Chapter 4 The Outcast

(Everyone, let’s fight me, this will be a brand new story, similarity and other feelings are all hallucinations)

This is an inconspicuous island on the great voyage called Asca.

The people on the island are simple, kind, hardworking, and should have a relatively prosperous and peaceful life.

But in fact, this was not the case. Because of an unprecedented rumor, the pirates patronizing the island almost continued, which also brought serious disasters to the people on the island.

The houses on the island are connected in a circle, which is to resist changes made by pirates who may attack at any time. However, if you look at the sky above the island from a bird's eye view, you can find a tree house located alone in the forest, which is incompatible with the overall atmosphere on the island.

At this time, several thin figures appeared under the big tree, pushing and rushing over, as if no one wanted to get close. Finally, an older child mustered up the courage to shout at the tree house:

"Alan, the High Priest is looking for you!"

The sound of walking came from the quiet forest. A handsome little boy poked his head out of the tree house. In an instant, the naughty child under the house dispersed like birds and beasts, leaving only panic and horrifying voices wandering in the forest.

"Run quickly! The monster is coming out!"

"He saw me, it's over. He must have known about my stealing of animal meat!"

"You guy, it's too much to steal beast meat... I don't call me such a thing!"

Alan's little face was very calm, as if he had long been used to other people's fear and repulsion, but he would just say to the tree house: "Brother is going out, you should be good at home alone!"

A little girl in the room poked her head out and said sweetly: "Brother, Demi won't run around, Demi is the most obedient!"

Allen felt relieved, closed the doors and windows, and jumped down from the tree house that was nearly ten meters high.

Not long after, Allen had already arrived at the temple in the village. The high priest with a cane appeared at the right time, looking old and with a long hair.

"Alan, I'm here to find you this time because I have something to do with life and death among the clans, please help me." The high priest said with shame.

"High Priest, don't say that. Just tell me if you have anything to do." Alan's small face was full of serious expressions.

A trace of hesitation flashed in the high priest's eyes, but soon remembered something and his eyes became firmer again.

"This matter starts thousands of years ago, Alan, do you know that legend, the legend about the cursed holy sword."

"I know, I heard that those pirates kept coming to the island because of this illusory legend." Although I don't know why the high priest mentioned this, Allen still answered very seriously.

"Is it illusory? That's not just a rumor, but it's true!"

"This...how is this possible?" Allen's small face was filled with shock.

"It is said that a red full moon came to the world thousands of years ago on our Asca Island. The ancestors believed that the red moon, which represents blood and evil, would cause disaster and misfortune, so the red moon is also called the ominous moon!"

"So, in order to protect people from the invasion of disasters and changes, the gods of Aska gave King Aska three precious jades as shields and a seven-star sword as spear."

"It's a pity that over the long years, the Seven-Star Sword has gradually become contaminated with darkness and ominousness, and has become a cursed holy sword. The mission of our clan is to protect and suppress, prevent the Seven-Star Sword from being used by those ill-behaved people from outside, and at the same time, it is also to prevent the Seven-Star Sword from invading the world."

Alan was unaware of this and was waiting for the high priest's explanation.

"Every hundred years when the red moon arrives, the power of the seal is the weakest. It needs to be sealed again with the bloodline of the witches and three precious jades. However, the next generation of witches has not yet grown up, and I am already old. No one in the clan can complete the seal. Once the Seven-Star Sword is born, this sea will be shrouded in darkness!"

"So, you mean..." Allen's tone was low, as if he had guessed the meaning of the high priest.

"Only by offering the most perfect sacrifice to God can we calm the wrath of the gods and strengthen the seal of the Seven-Star Sword again, and your talent... can almost be said to be the Son of God!"

Allen was kind, so kind that he was willing to give up his life for the sake of the villagers who rejected and feared him, but he could not die. If he died, who would take care of his young sister?

Due to the invasion of pirates, life on the island has always been difficult, and no one would be willing to put an extra burden on his mouth. It is precisely because of this that the precocious Allen revealed his value only to get food for his sister from the village.

As if seeing Allen's hesitation, the old voice of the high priest came out: "You don't have to worry about Demi's affairs. As compensation, I have contacted a great noble couple without descendants. They are happy to adopt Demi. After you leave, Demi will live better than everyone."

This sentence undoubtedly touched Allen's heartstrings. Although he didn't mind the strange eyes of others, he would never want Demi to have the same experience. He hoped that Demi could live a dreamy life of eating well and sleeping warmly every day.

"High Priest, I promise you!"

"Good boy, it's just a pain for you!"

...

The high priest's promise was soon fulfilled. Although Demi's heart-wrenching cry made Allen stop his pace for a while, he finally made up his mind to leave without looking back. Demi is still young. As long as she spends a few years, she may be able to forget his incompetent brother and live the life that everyone dreams of!

...

The scarlet moonlight was about to cover the earth. Alan followed the high priest's footsteps into the temple. Everything around him exuded a vicissitudes of life, as if he had walked out of ancient time and space.

There is a simple stone coffin on the bottom of the temple. The ground is a hexagram array outlined with blood. Alan stood in the center of the hexagram array. After the high priest told Alan not to run around, he fled like a desperate situation.

Although the surrounding environment was bloody and weird, Allen was not afraid, but looked around curiously.

Suddenly, a light sound rang out in the dead dark room, as if the cicadas in the forest were singing happily. A little black mist penetrated into the body from the pores of the skin, and a very bewitching voice rang out in Ed's heart.

"Go... open the sarcophagus, pick up the divine sword, and you will have supreme power!"

Seeing that Allen was unmoved, the black fog continued to increase its bargaining chips.

"...Power, wealth, reputation... As long as you pick up that sword, everything will follow!"

However, Allen just murmured in a low voice: "Is this the test of the gods? It doesn't seem difficult?"

The trembling sword body of the Seven-Star Sword stopped. It did not have complete consciousness, but had a weak spiritual awareness like most demon swords. Of course, its spiritual awareness is definitely not comparable to that of the three generations of Gui Che.
