Chapter 5. Six Years Old Eighty-One Difficulties(2/2)

She thought about it and decided not to break up with Zhu Qingying, because she only knows Zhu Qingying in class now. If she breaks up with Zhu Qingying, no one will play with her.

Meng Yuning listened to her sister's venting, and then led her out of bed and went out for dinner.

Xuezhu's parents had already stopped arguing and called them to come and sit over for dinner.

While having a meal, Pei Lianyi accidentally asked about food issues after Meng Yuning started school.

When my father’s morning and evening shifts are upside down, lunch can be solved in the school cafeteria, but where to eat dinner is really a problem.

Lao Meng disagreed: "He will go out to buy lunch boxes when giving him money."

"How can I eat boxed lunches? The oil used for cooking outside is all gutter oil. Eating too much is not good for the health." Song Yanping frowned and said.

Pei Lianyi said: "How about this, Ningning will have dinner at our house in the future."

Lao Meng shook his head and refused: "No, he is not a child who wants to feed him now. He is in junior high school and still needs someone to take care of him."

It was still a few words back and forth, and finally Lao Meng suggested that he would pay Xue Zhu food every month. Pei Lianyi said no, but Lao Meng insisted on letting Meng Yuning eat for free at his house. Pei Lianyi said that he was all neighbors and didn't have to be polite.

"Brothers, I'll settle the score clearly," Lao Meng said impatiently, "You must pay for the food."

Pei Lianyi and his wife looked at each other and knew that this was Lao Meng's bottom line, so they had to compromise.

Xuezhu's attention was all on TV, and she automatically filtered the adults' words. The adults said a lot, but the result was that Brother Ningning would have dinner at her house in the future.

"Eat," Song Yanping knocked her daughter's bowl with chopsticks, "If you stare at the TV again, I will turn off the TV if I don't want to eat."

Xuezhu lowered her head and hurriedly ate a few bites of rice.

Pei Lianyi looked at the TV and felt strange: "You have watched Journey to the West for a summer vacation but haven't finished it?"

Xuezhu said: "How can you finish reading the 9981 difficulties so quickly?"

Pei Lianyi said: "It's only more than twenty episodes, and the newly filmed sequels are only more than forty episodes."

"How is that possible!" Xue Zhu retorted, "There are eighty-one difficulties, at least eighty-one episodes! And the first episode of Sun Wukong just popped out of the stone but hadn't yet obtained the scriptures."

Pei Lianyi was speechless and didn't know how to defend himself.

Neither Song Yanping nor Lao Meng participated in this boring debate. She was concerned about anything with the children. She said that if you have an episode of 81, then that is 81.

Xuezhu asked Meng Yuning again, wanting to find his sense of identity from him: "Brother Ningning, how many episodes do you think there are Journey to the West?"

Meng Yuning frowned, wondering, and said indifferently: "I think this Tang Monk looks different from the previous episodes."

"ah?"

Xue Zhu watched Tang Monk who was reciting the tight-knot curse on TV. In this episode, Sun Wukong was so pitiful. He knew that the Bone Spirit was a bad guy, but Tang Monk just didn't believe Sun Wukong's words and wanted to drive Sun Wukong out of his sect.

What she hates most is this episode, which is so heartbreaking. In the past, she would skip this episode whenever the TV station played this episode, but other stations now do not have good TV series, so she could only hold back her heart and keep watching.

Seeing Sun Wukong being driven away by his master, it was like she was driven away by herself.

I hate this episode of Tang Monk.

She didn't want to look at it at first sight.

"What's the difference?" she sneered.
