Chapter 44 Locket

"Young Master, what's the matter with you?" The house elf Klicche appeared in front of the cold, empty fireplace: it was thin and small, only half a person tall, with pale skin hanging down with folds, and a lot of white hair emerged from its bat-like ears. A dirty rag he was wearing.

"My poor hostess, if she knew that the prodigal son had brought a group of outside scum into the room of the boy Regulus? There were werewolfs. Oh, what else could old Clice do?" Clice said to herself.

"Clicche, I'm not asking you to come here to say these things. You have to respect me and my friends." Sirius said.

"Yes, Master." Cliche said hoarsely in his bullfrog voice, bowed softly, and continued to murmur, "Go back to my mistress's old house, in the room of Master Regulus, and take outsiders with no idea what to do here. Do you want to steal something? Cliche doesn't know-"

"Clicche! I have something to ask you." Sirius roared, "I order you to answer truthfully."

"Yes, Master," said Clicche, bowing softly again.

"I ask you, how did Regulus die?"

The elf shivered and staggered.

"I ask you, how did Regulus die? Clice." Sirius roared, "had he handed you something?"

Kliche gasped, his shriveled chest tumbled sharply, and then he opened his eyes and let out a blood-coaguling scream

"Mr. Regulus is dead! Kliche made a mistake, and Kliche failed to execute Master Regulus' orders!" Kliche screamed.

Kliche rushed towards the fire stick standing beside the fire, ready to punish himself.

"Quick and imprison." Silver quickly looked and handed, and used the imprisonment spell to stop Clicher who was preparing to punish him. But Clicher still cried loudly.

"Shut up. Clice." Sirius said.

Kliche lay straight on the cold stone floor, closing his mouth, tears rushing out of his sunken eye sockets.

"Okay, Clice, I order you not to punish yourself." Sirius said, "I want to listen to the truth now, how did Regulus die, what order did he give you in the end?"

Sirius lifted the confinement curse on Cliche.

Kliche sat up, curled up, clamped his wet face between his knees, and began to shake back and forth. When he spoke, his voice seemed low and dull.

"Young Master Sirius escaped, it's better to leave, because he is a bad boy, and his unruly behaviors hurt my mistress. But Mr. Regulus has self-esteem. He knows what the surname Black and his pure bloodline mean. For many years, he often talks about the Dark King. The Dark King wants to prevent the wizard from hiding, but he can come out to rule the descendants of Muggles and Muggles... When Mr. Regulus was sixteen, he joined the Dark King's organization. He was so proud, so proud, so happy, and able to serve..."

"Okay, Clice, say the point, I already know some things." Sirius was a little unhappy. "Tell me how Regules died?"

Kliche looked a little dazed, "Young Master Sirius and the old white-bearded man seemed to be in the same group. I learned something from Kliche's memory."

"The Dark King took Kliche to a cave, and Kliche almost couldn't come back alive. After returning home, Master Regulus was very worried, very worried." Kliche hissed.

"Master Regulus told Clice to hide and not leave the house. Then... After a while... One night, Master Regulus came to the cupboard to find Clice. Master Regulus looked strange, unlike usual. Clice could see that he was very confused... The Master asked Clice to take him to the cave, which was the cave that Clice and the Dark King had been to..."

"Master Regules took out a locket from his pocket, just like the one from the Dark Lord," said Kliche, tears flowing down both sides of his long nose. "He asked Kliche to take it, and after the stone basin was dry, he would replace the locket..."

Kliche's sobs became heavy and harsh.

"He ordered-Cliche left-don't bother him. He told Cliche to go home-don't tell the hostess what he did-but had to destroy-the first locket. Then he drank-drinked the potion-Cli cut off and switched to the locket-watching... Master Regulus... was dragged underwater...and..."

"Then he died." said the little Tianlang. "So, you brought the locket home, have you tried to destroy it?"

"Cliche couldn't leave any trace on it." The elf said sadly, "Cliche tried all the methods, all the methods, but none of them succeeded... There were so many powerful magic on the box, Cliche believed that only from inside could it be destroyed, but it couldn't open... Cliche punished himself, tried again, punished himself, and tried again. Cliche failed to execute the order, Cliche could not destroy the locket! The hostess was so sad that she was crazy because Master Regulus disappeared. Cliche could not tell her what happened, no, because Master Regulus forbidden - forbidden him to tell the family - family about the things in the cave..."

Kliche burst into tears.

"So, Kliche, where is the locket now?" Sirius said.

"You did a great job, Narcisa, I'm very happy with everything you did. It looks so beautiful, doesn't it?" Young Tom Riddle looked at the thing on his right hand. "I'll consider giving your son a supreme reward, which you couple deserve."
