sideshow(2/2)

He Hanzhu laughed, slapped his son's little head with his palm, and picked up the villain from the side of the table.

"Okay, Dad, remember, your mother is the first, you are the second. It's getting late. If you are not sad, Dad will send you to bed."

He Mingen curled up obediently in his father's arms. When he hugged himself to the bedroom door, his two little arms suddenly wrapped around his neck, put his mouth in his father's ear, and said softly: "Aunt Hong told me that if my mother comes back, you will be in the room together and ask me to go to bed earlier and don't disturb you. Mom hasn't come back yet. Can I sleep with your mother and mother's bed tonight? Do you sleep with your father?"

He Hanzhu turned his face and saw his son's eyes widening his eyes that were very similar to hers. He looked at him without blinking, and infinite love slowly surged from his chest.

This is his and her children, their common flesh and blood. He really regrets why he was so careless before. In fact, she has reminded him more than once that his son is sensitive and introverted, so he should not treat his son too harshly. But he always disagrees with it, thinking that boys should receive strict education from an early age to cultivate their strong will.

Just tonight, he felt like he was suddenly enlightened.

His son is already excellent enough that he doesn't need his father to put pressure on him anymore.

"Of course." He nodded.

He Mingen was so happy. This was the happiest moment he had in the past six months since his mother left him. He hugged his father's neck tightly, until he lay on the bed, and then he spread his hands and closed his eyes obediently.

He Hanzhu covered his son with a quilt, lay down himself, and then turned off the lights. After a while, he felt that the villain beside him was not asleep, so he closed his eyes and asked, "What's wrong? Isn't you sleeping yet?"

"Dad, can I ask you a question?"

"Um."

"Why did you and your mother get married and give birth to me?"

In the night, my son's tender voice came to my ears.

He Hanzhu opened his eyes, reached out and turned on the bedside lamp. Seeing his son opening his eyes, he looked at himself, and smiled and said, "Because my father likes your mother very much, he married her and gave birth to you."

He Mingen was a curious baby tonight, and he said more than he said in front of He Hanzhu this year.

He climbed up from the pillow and lay beside his father and asked, "Then why do you like her very much? How did you and your mother meet each other?"

He Hanzhu raised his eyebrows, "Little head! There are so many problems!"

He disliked his son, but he was quite proud in his heart. After thinking for a while, he lifted the quilt, rolled up his trouser legs, pointed to the scar on one side of his thigh and said, "Your mother is my savior. She and I first met on the boat. She saved your father. This is the mark."

This was the first time that He Mingen heard about such a thing, and couldn't help but exclaim in surprise.

He Hanzhu briefly said the old story of that year and finally said, "Your mother has saved your father's life. It is hard to find a second person as outstanding as your father. You said, if your father doesn't marry her and doesn't repay his kindness with his body, is there any reason for this?"

"No! Dad, you should marry your mother!"

He Mingen giggled and cooperated with his arrogant father to roll happily in the quilt. He Hanzhu laughed with his son, smiled for a while, looked at the time, and urged his son to go to bed quickly.

He Mingen nodded and lay down again. He Hanzhu was about to turn off the lights when suddenly, he heard his son calling him again behind him.

He turned his head and met his son's bright eyes. He whispered, "I have one more thing, I didn't tell you about it just now."

"You said." He Hanzhu said softly.

"Mom said, your birthday is the same day as me. But I have never spent it with you, Dad. Before my mother went out, she promised me that she would come back before our birthday and celebrate our birthday."

He Hanzhu paused: "It's okay. Even if my mother can't come back this time, my father will celebrate with you and celebrate your birthday."

"And your birthday, dad!" He Mingen immediately added.

"Yes, and my birthday."

He Hanzhu smiled and touched his son's head, "Go to sleep."

He Mingen finally felt sleepy, yawned, closed his eyes, and slowly fell asleep.

It was late at night, and there was an autumn wind and night rain outside the window. He Hanzhu got up and closed the window and returned to the bed. He closed his eyes and listened to the urging sound of autumn wind and autumn rain, as well as the breathing of his son by the pillow, and all the memories of her old things. In this way, the night rain of the sycamore trees in front of the courtyard steps surged into his heart.

Finally, an idea emerged.

He knew that there was no need to be like this. If she had let her know, she might have blamed him for his impulse. But after this thought came out, it would take root in his heart like a vine, quickly taking root in his heart, climbing up, and restraining him. He could not suppress the impulse in his heart, and that long-lost thing was like the impulse he had just fallen into emotional love, eagerly urging him to do something that might feel stupid when he remembered.

He could no longer help it, quickly turned over and got out of bed, put on some clothes, returned to the study room again, and began to arrange things.

Before dawn, He Mingen, who was still sleeping, was gently woken up by someone. He rubbed his sleepy eyes and was surprised to find that his father was standing in front of the bed.

He was dressed neatly and magnificently, looking like he was about to go on a long journey.

"Dad, where are you going?" He Mingen asked uneasily.

"Do you want to pick up your mother with your dad? Let's go quietly, and then you'll scare her!"

His father asked him with a smile.

This was the idea that He Mingen had secretly thought about it countless times but dared not say it. He knew in a daze that if he said this, he would be ignorant. So he didn't dare to say it.

He didn't expect that his father would be the same as he thought.

His eyes glowed, and he screamed in surprise, and then he jumped out of the bed, jumping high.

"Okay! I want to go! I want to go! Dad, I want to go!"

He Hanzhu was infected by his son's emotions and laughed loudly. With a smile, he threw his son's clothes over and covered his little head.
