Chapter forty-ninth go
"At most I will take you to the door of the cell where the madman is held," said the old goblin. "Even the deaf goblin can't stand the madman's chatter."
"That's enough," Silver said. "You just have to bring us there."
They hurried toward a door in the hall. They walked through the door and entered the rough stone corridor, which was illuminated by burning torches. When the door behind them closed heavily, Silver felt Hermione breathed a sigh of relief. Silver thought for a while, but still didn't tell her the words "actually the challenge has just begun."
The goblin whistled, and a small cart rolled along the track from the darkness. They climbed into the small cart.
The cart started suddenly, and the speed became faster and faster. The cart began to turn around along the maze-like corridor and rushed down. The sound of the cart made them unable to hear anything. They kept turning sharply among the stalactites and galloping towards the depths of the earth.
They went down to a depth they had never been before, and quickly turned a sharp turn, and saw a waterfall in front rushing onto the track.
Silver reacted very quickly. He pointed his wand at the cart and whispered a spell. The cart that was moving rapidly stopped slowly.
The old fairy looked at Silver in confusion, "What are you doing? Are you going to get off here? Is this still a distance from that place."
Silver pointed to the waterfall, "We have many valuable magical items on us, and we were rushed by the anti-thief waterfall that can wash away all the spells. Could this loss be compensated by Guling Pavilion?"
The old fairy smiled and said, "Of course, this is not a compensation."
"So I have to stop," said Silver. "Can you turn this off?"
"This is the latest resolution at the Fairy Conference. The waterfall of the thief is open 24 hours a day." The old fairy looked at Silver carefully.
"Hmph, don't think I don't know who you are guarding against." Silver said unhappy, "Forget it, I don't have time to argue with you now."
The old fairy lowered her head and rubbed her hands, as if she was a little embarrassed.
So he couldn't see Silver's wand pointing at him - being short is a tragedy.
"The soul is out of body!"
The sound echoed in the stone corridor, and the old fairy raised her head, and her expression turned into a polite indifference.
"Oh, I don't know what your name is yet," Silver said.
"My name is Bogrod." The old goblin said in an emotional tone.
"So, Bogrod, I need you to wait for us to come out here, and, please cut off the alarm for the anti-thief waterfall and tell other fairies that we are going very well here, do you understand?" Silver emphasized.
"Get it." Bogrod replied in the same tone.
"Give me the key."
Bogrod took out a small leather bag in a daze and handed it to Silver,
"Jack, are you sure this is OK?" Hermione crawled out of the cart with Silver's help.
"No problem, it's just an old and weak ordinary fairy. My soul-catching curse can control him for a long time." Silver said.
"I don't mean that, Jack," said Hermione, who had been pulled by Silver toward the Falls. "Can we really convince that crazy goblin Spencer?"
"Of course, Hermione, you must know that the relationship between fairies and wizards has always been not very friendly. If the power of the wizarding world is integrated, the first unlucky one will be the fairy." Silver said.
They ran and rushed through the waterfall, and the water filled their eyes and mouths, for a moment. They couldn't open their eyes, nor could they breathe. Then they rushed over.
"Ahem." Hermione choked by the water, and Silver patted her on the back. Now she was no longer Bellatrix. It was Hermione who stood there, wearing an oversized robe and was soaked all over. Silver himself became what she was like, because Hermione was touching his cheek.
"You are so much more pleasing to you than just now." Hermione said.
Silver couldn't help rolling his eyes, "So too, Hermione."
"Where should we go next?" Hermione asked, "Mad Spencer should be locked in the deepest part of the Gringott."
"Yes, in the deepest part of the Gringott, where even the Dark King cannot reach, only the fairies can guide others to get there." Silver said, "Follow me closely, the interior of the Gringott is full of dangers.
They turned a corner and found the dangers mentioned by Silver.
A huge fire dragon was tied to the ground in front to prevent people from approaching the four or five deepest vaults there. Because they were locked in the ground for too long, the scales on the dragon's body had become pale and loose. Its eyes were turbid pink, and its hind legs were heavy shackles. The thick chains on it were connected to the giant stakes that were deeply penetrated into the stone. Its spikes were gathered on both sides of its body, and if it was expanded, it would fill the entire basement. The dragon turned its ugly head towards them, let out a huge roar that made the stone tremble, and opened its mouth and sprayed a fire, forcing them to run back along the aisle.
"Damn it, it's really a fire dragon." Silver touched his burned hair with a little shame.
"Are you okay, Jack." Hermione took out some bottles and jars from her bag. "I have scald medicine here."
"Thank you, Hermione, but I'm fine, I'm just burned some hair." Silver pinched the small bag that Bogrod handed him.
"I'm trying to kill this damn dragon."
"Jack! It's innocent."
"He almost killed you and me."
"But it is bound here by the goblins. Look, its eyes seem to be blind."
"Okay." Silver gave up the idea of killing the fire dragon in disappointment. In such a small space, it would be a big risk to kill a dangerous old fire dragon.
"The fairies have a way to control it." Silver took out some small metal utensils from his bag, and when he shook it, he made a loud and crisp sound, like a small hammer hitting an anvil.
"The fire dragon has already formed a conditioned reflex to this sound, and will avoid it when it hears it." Silver said to Hermione.
"How did you know this?"
"Because the Silver family once held shares in Gringott~"
They shook Dingdangpian and turned around the corner again, the noise echoed between the stone walls, amplified many times, making their brains seem to be vibrating. The dragon let out a hoarse roar and retreated. They could see it trembling, and as they moved closer, they saw terrifying scars on its face, which were obviously the masterpieces of the goblins.
"Follow me, Hermione." Silver ran quickly, "That place is not far from this!" (To be continued, please search for Piaotianwen, novels are better, updated and faster!
