Chapter 31 The Battle of the Shack (Part 2)
"Lupin, long time no see, it seems that we have not been doing well in the past ten years." Black grinned, revealing his waxy teeth. "You're wearing something worse than when you were in school."
"Yes, yes, we were not doing well after James left." Lupin spoke in a weird voice, with some kind of suppressing emotions: "Where is he, Sirius?"
"He was trembling in the boy's robe, this abominable mouse." Black's tone revealed disdain and extreme disgust. "He did not forget the transformation we taught him."
"Professor Lupin," Harry interrupted their conversation loudly, "What's going on..."
But he could never finish asking the question, because the sight he saw made his throat sound no longer. Lupin put down his wand, walked to Black, grabbed his hand, and pulled him up, and Crook Hill fell to the floor, and Lupin hugged Black as if two brothers.
Harry felt his stomach turn upside down. His heart was beating desperately with rage.
"I trust you," he shouted at Lupin, his voice trembling out of control, "and you have always been his friend!"
"You are wrong," Lupin said. "For twelve years, I'm not a friend of Black, but I'm now, please let me explain."
"No!" Harry screamed. "You traitor! You must have put Black into school and wanted my life! Black betrayed my parents thirteen years ago. Now you betrayed me just like Black betrayed my parents!"
"Oh, Harry, why do you think so? I can swear, I have never helped Black into Hogwarts." Lupin shook his head, looking very painful.
"I haven't been helping Sirius all the time," Lupin said. "If you give me a chance, I'll explain it. Look--"
"I'm sorry, Professor Lupin, I have to interrupt." Silver slowly drew strange characters in the air with his wand. "I think it's more convincing to teach you, Professor, to talk about logic with the excited Savior, is a waste of time."
"Silver, you!"
"Silent." Silver's wand pointed at Harry, and Harry's voice disappeared immediately. Harry was sarcastic in vain and screaming, but he could not make even a sound from his throat.
"Sorry, Potter," Silver said lazily. "I personally think your anger is useless, but may add some trouble to others. So I use the silent spell to help you keep your mind calm."
"Silver, you shouldn't treat Harry like this," Ron said. "Blake is a notorious murderer and a Death Eater!"
"Oh, it seems like that," Silver said. "But a notorious murderer who entered Hogwarts many times and did not kill a student, I think it's abnormal. Because if he wanted your life and Potter, from his record of entering and leaving Hogwarts many times, he could kill you five or six times."
"So I think it's okay to listen to the explanations of Black and Professor Lupin. Besides, even if the situation is not good, I can send out magic signals quickly. The Aurors stationed between Hogwarts and Hogsmeade will quickly arrive here. Do you think so? Ron?"
"Yes, we really have to hurry up." Black nodded at Lupin.
Lupin looked at Ron with his eyes. "Do you think I can look at your mouse?"
"What?" Ron said, "What does Banban have to do with this?"
"There are all kinds of relationships," Lupin said, "Can I look at the rat?"
Ron hesitated, then reached into his robe. The spots appeared, and it struggled violently in despair. Ron had to grab the long, bald tail in case it escaped. Crook Hill stood up and shouted softly.
Lupin walked closer to Ron. He looked at Spots intently, as if he had held his breath.
"What?" Ron said again, holding the spots to make it closer to him, looking scared. "What can my rat have to do with?"
"This is not a mouse," Black said suddenly in a hoarse voice.
"What do you mean? Of course it's a mouse-"
"No, it's not," Luping said calmly, "he's a witch."
"It's an Animagus," said Black, "the name is Petr."
Harry's mouth began to snatch quickly again, his expression was angry and helpless - he was hit by Silver's bondage and silent spell, unable to move or speak.
"Peter Pet?" Ron opened his mouth wide. "Peter Petr was killed by Black thirteen years ago! How could it be related to Banban?"
"It's very simple to prove this kind of thing," Lupin said. "Whether you believe it or not, you'll see what you'll know in a while."
Lupin took the spots from Ron's hand. He looked at Harry, who was still full of resentment and struggle, and sighed. "Harry, except for your eyes like Lily, the rest are like your father."
"We will force him to look, and if Spotted is not Animagus, it will not cause any harm to him, Ron, I promise you."
Black picked up Ron's wand. He approached Lupin and the struggling rat, his wet eyes suddenly burned on his face.
"Together?" he asked calmly.
"I think so," Lupin said, holding the Spots in one hand and the wand in the other, "count to three. One-two-three!"
Both wands emitted blue and white light. For a moment, the spots were hanging in the air, and its small black body twisted wildly - Ron screamed - the rat fell down and fell on the floor. Another dazzling flash, and then - it was like a quick shot of observing the growth of trees. A head appeared on the ground, and then the limbs were stretched out. After a while, a man stood where the spots were just now, cringing and twisting his hands. Crook Hill roared contemptuously on the bed, and the hair on his back stood up.
This man was very short, not much taller than Harry. His thin, light-colored hair was messy and his head was bald. His appearance seemed like an obese man had lost a lot of weight in a short period of time. His skin looked very dirty, almost the same as his fur. His pointed nose and watery little eyes also had the characteristics of rats. He looked at everyone, breathing rapidly and weakly. His eyes rolled towards the door and quickly retracted them.
"Oh oh oh, it seems like it will be a pleasant old friend's meeting." Silver patted his palm gently. "Now, Potter, you can move freely."
With Silver's wand swung, Harry fell to the ground as if he had lost all his strength, and he gasped. Ron tried hard to squeeze over and hold Harry.
"Oh, hello, Peter." Lupin said happily, as if there were often incidents around him that rats became old classmates, "Long time no see."
"Little Sirius, Lu Lupin." The voice of the little dwarf Peter was also sharp. His eyes quickly looked over the door. "My friends - my old friends -"
Black raised his wand's arm, but Lupin grabbed his wrist and glanced at him warningly. Then Lupin turned to Petrite again, Lupin spoke with both relaxed and casual voice.
"Since you have appeared, we may be able to talk about some old things from thirteen years ago, such as why Lily and James' residence was discovered by Voldemort, and why you have been resurrected from the dead and lived in a magical family for thirteen years in the form of a mouse?" Lupin's tone was still so relaxed and casual, but to Petr, it sounded more cold and bitter than the cold wind in Siberia.
