Chapter 84

The wedding venue is located in the garden behind the hotel, which has unique scenery in Southeast Asia. It is backed by the blue sea and space. Under the tall and straight shrubs is a piece of tender green grass. Dozens of crystal bamboo chairs are tied with veils and balloons. The cool sea breeze is mixed with romance and sweetness.

The guests arrived as scheduled, Yan Meng went to the lounge to make up and change his makeup, and Chi Chen brought his best man to welcome the guests at the entrance.

Chi Chen has been in the entertainment industry since childhood, with many friends in the circle, and his familiar artists, directors and producers are all very proud of their face. In order to attend their wedding, he specially flew from all over China.

At this moment, Chi Chen, who had always looked indifferent, was filled with a happy and happy smile on his face.

Zhang Yun did not appear at the hotel door until the welcome was about to end.

She wore a unique long skirt, and the large sunglasses on the bridge of her nose covered most of her face, but Chi Chen recognized her from afar.

A hard part of his heart suddenly softened. Last night, he had prepared mentally that he would not have a family member to attend. Today, Zhang Yun could appear, and he couldn't tell whether he was more happy or more relieved.

Zhang Yun stood in front of Chi Chen, took off his sunglasses gracefully, raised his red lips and smiled: "Son, happy wedding."

Chi Chen also smiled: "I thought you wouldn't come, mom."

Zhang Yun put his sunglasses into his handbag, took a golden signing pen, and signed his name on the guest list.

"Why didn't you come? My son's wedding is one of the most important moments in life. Could it be that I can't bear to pay for two air tickets?"

I was so silly but I didn't say anything.

Zhang Yun looked at the wedding scene behind Chi Chen. There were so many guests, and the seats were about to be filled. She asked, "How long will the wedding start?"

"More than ten minutes."

She looked at the time and patted Chi Chen's shoulder: "Don't mind if I go to see your bride."

Chi Chen raised his eyebrows: "Of course."

Zhang Yun was taken to the bride's lounge by a waiter. The lounge was full of people. There were three or four stylists surrounding the bride in front of the dressing table, and there were a few young women dressed in bridesmaids on the sofa, making up for each other.

She stopped the waiter from knocking on the door and asked him to do something else first. She leaned silently by the door and watched the people in the room laughing. The corners of her mouth were raised and sighed that it was really beautiful to be young.

It was not until Yan Meng's makeup was almost done and the makeup artist covered her with a veil, that everyone noticed that there was a woman standing at the door.

Yan Meng saw Zhang Yun in the mirror, turned around and smiled happily. She tentatively and timidly called her: "Mom?"

Zhang Yun looked at her, stood up and walked in, smiled and said "um" with a clear voice, enough for everyone in the room to hear it.

Yan Meng felt relieved, and stood up with a heavy gauze skirt, trying to move a chair for Zhang Yun, but she stopped him.

"No, I'll come in and talk to you, and the wedding will begin. It's inconvenient for you to wear a wedding dress, so don't be busy with this and that."

Yan Meng said well-behavedly.

The bridesmaid group behind him, Chu Han and Xu Yuan stared at Zhang Yun with their eyes squinting for a long time, and finally recognized her. Chu Han burst into screaming: "Oh my God! You are... you are... goddess!"

Zhang Yun turned his head and greeted them: "Hello, I am Chi Chen's mother, Zhang Yun."

"Yes, yes, that's the name!" Chu Han was already incoherent: "We grew up watching your videos, and my dad even said that you are his dream lover!"

Zhang Yun: "Is that so? Then say hello to your father on my behalf and thank him for his love."

"Thank you~" Chu Han couldn't contain his excitement and plucked up the courage: "Can I ask you for an autograph?"

Zhang Yun nodded: "Okay, where to sign?"

Where to sign? Where to sign? Where to sign!!

Chu Han touched his whole body and found only one mobile phone, and there was no pen to sign in the dressing room. Her eyes were quickly searching in the room, and a flash of inspiration snatched the eyeliner from Qi Wan's hand.

