Chapter 8 Freedom(2/2)

"Just here." Cheng Jiaoniang said, "You don't have to go to a good store."

"That's true, no matter how good the store is, can it be better than Taipingju?" the maid said with a smile.

Jin Geer and Banqin both laughed, and the group casually approached the nearest house.

"Ma'am, please come this way."

The waiter greeted me warmly.

Ordinary restaurants only have one floor, and there are no private rooms. They are all scattered in the hall. At this time, many people were already sitting. Cheng Jiaoniang and others chose a seat at the end and sat down.

"Two meat dishes, two vegetarian dishes, a bowl of tea and a pot of water will be enough," the maid said.

The waiter sang loudly and went away. Like all restaurants, the main meal is preceded by cold cuts. The difference is that the cold cuts in famous restaurants are more refined and use expensive ingredients, while ordinary restaurants just serve simple candied fruits.

A new customer walked in outside the door.

"Seller, are you enjoying yourself?"

This sentence came out in the commotion, making the maid startled and couldn't help but raise her head.

The three people sitting at the same table were ordering food with the waiter.

"Yes, yes." The waiter said with a smile, "I feel at ease. Guests, do you want vegetarian food or meat food? Sesame food or clear soup? Ten dishes or four dishes?"

Hearing his announcement, the three people who ordered the food looked fine, while the maid's eyes widened.

"This, this, this joy, there are so many tricks?" She couldn't help but blurt out and asked.

"That's natural."

The person at the table next to me overheard and responded, "How about being happy and at ease? You can do whatever you like and eat whatever you like."

The maid looked at Cheng Jiaoniang with a strange expression.

The three people at the table over there have already skillfully accepted the waiter's words.

"Meat dishes, ten kinds of dishes, and clear soup."

Cheng Jiaoniang looked at the seat next to her.

"With so many dishes, I'm afraid they will be expensive, right?" she asked.

Seeing such a clean and beautiful young lady asking questions, the man next to her couldn't help laughing.

"It's not expensive, it's not expensive. A few handfuls of the dishes are worth a few bucks, so I can tell the lady that these are just side dishes. The store will pay you to death if you just order this. Everyone will also order drinks or some main dishes."

He smiled, and as he spoke, as if to prove this statement, he raised his hand and called the store owner loudly, "Add three dishes of happy and numb vegetarian soup to me."

After he finished speaking, he looked at Cheng Jiaoniang with a bit of pride.

"Madam, do you want to try one too? It tastes simple and casual, even better than the passing fairy. Does the passing fairy know you?" He said, and then patted his head and smiled, "Of course everyone knows about the passing fairy, little one.

Madam, I must know, but you will know after you taste this joy and ease today."

Cheng Jiaoniang smiled and did not answer, lowered her head and picked up the chopsticks.

The expression on the maid's face became more and more complicated, seeming to be surprised, joyful, and a little bit happy.

"I really didn't expect this to spread so fast, and in such a... trick, it's only been a few days," she murmured.

Cheng Jiaoniang picked up a bite of vegetables and ate it.

"There is always a shortage of smart people in this world." She said slowly, with a faint smile on her lips.

Dou Qi walked in the door with a sullen face. There were already more than a dozen people sitting in the fine lotus box room, ranging in age. When Dou Qi came in, some showed smiles and some showed no expression.

"Master Dou, why are you calling us here for delaying your fortune?" one of the older men asked with a smile.

There was no smile on Dou Qi's face.
