Chapter 25 Let's go(1/2)

I want that girl.

Mrs. Cheng felt as if she had heard this sentence just a few days ago.

"That... darling girl?" she asked.

Mr. Cheng nodded.

"Is that why?" Mrs. Cheng asked.

"He said yes." Mr. Cheng said.

Obviously this requirement is really lower than everyone expected.

"Don't even think about it. If he wants it, just give it to him. She's not our girl anyway." Mrs. Cheng said, "When the soldiers come, we will cover up the water and the earth. If he opens his mouth, we will deal with it. If he doesn't open his mouth, we will not move."

Speaking of which, I thought of that girl.

"Besides, that girl has caused so many troubles since she came here. Our family cannot tolerate such a girl," she said.

Mr. Cheng nodded.

"Go and tell that girl to go with her real master," he said.

The servants followed the order and returned soon.

"Master, madam, there's no need to say anything. The girl is right outside the door and has seen Mr. Saturday," she said.

Mrs. Cheng smiled.

"That's just right. They can handle their own family matters themselves." She said, smiling, waving her fan and looking at Mr. Cheng, "I don't know if that girl is willing to go this time."

"Going home with the young master?" Banqin asked in surprise.

Saturday Lang nodded.

"Great!" Banqin was overjoyed, "I'll go tell my wife right now."

He turned around to leave, but stopped when he thought of something.

"Sir, do you agree?" she asked again.

"You are not from their family, how can they agree or disagree?" Zhou Lang said with a frown.

Banqin was stunned for a moment.

"But, the lady is from their family." She asked.

Saturday Lang frowned even more.

"What lady, I mean you." He said.

"Ah?" Banqin was stunned and looked at Liu Lang, "Aren't you taking my wife with you?"

"Are you confused?" Zhou Lang looked at the girl, frowning with a bit of impatience, "Is your wife's surname Zhou? Hurry and pack up, we have to go out before dark."

After saying that, he turned around and strode away.

Banqin stood there, his ears buzzing.

Cheng Jiaoniang woke up very early. While Banqin was telling the little girl, she got tired from lying down silently, so she sat up on her own and alerted the girls and servants outside. She also heard their whispers.

.

She quietly opened the book. Different from the pictures on the screen and the only two lines of words, the densely packed fonts came into view. Cheng Jiaoniang felt her eyes blurred and her heart was in turmoil. She closed her eyes for a long time.

Slow down.

To watch or not to watch?

After silently looking at the scenery outside the window for a moment, Cheng Jiaoniang lowered her head again.

Half a day passed quickly.

That nauseating feeling no longer appears. I cover it with my palm and read line by line, and the words no longer jump around in front of my eyes.

Although she only read one line in the end.

This is enough for half a day.

Cheng Jiaoniang raised her head and saw that it was almost evening outside, and burning clouds dyed the sky red.

The anxious whispers of the girls and servants outside came again.

"Why haven't you come back yet..."

"Will you be an errand..."

"Her wife is a fool and can't live without others..."

"How about we go in and take a look..."

Cheng Jiaoniang looked out the window silently and closed the book.

"Come here," she shouted.

The voices outside suddenly stopped, and the yard seemed so quiet that you couldn't even hear your breathing.

After a while, someone came in tremblingly and hastily.

"Madam." The girl knelt down and shouted tremblingly, not daring to raise her head.

"I want to change clothes." Cheng Jiaoniang looked at her and said.

"Yes." The girl responded and raised her head. The sun was setting in the west, and the bright afterglow of the setting sun fell on the sitting woman in front of her, dazzling her for a moment.

Oh my god, it’s so beautiful, and it doesn’t stink either…

What those people said are lies!

Banqin hurriedly stepped into the door.

"Madam, are you awake?" she asked hurriedly. Before she finished speaking, she saw the girl on the corridor looking back at her.

Banqin's voice suddenly stopped.

"Madam, Bai Shui." The girl retracted her gaze and said, kneeling down with her head lowered and placing her tea cup on the table.

Cheng Jiaoniang reached out to pick up the teacup.

Banqin came back to her senses and hurriedly walked a few steps forward and knelt down.

"Madam, I want to drink cold water." She said, reaching out to hold the teacup to test it.

"It doesn't matter, I can wait a moment." Cheng Jiaoniang said.

Banqin responded, took back his hands and sat down.

"Madam, do you want to change?" She thought of something and asked quickly.

"I've already done it for my wife." The girl who was still kneeling on the porch said hurriedly, with a bit of excitement, as if she had done something extraordinary.

Banqin said oh.

Cheng Jiaoniang picked up the teacup and drank water slowly.

"Madam, what do you want to eat tonight? Banqin will cook it for you." Banqin smiled again.

Cheng Jiaoniang looked at her.

Banqin lowered his gaze, not daring to look directly.

"Leng Tao." Cheng Jiaoniang said.

Banqin lowered his head and answered yes.

"I'll do it right now." She stood up and said.

She just walked down the steps when a maid came outside the door.

"Miss Banqin, Mr. Zhou's people from the second gate want to ask you if you are okay?" she said.

Banqin's body suddenly froze and his face turned pale.

"Mom, please tell me, sir, to allow me to make another cold wash for my wife." She said in a trembling voice.

Cheng Jiaoniang put down her tea cup.

"Sister Banqin, if you are busy, go ahead and let me do the cooking in the kitchen." The girl said from the side.

"I can do it!" Banqin turned around and shouted.

The girl was startled, and when she saw Banqin's tears, she became even more puzzled.

Banqin turned around and walked towards the kitchen with her head lowered.

"No need." Cheng Jiaoniang said, "You can go ahead."

Banqin turned around and knelt down on the ground crying.

The maid outside the door and the girl on the porch were all stunned.

What's going on here?

"Madam, madam." Banqin burst into tears and shouted, kneeling forward, "I'm not going, I'm not going, I'm going to tell the Sixth Young Master right now."