Qi Wan's back of her hand was drawn with a long streamlined line by the eyeliner that suddenly pulled out. She cursed Chu Han softly: "I'm so thin, can I be gentle!"

Chu Han ignored her and handed the eyeliner and his phone to Zhang Yun with a smile: "Just sign it on my phone case, it won't be easy to rub off the eyeliner."

Zhang Yun took it, signed his name smoothly, and looked at it for a moment: "I haven't practiced autographs for many years, and my handwriting is not as good as before."

Chu Han took the phone and looked at the two big words of Long Feifengwu and was happy: "No, no, they all look good." She carefully blew the ink marks, for fear of rubbing off the signature, so she thought about applying a layer of transparent nail polish for a while.

After signing the autograph, Zhang Yun asked: "Can I say a few words to my daughter-in-law alone?"

Chu Han immediately understood what she meant, turned around and pulled Qi Wan and the others out of the room: "Xiaowan, I seemed to have seen Yu Xiao in front of me just now, I'll accompany you out for a look."

Qi Wan was dragged out by her: "Impossible, he told me that he couldn't come with a job."

Xu Yuan echoed: "It's really true, I seemed to have seen it just now."

The makeup artist also evacuated after completing his mission, leaving only Zhang Yun and Yan Meng in the room.

Zhang Yun glanced out the window, leaned against the dressing table and said, "This place is really good, who can book it?"

"It was Chi Chen's order. He handled the wedding matters, so I didn't help me." Yan Meng replied embarrassedly.

Zhang Yun looked at her expensive wedding dress and raised the corner of her mouth: "He has a good attitude and really cares about you."

Yan Meng pursed her lips and smiled slightly. Who said that was not? She only saw the wedding scene not long ago. It was a dreamy and romance, which was the wedding she wanted in her dream. Chi Chen helped her realize it.

He understands her and loves her.

Zhang Yun lowered his eyebrows and thought for a while, took out a platinum bracelet from his bag. She grabbed Yan Meng's wrist and gently put it on for her.

"This is a gift from Chi Feng when he proposed to me. In a flash, so many years have passed. I found out from the box when I knew I was coming to your wedding two days ago. Now, I will give it to you."

Yan Meng looked down at the bracelet. It was not a trendy style, but it was properly preserved, with diamonds shining and platinum not discolored due to oxidation.

She looked up in confusion and asked, "Send me?"

Zhang Yun smiled and glanced at the chain on her hand coldly: "It's not a good thing, don't dislike it. His father said that its meaning is 'love until we grow old'. You know, my marriage with him is very failed, and it's really ironic to use it on us, so I think it's suitable for you. Whether you carry it or put it away, just treat something that can remind you all the time. Don't love each other like me and his father. It's not easy to meet someone who wishes you to accompany you in your life."

Yan Meng understood her intentions and rubbed her fingertips on her bracelet: "Okay, we will remember."

Zhang Yun's smile gradually became bitter. In just a moment, he put away the strange color on his face and continued: "For Chi Chen, I am also a failed mother. Fortunately, he now has you and his own home, and he is no longer a lonely person. Yan Meng, be kind to him, and take good care of him with my part."

...

The wedding was about to begin, and the planner came in to remind her several times. Yan Meng walked out of the dressing room accompanied by the bridesmaid. At the corner, Yan's father stood there in a straight suit waiting for her.

Yan's father's eyes were a little rosy. He finally calmed down his emotions, but he was even more reluctant to leave because he saw his daughter wearing a wedding dress with his own eyes.

He looked at Yan Meng, smiled, and there was too much love in his eyes that he could not express.

Yan Meng walked over, gently held his arm, and smiled and called out, "Dad."

Dad Yan nodded in response.

Love is hard to speak in his heart. He is not a good person who speaks. He always speaks less and does more. Even if he has thousands of words in his heart and wants to say to his daughter, he just pats the back of her hand: "Let's go, Chi Chen is waiting."

"Okay." Yan Meng agreed with a sob.

