Chapter five hundred and forty-three

Louise didn't wait long, and Bernadette arrived as scheduled.

However, this former princess, a great figure in the extraordinary world, had a serious face and did not look happy, even somewhat reluctant.

She glanced at Louise, who was watching her with a smile, and the cup of tea that had just been brewed opposite her. She suddenly smiled and said in an erratic tone:

"You're really right. We will meet again soon."

"Haha, now it seems that you are more of a 'master of prophecy' than me."

Hearing this comment with unclear meaning and an obviously unkind tone, Louise waved her hands quickly and replied humbly:

"You've won the prize. How can this be a prophecy? It's just that I knew some information in advance."

Unexpectedly, Bernadette gave Louise a soft look and said:

"Did I compliment you?"

Um, you are so angry... Louise raised her hand and touched the tip of her nose, and couldn't help but reveal an awkward smile. She could roughly guess Bernadette's mood, so she took the initiative to pick up the topic:

"You must have received the letter from the 'Star Admiral', right?"

Bernadette sat directly opposite the desk, casually took out a stack of papers and threw it on the table. Without speaking, she started drinking tea by herself.

Louise didn't care, picked up the paper on the table, flipped through it briefly, and said with a smile:

"This information should be of some help to you."

"Why Cattleya?" Bernadette did not respond directly, but asked this question.

Louise shook her head and corrected:

"You are wrong. You did not intentionally involve the Star Admiral, but Mr. Fool took action in time to help Cattleya get rid of the fatal entanglement of the Hidden Sage."

Bernadette did not refute. She did not doubt the authenticity of Louise's words, but she did not expose the matter so easily and continued to question:

"Then, when we parted last time, why did you say that we would meet soon?"

Louise paused for half a second and smiled bitterly:

"Would you believe it if I said that this was not what I was referring to before?"

Hearing this answer, Bernadette couldn't help but frowned. Could it be that Louise, the "witch", was planning something dangerous again? Can't she stop for a while?

Moreover, she actually wanted to drag me into the water, which is really disgusting!

"Then let's not talk about it for now, let's talk about Cattleya first." Bernadette decisively brought the topic back to the original point.

Louise was convinced, and then spread her hands and replied noncommittally:

"Okay, what do you want to know?"

Bernadette pondered for a while. She came here immediately after receiving the letter. She did not think deeply about it, so the first question was just tentatively asked:

"Cattleya, what's the difference between you and me?"

Louise smiled slightly, expressed her appreciation for Bernadette's keenness, and gave the answer in a very relaxed tone:

"Like 'Admiral of the Stars', there is not just one lucky person chosen by Mr. Fool. They have different identities in the real world and different extraordinary sequences. They are completely strangers to each other, but they can be in the 'Fool'

' with the help of face-to-face communication and gatherings."

"However, one thing that is different from me is that they are not 'scrollers' in the true sense."

Bernadette frowned slightly, she didn't understand, what was the purpose of "The Fool" doing this?

As a god, what does she want to do by gathering some Extraordinaries who are not high in rank, or even Extraordinaries from different paths? Does she want to create a church from scratch?

"So, you are also a member of this party." Bernadette explained softly.

Louise admitted quite frankly: "Yes, one of the most senior members."

Bernadette asked again: "So, the information Cattleya gave me was also given to me intentionally by you or Mr. Fool?"

"Well, that's not entirely true." Louise hesitated for a moment and decided to tell the truth:

"The information about the 'Forsaken Land' is actually not that important, and the 'Star Admiral' obtained the information through normal transactions and naturally has the right to dispose of it, so it is normal for it to be handed over to you.

."

Bernadette was noncommittal about this, but she was certain that without the permission of "The Fool", Cattleya would never dare to hand over this information to herself.

Another piece of evidence is that apart from this information, Cattleya did not dare to mention any information about "The Fool".

Moreover, Bernadette did not get any valuable information from this intelligence. It was just a piece of mythical history. Even if it was different from the history spread by the Church of the Seven Gods today, it was actually not surprising.

She frowned and asked: "Roselle once said that the 'Land Abandoned by Gods' hides the final answer to all things. Do she, you, and The Fool all come from the 'Land Abandoned by Gods'?"

Louise waved her hands and chuckled twice at the same time, neither admitting nor denying, and said:

"There is no need to test. I have already said that as long as you succeed in being promoted to a sequence two angel, I will tell you the answer."

Although she could deny it directly, it would give Bernadette a sense of expectation, which would probably make her continue to test her even more intensely. Therefore, Louise simply did not answer at all, and this trouble would not occur.

Bernadette was not disappointed either. She continued to ask curiously:

"Mr. Fool, can you reach the 'Land Abandoned by Gods'?"

Louise nodded slightly: "Yes, there are members from the 'Forsaken Land' in the party organized by Mr. Fool."

"What's in the 'Forsaken Land'?" Bernadette asked again.

"Isn't it already described very clearly in this information?" Louise patted the stack of papers on the table, and then added with a smile:

"As Russell said, there are answers to many things hidden in the 'Land Abandoned by God'."

Bernadette was silent for a moment, raised her eyes and asked:

"An answer that even you don't understand?"

Louise couldn't help but laugh. She pointed at herself and emphasized:

"I'm only Sequence Five, and I'm not omniscient!"

Bernadette looked at Louise calmly, then looked away for two seconds, and finally asked:

"So, Cattleya's incident was just an accident and has no special significance?"

Louise spread her hands and said helplessly: "A very simple truth."

"If The Fool really wants to do something to you, why not do it directly? Even doing it through me is a good choice. Why involve the Star Admiral?"

"With Cattleya's feelings for you, are you still worried that she will be bad for you?"

Bernadette did not refute, but glanced at Louise blankly, as if to say:

"You just said you didn't know everything!"

But after getting this promise, she could finally feel relieved. After all, Louise's reputation in this regard was pretty good. Although the latter had a somewhat bad personality, she never broke her promise and gained weight.

"Then, from now on, I can submit Russell's diary to The Fool through Cattleya?" Bernadette raised her eyes and asked.

Louise's heart skipped a beat, this shouldn't happen, she and Bernadette were both "relatives", how could they fall out so quickly!

She felt sad, but she still pretended to be free and easy and replied:

"Of course you can, that's your right and freedom."

Bernadette said a long "Oh", even nodded as if it was serious, and said:

"Well, I'm just worried about whether this will affect you?"

Louise smiled indifferently, not showing any signs of heartache, and simply replied:

"It doesn't matter. You're worrying too much."

"That's good, then I'll feel relieved." Bernadette showed a relieved and satisfied smile, paused for a moment and then said:
