think this kind of job is right for me," said Michael Kona.

"IMHO, Michael." Silver said, "The death rate of cursors is very high every year. After all, they have to crack the ancient spells in various ghost places."

"Damn it," Michael threw the flyer on the ground. "I knew these goblins were not in good faith."

"Then what's the use of these employment information?" said Antonin Goldstein. "This one has a problem, that one has a problem."

"There is no perfect job in this world. Antonin, we have to learn to accept this world," Silver said.

“It sounds really hopeless enough…”

"Hey, Jack, we've brought you good news!" The Weasley twin brothers appeared in front of Silver. "You're still looking at employment information?" George said.

Fred threw the employment information sheet aside, "Gentlemen, don't waste time looking at these things, we have important information to announce."
