Chapter 86 Showdown (Part 2)

"I thought you shouldn't know much about this. Did you know something from your grandpa? I thought he wouldn't tell you this. After all, his relationship with Richard was so terrible." Dumbledore pretended to be unaware of it.

"My great-grandfather has a bad relationship with most people in the family, just like you, Minister," Silver said with a smile.

Harry felt dizzy. What was Dumbledore and Silver saying? He didn't understand what they said at all...

"Ah, that's why I can feel a little bit of Richard's feeling at the beginning," said Dumbledore. "There are many talented wizards who fell down because of their pretentiousness."

"It's still a little different," Silver said. "At least my great-grandfather, who was troubled by genetic diseases, had no choice. Even though he was a little selfish, he was also to change the fate of his descendants of the family - although my ability to get rid of genetic diseases has nothing to do with my great-grandfather's attempt."

"I heard Harry say that when Horace gave Harry the memory, you were there." Dumbledore suddenly changed the topic, "Do you have anything to add to that memory?"

"No, Minister. That memory is just a private memory for Professor Slughorn. I think my great-grandfather must have locked the memory." Silver said.

"So do you have the key to unlock the lock?" Dumbledore said.

"No, but this has nothing to do with what I want to say." Silver said calmly, "Let me guess what you are thinking, Minister, do you think my great-grandfather is the real murderer behind everything?"

"Jack, I think you misunderstood."

"Misunderstanding?" Silver raised his eyebrows, "But Minister, your abnormal behavior during this period is easy to misunderstand. You rely more and more on the people of the Ministry of Magic rather than members of the Order of the Phoenix. You have become much more distant from us than before."

"I may have changed a little, and power is confusing." Dumbledore showed his tired look, "but I don't doubt my friends."

"I believe so. Minister. Then now the opportunity is here. Riddle is hiding in a corner of Hogwarts. Minister, you are so persistent in that memory. You are simply trying to know the content of the secret method and learn about Riddle's weaknesses from it. But I happen to know this very well. If you think you can, we can now go and die in Hogwarts."

Dumbledore didn't speak, and seemed to be considering the authenticity of Silver's words.

"Well, when, how many people are needed?" Dumbledore stood up, "Does I need to call Auror?"

"Of course - if it was an Auror of Kingsley's level."

"Sorry, husband," said Harry, "I think I should consider it again, fu-"

"Silenceless." Silver used a silent spell on Harry.

"Sorry, Porter," said Silver, "Just calling his name means notifying Riddle that we are coming. If you still want to avenge your parents, then it's better to be more at peace, are you right? Minister?"

Silver said provocatively.

Dumbledore sighed, and there was no joy or anger on his old face.

When the hour hand was pointed to twelve:30, Harry's stomach began to roar. Snape, who had not spoken, finally raised his head.

"Quiet, Potter." He said in disgust. "I don't understand why I should bring you with me. Do you want the Dark Lord to take away one more funeral item before he dies?"

Harry was about to refute, but was stopped by Dumbledore.

"Okay, Severus, according to Jack's information, if you want to destroy the Dark King hiding in Hogwarts more completely, you must bring Harry."

"I am frank, I can't see what's the need for this," Snape said coldly. "How long will we have to wait? I have to remind you that the Dark Lord is better at fighting in the dark than any wizard. Night can enhance his magic power."

"The strongest time is also the weakest time, Professor Snape," said Silver, "but we'd better be careful. In front of such a wizard, any negligence may cost you my life."

"Okay, since time is up, hurry up and start." Professor Slughorn said impatiently, "I have classes tomorrow! I want to take a break soon."

"Then let's start."

Silver unbuttoned his phantom. Suddenly, a scream and a collision came from the corridor. Everyone stopped and listened carefully.

"You—actually—dare—ah—!"

The sound came from a corridor next to it. Everyone rushed over with their wands tightly, and turned a corner. They saw Professor Trelawney lying on the floor, his head covered by one of her many shawls, and several sherry bottles were scattered on one side, one of which was broken.

"Sibil—"

Dumbledore ran forward to help her. Some of her shining beads were wrapped around her glasses. She burped loudly, patted her hair, and stood up with Dumbledore's help.

"What's wrong?"

"You asked well!" she said harshly, "I was walking alone just now, thinking about some ominous signs that I happened to catch... Wait, you are—"

Professor Trelawney only realized that it was Dumbledore who helped her up, and she was obviously drunk.

"Sorry, Dumbledore." Trelawney's eyes suddenly became dodging, "I just drank a little too much today."

Harry saw Silver touching a tapestry of a monster dancing on the wall on the right, while the smooth and hard stone wall on the left.

"What are you doing?"

Silver walked towards the stone wall without saying a word.