There is still a long way to go to the scene. Yan Meng wore high heels and walked very slowly when she was too long in the wedding dress.

Yan's father was with her, wishing that the road would be longer. He could walk with his daughter for a longer time. When the wedding scene arrived, he would hand over his daughter's hand to another man.

No matter how long the road is, you always have to let go. When you arrive at the scene, the wedding ceremony will officially begin.

Amid the applause and cheers, the emcee invited the groom and the bride to come out.

Yan Meng appeared with her father in her arms and looked at Chi Chen holding a bouquet on the stage. She was her idol, her lover, a man she admired since she was a child and gave her whole youth.

He stood there, his whole body emitting a dazzling light. She remembered the joy of seeing him for the first time, the fireworks they watched together on New Year's Eve, and the fact that he hugged her in the small space in the car and said, "I like you."

Everything they experienced together appeared in front of their eyes, and his goodness and pampering all belonged to her from now on.

The two of them looked at each other, and a trace of surprise flashed in Chi Chen's eyes, and a gentle smile appeared on the corner of his mouth.

He took a step forward, walked up to her with responsibility and promise, and knelt on one knee: "Meng Meng, marry me."

Yan Meng took the bouquet from his hand: "Okay."

Yan's father handed his daughter's hand to Chi Chen's hand, patted the back of their hands, and said hoarsely: "I've handed over my daughter to you, you can live a good life. We must tolerate each other, understand each other, and support each other."

He nodded firmly: "Dad, believe me, I will treat Mengmeng well."

The bridesmaid group sprinkled petals in front of them, Chi Chen held Yan Meng's hand and walked towards the stage amid the guests' blessings.

They exchanged love vows on stage.

"I am willing to marry Yan Meng as my wife, whether in difficulties or adversity, poverty or wealth, health or illness, love her, cherish her, cherish her, give her shoulders, be her safe haven, be loyal to her for the rest of her life until death."

"I Yan Meng, I wish to marry Chi Chen as my wife, whether in difficulties or adversity, poverty or wealth, health or illness, accompany him, take care of her, understand him, tolerate him, and be loyal to him for the rest of his life until death."

Emcee: "Now, the groom can kiss your bride."

The guests sitting cheered, Chi Chen smiled, lifted Yan Meng's veil, held her little face, and kissed her deeply.

...

During the robe-giving session, the unmarried men and women on the scene rushed to the stage. Ding Zan pushed the crowd away and stood in the most favorable position in the first row. He flew to Chi Chen and raised his eyebrows to show that he received it.

Chi Chen held Yan Meng forward a few steps so as to leave enough space for them.

He hugged Yan Meng's waist and whispered in her ear: "Take it to Ding Zan as much as possible, he needs your bouquet."

Yan Meng turned around and looked at Ding Zan and asked, "Have he got something big to do?"

Chi Chen smiled faintly: "Yes."

The emcee counted down three times, and Yan Meng turned his back to the army of bouquets to pass on his happiness.

The bouquet drew a beautiful parabola in the air. Ding Zan looked at the target and jumped. Seeing that the bouquet was within reach, he only picked a leaf.

The bouquet escaped from him and fell into Qi Wan's hands by chance.

Qi Wan originally didn't plan to grab the bouquet, but because she was a bridesmaid, she was pulled up to join in the fun. There were too many people snatching the bouquet, so she was squeezed around, and almost twisted her feet in high heels, so she simply stood in the last row.

The bouquet flew towards the large army, and she didn't even have the desire to reach out to grab it. Unexpectedly, Ding Zan failed to intercept the bouquet and fell into her hands.

She was a little confused. She looked at the things in her hand and didn't know what was going on. There was already a burst of applause from the audience. She raised her eyes and faced Yu Xiao in the first row. The latter held her hands in her chest, staring straight at her with her lips curled up, and she seemed to be smiling.

Qi Wan avoided his gaze and ran into Ding Zan's fierce look. He wanted to eat her and threw out the broken leaf in his hand.

She was inexplicably surprised if she didn't accomplish anything.
