Chapter Thirty-One Temple VIP Unblocking Chapter Four

In the middle of the night, the moon is bright.

The whole camp was as silent as an empty city, and the crackling of torches was the only sound. The night sentry standing on its post had been integrated with the flagpole, and only the tip of the gun occasionally reflected a glimmer of cold light. The moonlight poured down like mercury, Hundreds of military tents are connected end to end, with strict laws and regulations, like a strange beast entrenched in the darkness.

On the roof of the highest parade building in the entire military camp, Ji Ruochen sat on the ground with his knees in his arms, staring blankly at the half-curved moon hanging high in the sky.

A faint figure rose under the moonlight and landed next to Ji Ruochen like light smoke. He hugged his knees and sat down like him. This man was dressed in Taoist attire. Although he had an ordinary appearance, he naturally made people feel close to him. It's cloud wind.

Yunfeng also looked up at the lonely moon in the sky, smiled and asked, "What? I have no intention of practicing Taoism."

Ji Ruochen's heart trembled. Yunfeng used the last four words in an affirmative tone. Could it be that his shaken heart and confusion were so obvious? In this cold moonlight, in this army filled with killings, in his own way In front of Taoist Master Yunfeng, who had been with him since he started practicing Taoism and took care of him in every possible way, he suddenly felt that he didn't have to hide too much.

"Senior brother, I...I don't know what I should do. Practice Taoism? Just for the sake of becoming a human and ascending? Keep practicing. If you can't ascend in this life, then you will enter reincarnation and start over in the next life until you achieve the great path. .But after becoming immortal and ascending, where will you go to become an immortal? What is there in the thirty-six days? What is beyond the thirty-six days? One day, you are on the other side of the ascension. Is everything different? When to start over?"

Although Ji Ruochen was young when he entered Taoism, his mind was already mature, which was very different from those who had practiced Taoism since childhood. He did not practice because he admired Taoism and admired immortals, nor did he stop thinking about it because he believed in Taoism. Ji Ruochen's Taoism, in the beginning It was purely to save his life and cover up the fate that had happened to him. After the battle of Luoshui, although he could not fully understand the abyss-like intentions of the real people of Dezong, but with his agility, he also vaguely knew the counterfeit that scared him the most at the beginning. The issue of banishing immortals is no longer as important as once thought.

As soon as the heavy burden fell from my mind, I suddenly lost my goal.

Moreover, he learned from the female disciple of Jinguang Cave that one month before he came down from the mountain, Jinguang Cave had received news that he would leave the mountain to practice and go to Luoyang, taking a heavy treasure with him. This way, the various sects would have time. Arrangements were made in advance to rob people on the road. When he first came down from the mountain, the people he sent for reincarnation belonged to multiple sects, which shows that the news spread very widely. If not for the fact that each sect thought that he had a chance of ascending, they would be more interested in robbing people than in robbing them. The fate of Baozhiwang is still uncertain. And the news of his departure was revealed so early. Either there is a traitor in the Tao De Sect, or the news is deliberately released by the real people. In other words, he became a bait.

In fact, Ji Ruochen has already thought about this matter in the past few days, so what if he is a bait? Even if he knew that the real people in the sect wanted to use him as bait, he would still do it. From the time he entered the Longmen Inn, almost everything important Decisions were all made for him by others. Practicing stick skills, entering the Taoist sect, practicing magic, and even getting engaged to Gu Qing, in fact, none of the decisions were made by him. Perhaps there was only one thing, and that was after the Luoyang catastrophe , he wanted to leave Daodezong. But even for Gu Qing, he had to go back to Daodezong. Moreover, if he thought about it carefully, Daodezong had really been a great favor to him, and he had nothing to do with him. Although it was all because of The word "relegated to immortal".

These things have been weighing on my mind for several years, and the heavy pressure only came out tonight.

Yunfeng smiled. Although Ruochen's words were messy, he seemed to know exactly what Ruochen wanted to express. He raised his hand and pointed at the sleeping camp at his feet, and said: "Ruochen, look. Most of these living beings are working hard." In life, all they want is food and clothing. And some people are always seeking favors everywhere, just for fame and fortune. In fact, what can you do if you have the world? This skin can still only eat three meals and sleep for a hundred years. Then I scratched the loess. How many of us cultivators with great supernatural powers are willing to stand high in that temple and be worshiped by the world?"

