Chapter 8
"What's wrong?"
Mu Chen saw that he was like a little squirrel, eating pastries with his cheeks bulging, while holding a pair of black eyes and peeking at him from time to time, he couldn't help but feel funny.
"Are you so good to strangers?" Chu Qiantang asked curiously.
Mu Chen played with the teacup in his hand, looked at the curious little boy in front of him, and laughed softly: "It varies from person to person. After all, not everyone is as interesting as you."
He was in a high position and was used to seeing all kinds of people, but none of them felt comfortable and relaxed like this little boy.
Chu Qiantang listened and stopped talking. Instead, after tasting all three pastries, drinking two cups of tea, touching her round belly, she burped and stood up.
"Young Master, I'm full, I'm going back."
"You haven't told me yet, what's your name?" Mu Chen looked at him, with a faint smile on his handsome face.
She walked out, waved her hand, and said without looking back: "Chu Qiantang, my name is Chu Qiantang."
After returning from the courtyard, Chu Qiantang saw the door open and shouted: "Mom, I'm back!"
"It just happened to be back. The little master in the temple brought vegetarian food. Let's eat it while it's hot!" Yun Niang set up chopsticks for her and signaled her to sit down.
"Mom, someone just invited me to pastries and drank two cups of tea. Now my stomach is full!" She said, touching her round belly.
Yun Niang glanced at it and shook her head helplessly: "You, you can't eat too much, look at your stomach full."
Seeing that her mother seemed to be feeling better, she smiled and held her arm and asked, "Mom, where did you go today?"
"After a while, I went to listen to the Zen master's lecture on Zen, and my mood became much calmer." She patted her hands and said softly: "It's my mother who made you worry."
"As long as my mother is in a good mood, it's good." She held her waist instead and rubbed it in her arms.
Yun Niang saw that her heart was soft and she said helplessly: "You child is so old, still like this." But she felt relieved. Fortunately, she had such a well-behaved and sensible child.
The next day, after vegetarian food, Chu Qiantang went to the door and came outside the courtyard to explore his head. He saw the elegant and dusty young man in white reading a book in the courtyard. He thought that he would go back first, so he was called.
"The little boy is here." Qing Mo called him with a smile.
Mu Chen, who heard the sound, raised his phoenix eyes and said to Chu Qiantang: "Since Tang'er is here, why don't he come in?"
Chu Qiantang twitched: What the hell is Tang'er?
She walked in and said, "I saw the young master reading a book, wondering if it would disturb you?"
"Don't disturb." Mu Chen put the book aside, signaled him to sit down, and ordered: "Mo Yi, bring some pastries for Tang'er."
"No, no, no," Chu Qiantang waved his hand and said, "I just got full and couldn't eat it." Those who didn't know thought she was here to eat for free!
Upon hearing this, Mu Chen glanced at him, his lazy voice with a hint of gentleness, and he smiled and said, "Tang'er and I don't have to be separated."
Chu Qiantang pulled the corner of his mouth and said with a slight smile: "I don't even know what you call!"
