Chapter 2 The Battle Turns In (Part 1)

"What did you say? Let us leave here? Are you crazy? Or do you want to monopolize this house?" Uncle Vernon was furious. "I tell you, it's impossible, never! Don't even think about disturbing us with that damn witchcraft!"

"Are you confused?" Harry asked, "conspiring to occupy this house? Are you really as stupid as you are? Don't forget who gave it to you!"

Uncle Vernon blushed, "It's not yours anyway, so what qualifications do you have to let us leave?"

"Do you think I want to go back to the old house on the damn Liverfolk Road with you? I have no choice!"

"How dare you-!" Aunt Penny screamed, and Vernon waved her to shut up again, as if some insults were nothing compared to the dangers he had seen. "Don't give this kid an excuse to use witchcraft, he can't attack us for no reason."

Uncle Vernon was both telling his wife and warning Harry.

"I will never move back to the Ligue Circle. My career has finally gotten on track. I tell you, don't think of destroying our family's life. If you have to go back, then you can go back alone."

"I'm afraid you forgot," said Harry. "I'm not short of money and I'm not interested in your current house. Do you think I want to go back? For all those pleasant past events?"

Silence. Harry thought these words had shocked his uncle.

"You claim," said Uncle Vernon, and began to pace again, "and another devil-"

“—The other Voldemort,” Harry said impatiently, “we have discussed this a hundred times. It’s not a claim, it’s a fact. Dumbledore told you last year, Kingsley and Mr. Weasley—”

Harry guessed that his uncle wanted to get rid of that memory. At that time, just a few days after Harry had just had a summer vacation, two adult wizards suddenly visited, which brought extremely unpleasant shock to the Dursleys.

"—Kingsley and Mr. Weasley have also explained it." Harry continued unmovedly, "There is a protective spell set by Dumbledore on the road of Livervet. The protective spell left by my mother can only take effect there, but only if I must live with people of blood. Now Dumbledore has encountered an unexpected situation, and the Order of the Phoenix believes that Voldemort will soon attack me."

Uncle Vernon and Harry's eyes met. Then, Uncle Vernon began to pace again.

Harry continued, "We have to go back. Otherwise we will be in danger."

Uncle Vernon didn't say anything and continued to pace.

"Isn't there a Ministry of Magic?"

"Good." Harry was surprised.

"So, why can't they protect us? In my opinion, as innocent victims, we have never done anything bad, and should be protected by the government, except for adopting a suspect!"

"Dumbledore is the Minister of Magic, but he is still dead," Harry replied, "the Ministry of Magic can do very little."

Uncle Vernon walked to the fireplace and returned, panting heavily, and his thick black beard also fluctuated and undulating, and his big face still turned purple-red.

"Okay." He said, stopping in front of Harry again, "Okay. Let's say that, we can go back, but I need your wizards to send people to protect my family. I don't want to encounter any unexpected happenings on the way."

"The Order of the Phoenix will naturally send people..."

"I want that big Kingsley to protect us," Uncle Vernon emphasized, "He seems to me to be one of the few reliable people among the wizards."

Harry endured it hard, but he didn't roll his eyes.

"I told you," Harry said gritting his teeth, "Kingsley is protecting Mah—I mean your Prime Minister."

"That's right - he's the best!" Uncle Vernon said to the blank TV screen. The Dursley family had met Kingsley in the news. He quietly followed behind when the Muggle Prime Minister visited the hospital. With this, the Dursley family could look at Kingsley differently among the wizards.

"He already has a task," Harry said, "—"

"Then we have to check our resume first..." Before Uncle Vernon finished speaking, Harry lost his patience. He stood up, walked to his uncle, and pointed his finger at the TV.

"Do you think the frequent disasters and accidents that happened after Dumbledore's death were accidental? No! Voldemort is taking over this country. As long as he takes time to deal with me, I have no doubt that he will kill you - he doesn't care whether your relationship with me is harmonious. If you have to be escorted by Kingsley, that's fine, but you need to wait, maybe you'll have been before that.

"Okay, OK," "You've made it clear-"

"I hope so," said Harry, "because I am about to become an adult, as long as I become an adult, I will leave you and never meet again, so I hope everyone will have a better life in these few days."

After a moment of silence, the sound of Hagrid breaking a wooden door seemed to have come from afar after so many years. Aunt Penny looked at Uncle Vernon; Dudley glared at Harry. Finally, Uncle Vernon suddenly said, "But what should I do with my job? What should Dudley's school do? Even if we want to leave, we have to pack our luggage and find a moving company, which is very troublesome! I think a group of idle wizards will not care about these things-"

"Don't you understand?" Harry shouted. "Your job and new house are given by Silver. As long as he is fine, you don't have to worry about anything. What more do you have to pack? Just bring your bank card. Silver has sent someone to renovate the old house on Privet Road, enough to satisfy you. He asked me to tell you that you can take paid leave until the devil is killed-"

"Or until we all die at the hands of the devil." Harry roared angrily.

"Dad," said Dudley, frightened, "Dad-I want to go with the people of the Order of the Phoenix. I don't want to die inexplicably at such a young age."

"Dudley," said Harry, "for the first time in your life you have said something clear."

He knew the victory was decided. Since Dudley was so scared that he was willing to accept the help of the Order of the Phoenix, his parents would definitely accompany him: How could they leave their little baby Dada? Harry looked at the travel clock on the mantel.

"They should have arrived."

The doorbell sounded indeed.

"Harry Potter!" As soon as Harry opened the door, an excited voice screamed. A small man wearing a lilac top hat bowed deeply to him. "I am honored!"

"Thank you, Dedaro," Harry said, smiling awkwardly at the dark-haired Hesja, "You guys are so nice... They're here, my aunt, uncle and cousin..."

"Hello, Harry Potter's relatives!" De Daluo said happily as he strode into the living room.

"I believe Harry has told you some of the situation. Our plan is very simple, just like Harry told you," Dedallo said, taking out a huge pocket watch from his vest and looking at it. "Let's go first, Harry goes later. Let's drive out first, let's say that, drive about ten miles, and then move to 4 Ligust Road. I think you can drive, right?"

He asked Uncle Vernon politely.

"Can you drive-? Of course I can drive the car!" Uncle Vernon said anxiously.

"You are so smart, sir, so smart. I was completely confused when I saw so many buttons and knobs." Dedalo said. He obviously thought he was complimenting Desli, and Desli's confidence in the plan was obviously gradually losing with every word Dedalo said.

"I can't even drive the car." He murmured in a low voice, his beard trembling with anger. Fortunately, neither Dedaro nor Hesja seemed to hear it.

"You, Harry," continued Dedallo, "you go somewhere else with others to 4 Livervet Road—"

"What did you say?" Harry said immediately, "Aren't we going together?"

"No," said Hyssica rudely, "things have changed a little, and others will tell you the specific situation."

The Dursleys listened to the conversation with confusion, and suddenly a voice screamed: "Hurry!" They were startled. Harry looked around in the living room, and then he realized that the sound was from De Daro's pocket watch.

"Yes, we're very tight," Dursley nodded at his pocket watch and stuffed it into his vest. "Let's go first."

He said to Aunt Penny's family, "We should leave. We can meet Harry again later anyway, so let's leave it until then."

"I hope I will never see you." Uncle Vernon muttered.

Aunt Penny looked at him with a strange and timid look, as if he was hesitating to speak, but then she suddenly waved her head, rushed out of the door, and chased her husband and son. (To be continued)