Ji Ruochen nodded. After his childhood experience, five years of practice, and two worldly walks, he felt the same way. Although the road is difficult, every step is unique, and the taste is far better than the intrigues and intrigues of the earthly world.

Yunfeng seemed to sigh, but he still had a friendly smile on his face: "But Ruochen, these things that seem meaningless to us are often all they need to survive. We are just lucky. It was only after I entered the Taoist Sect that I had the opportunity to sigh to the moon. Speaking of which, I was as confused as you are today. At that time, I chose to go down the mountain to practice and travel around the world, and only returned to the mountain after eleven years."

Ji Ruochen was greatly surprised and immediately asked: "What happens next?" He knew that Yunfeng had walked in the world, and he always thought that he was handling secular affairs for the sect, not because of Yunfeng's own cultivation.

Yunfeng smiled and said: "How? It's the same when you go down the mountain, and it's the same when you go up the mountain."

Ji Ruochen asked in surprise: "Why is this?"

Yunfeng said: "Although I still don't know what the meaning of this life is, it took me eleven years to learn to let it go first. Since I can't figure it out, let's concentrate on cultivating Taoism and doing the things at hand. , maybe one day I’ll understand.”

Speaking of this, Yunfeng patted Ji Ruochen on the shoulder and said: "When you don't know what to do, just do what is definitely right. No matter what, you can never go wrong in practicing Taoism."

Ji Ruochen murmured: "Since you can't figure it out, why not practice Tao..."

Seeing him frowning, pursed his lips, and thinking hard, Yunfeng couldn't help but smile and said: "Your engagement ceremony will be in more than two months. Although the sect is not planning a big event, it will still invite some." Taoist friends came to watch the ceremony. If your Taoist conduct is weak, it will not look good. Although Gu Qing is as indifferent as the clouds and will not care about these things, who knows what the golden mountains in the clouds, the sky and the sea in the clouds will say. Come on. There won't be any breakthroughs in two months, but it's better than wasting it in vain."

Ji Ruochen felt a little dazed when he thought of the betrothal ceremony. Is it really true that Gu Qing, this fairy-like figure who could not be imagined in his dreams in the past, will really become a fairy couple from now on?

Yunfeng said again: "It's unbelievable that Gu Qing is so young, but has such a Taoist practice. Thinking about her past connections, opportunities, and consequences, it is extraordinary. Being able to find such an immortal couple is both a blessing and a pressure. You can take care of yourself. Bar……"

Ji Ruochen suddenly remembered something and asked hesitantly: "Brother, Master Jing Xiao was poisoned by Qingxu, can we just let it go?"

Yunfeng sighed and said: "Of course not. It's just that you don't know something. There is no such person as Xu Wu in Qingxu Palace."

Having said this, Yunfeng suddenly let out a sigh and looked to the east. Ji Ruochen followed his gaze, but found nothing.

Yunfeng looked into the distance for a while, then looked away, frowning and said: "Just now I seemed to have seen a flash of murderous spiritual energy there... Well, I think I saw it wrong."

Three days later, Ji Ruochen left eight Daode Sect disciples behind and ordered them to continue studying the art of military service, while he and Yunfeng returned to Luoyang.

At nightfall, Ji Ruochen came to the other courtyard where Ji Tianxia lived, but he heard the loud sound of books, and Ji Tianxia was reading at night by candlelight. Ji Ruochen listened quietly for a while, then knocked on the door and entered. When Ji Tianxia saw that it was Ji Ruochen, he put down his

Holding the scroll in his hand, he rolled his eyes and said, "It's you, is there anything wrong?"

Ji Ruochen walked to the table and stared at it. The book was originally a history of the former government and the public. There was also a pot of wine and four side dishes on the table, which were dried bamboo shoots, peanuts, fennel beans, and pickled peppers.

Drinking and reading history at the same time, it was a pleasant time.

Seeing Ji Ruochen flipping through the unofficial history, Ji Tianxia immediately said: "Since I have accepted your money and become your staff, I will naturally do my best. Seize the time to read history books so that I can learn from history and avoid making the same mistakes as my predecessors.

.”

Ji Ruochen sat down at the table, cupped his hands to Ji Tianxia and said: "Mr. Ji, I used your strategy to tell Li An that Luoyang had the appearance of an imperial capital, and it really made King Shou change his mind. Mr. Ji's hexagrams predict the scholastic heaven and man,

Ruochen is really impressed that he can calculate such a big event! But I don’t know what kind of magic method he used, Ziwei Dou Shu, innate hexagrams, or the Nandi River Map?"

Ji Tianxia glared at Ji Ruochen and said, "I only have to offer suggestions, and you only have to use them. As for where this strategy comes from and how it is based on, I don't have to tell you."

Ji Ruochen smiled slightly, having already made a plan in his mind, and immediately said: "If you are generous with your advice, sir, how about upgrading the monthly offerings to a hundred taels of silver?"

Ji Tianxia was halfway through drinking a glass of wine when he suddenly heard Ji Ruochen's words. He took a sip of wine and immediately took a sidetrack. He choked and coughed, his face turned red, and he bent down, relying on his right hand to hold him up.

Ji Ruochen was startled and hurriedly stepped forward to support Ji Tianxia and said, "Mr. Ji, are you okay?"

Ji Tianxia couldn't stop choking and coughing. He grabbed Ji Ruochen's sleeve and finally regained his breath. He just shouted "One hundred and fifty taels!" and started coughing again.

Ji Ruochen laughed and said, "Then two hundred taels!"

With a bang, the heavy pear wood chair fell to the ground. Ji Ruochen was caught off guard and couldn't hold on to it. Ji Tianxia slipped from his support and sat heavily on the ground. Ji Tianxia finally struggled to get up, but his limbs were weak from coughing and he couldn't lift it at all.

The pear wood chair weighing dozens of kilograms could not be moved. Ji Ruochen picked up the chair and straightened it up, and helped Ji Tianxia sit down.

Ji Tianxia snorted, straightened his clothes, raised his eyebrows solemnly, and sat upright, then said: "The sage has said, why do you need to talk about profit, only benevolence and righteousness. I am not coveting this little offering, I just see that you are sincerely studying. If you are like this, it is like a severe drought.

Wang Ganni. In today's world, people are exaggerated and noisy. There are not many students like you who sincerely seek knowledge and accept things with an open mind. I have to give you some advice."

Ji Ruochen hurriedly thanked him respectfully: "Yes, Mr. Duo Cheng gave me some advice."

Ji Tianxia immediately coughed and said: "I have told you a long time ago that the world seems to be peaceful on the surface, but in fact it is full of crises. This dynasty is strong on the outside but weak on the inside. The military governors in various places are sitting on heavy troops and holding great power in civil affairs. But

Collecting money and silk, serving as officials. However, the imperial army is laxly armed and not full of personnel. Such a dangerous situation must be seen by those who are interested. King Shou is not a fool, of course he understands. And according to historical records, there are many worlds before the rise and fall of the imperial family.

Different appearances are considered as omens. Look at the great commotion in Luoyang, which has not been seen for hundreds of years. What kind of omen is this calamity? Those who are thoughtful must be able to calculate it and must calculate it carefully. Those who cannot calculate will just make wild guesses.

.”

Ji Ruochen deeply agreed.

Ji Tianxia paused for a moment, stared at Ji Ruochen, and then said: "You are young and your knowledge is limited, but how can Li An see it? All he can see is the robes of the Daode Sect disciples. Everything you said

In his ears, every word is the edict of the Taoist sect. If you tell him that Luoyang can become the imperial capital, he, the prince who guards Luoyang, will be elated, mixed with joy and worry, and he will not think carefully about what you are doing.

Is it a lie? But then again, who in today's world would believe that a dignified disciple of the Taoism Sect would actually lie? If Li An himself wanted to answer this omen, he would naturally knock Emperor Ming off the throne. Zhenwu Guan, Yang Guozhong

These people are the confidants of Emperor Ming. If Li An wants to rebel, can he still find them? Of course, he has to rely on you, the Taoist Sect who leads the world in righteousness!"

Ji Ruochen was stunned when he heard this. Is Ji Tianxia really just talking nonsense? Or is he so clever? He unconsciously picked up the unofficial history at hand and flipped through it. When he lowered his head, he saw that the page was about the former Emperor Wen of the dynasty.

At the time of the founding of the People's Republic of China, all the different phenomena presented in the four directions are exactly what the author saw with his own eyes. However, there are many absurdities in it, and a Taoist like Ji Ruochen will know at a glance that they are just random fabrications.

Is Ji Tianxia going to make plans for him based on such an unofficial history, which is at least mostly made up?

He came here tonight and wanted to get some words out of Ji Tianxia and find out some details, but he wanted to hit a wall everywhere. No matter how he tried his words and looked at his words, Ji Tianxia didn't seem to have any moral conduct.

Ji Ruochen was speechless and could only say goodbye.

Returning to his residence, he bathed in incense and sat cross-legged in meditation, intending to practice the Three Pure Secrets all night. However, he sat there for a long time, but could not calm down. After sitting there for half an hour, Ji Ruochen simply got up and put on his clothes.

, looking at the moon through the window. In front of the small building, a sparse sycamore tree stretched out three or two branches over the courtyard wall, and a half moon hung on the highest tip, shrouded in a dim halo. There will be strong winds tomorrow.

Ji Ruochen was thinking wildly when suddenly a fragment of memory flashed through his mind. He remembered that the jade slip that recorded the secret method of the Endless Sea was still in his hand. Since he couldn't calm down to practice, why not take a look at the jade slip that contained all the secrets of the endless sea.

What? The human-monster special path, the secret method of the endless sea is for the cultivation of the monster clan, Ji Ruochen does not dare to practice it. But the stones from other mountains can attack jade, there is no harm in broadening the horizons. Not to mention that he will meet Qingyi again in the future, and he will have to

Supervising her practice.

Thinking of Qing Yi, Ji Ruochen's chest tightened again. He really didn't know whether or not he should tell her about his engagement.

So, what about Yin Yin?

He stopped his wild thoughts and took out the jade slip in a panic, as if he was afraid that if he thought about it for a moment longer, he would touch a place deep in his heart that he shouldn't touch.

Ji Ruochen composed himself and chanted the oral instructions taught by Honghuang Wei. Words slowly appeared on the jade slips, flashing back and forth as his heart moved.

The jade slip begins with a general formula, discussing the mysterious and desolate avenues of heaven and earth, followed by the secrets of cultivating the heart, and then the methods of using various Daoyuan to defeat enemies. Ji Ruochen first glanced at the general structure and knew that there are many

He couldn't use any of the techniques to practice the Heart Techniques, and even if he could use them, he wouldn't be able to learn them. The Three Purity True Techniques coincided with the magical powers of heaven and earth, and were so profound that he couldn't master them even if he spent his whole life, so how could he still have the energy to practice them?

Another method? So Ji Ruochen jumped back to the starting point and read the general formula carefully. What Honghuang Wei said he could understand by himself should also be referring to this general formula.

"Tao is the beginning of all things. Things are born from Tao, so it is called the beginning..." Seeing this, Ji Ruochen nodded secretly. It seems that what Master Ziyang said is true. There is only one great road, and different paths lead to the same destination. This secret method of the endless sea

The starting point of the discussion is actually exactly the same as the Three Pure Secrets.

After discussing the great road, what follows is the beginning of all things in the world. The structure of this opening chapter is also the same as that of the Three Pure Secrets. However, the two scriptures that were regarded as treasures by humans and demons parted ways at this point.

According to the Three Pure Secrets, before there was heaven and earth, all things were empty. There was no sky, no earth, no yin, no yang; no sun, no moon, no crystals and no light. Only Taishang Daojun lived alone in the void. Later, Taishang Taojun

Lord Shangdao came down from the void and uttered the "Open Heaven Sutra", a total of 480,000 volumes, each volume has 480,000 words, and each word spans hundreds of miles. In this way, the sky and the earth begin to separate from the pure and the turbid, and the four directions are formed.

Fang Li.

However, in this article "On Tao", it is said that when all things are not yet complete, it is called chaos, black and yellow. Afterwards, one qi begins to arise in the chaos, and it takes hundreds of millions of years to form Xuan, Yuan, and three qi.

The nine qi are formed. The three qi are the masters of heaven and earth, and the nine qi are the beginning of all things. From then on, all things in heaven and earth began to exist.

The beginning of heaven and earth, the origin of all things, these two classics can be said to be completely opposite to each other.

The Three Pure Scriptures believe that heaven and earth were created by the Supreme Taoist Lord, and then they were divided into heaven and earth, giving birth to all things, and opening up human wisdom, all of which were taught by the Supreme Taoist Lord. The Endless Sea Theory of Taoism says that all things in the heaven and earth came from chaos.

, born naturally, not created by some supreme being who is above chaos.

Since the beginning of the chapter is essentially different, the two scriptures will naturally go further and further apart. The cultivation of qi and body is completely different. However, the tributary knowledge such as magic weapons and elixirs are much similar.

Ji Ruochen knew that humans and monsters had different paths and achieved different results. However, he did not expect that the two clans' scriptures would have such different interpretations of the beginning of heaven and earth.
