Chapter 11: Because our family lacks a TV(2/2)

"I have an impression, it's called Qin Hao, right?" Chen Zude looked at the battle list in his hand.

"Hey, yesterday I just said that my opponent was too weak, and today I have a litmus test."

Nie Weiping smiled and took a sip of tea: "The strength of this touchstone is not low. Let's see if he can chew it off."

A breeze blew by, and the top page of the battle list was turned over, revealing the player information on the lower page.

Zhou Tao, male, was born in January 1963. He has participated in three National Children's Go Competitions and his best result was in the top 16.

In the competition area, after reaffirming the rules of the competition, the referee announced that the main game had officially begun.

"Zhou Tao, please give me some advice."

"Qin Hao, let's start."

Qin Hao directly grabbed a handful of chess pieces from the chess box and placed them on the chess board.

Zhou Tao frowned, a little dissatisfied with Qin Hao's "arrogance", hesitated for a moment, and took out a chess piece from the chess box: single.

Guessing wrongly, Qin Hao got the right to go first in black.

"Point thirty-three."

Facing Qin Hao's somewhat weird first move, Zhou Tao chose close combat: "Three out of four, post!"

On the rostrum, Chen Zude and Nie Weiping have been observing the game between Qin Hao and Zhou Tao. In the first thirty moves, both sides played very fast, but after thirty moves, Zhou Tao's speed obviously slowed down.

After fifty moves, more and more time will be spent in long exams.

Chen Zude said to Nie Weiping: "It seems that this child's understanding of Go is much better than we imagined."

There is actually no direct connection between the speed of the move and the chess power, but in the middle game, he can still make the move almost without thinking. Either he knows nothing about Go, or he has enough confidence in his own strength. Obviously, Qin Hao is the latter.

Sure enough, just as Chen Zude and Nie Weiping expected, when the 120th move was reached, Zhou Tao was sweating profusely and chose to give up and admit defeat.

After the referee records the chess game, he announces the start of the second set.

Chen Zude and Nie Weiping approached the referee and asked for the game.

"This kid's chess game is so murderous."

"I feel some sympathy for Zhou Tao now. This is his last year, but he has encountered such an opponent."

Nie Weiping frowned: "Who do you think this child learned his chess skills from?"

"Furthermore, have you noticed that although this kid always starts with three-point three, his setup is different in every game? In other words, he doesn't use any setup at all."

"It's possible that it's such a formula, we haven't seen it before."

While Chen Zude and Nie Weiping were studying Qin Hao's chess moves, his second game with Zhou Tao had also ended.

Zhou Tao's eyes were red with tears in his eyes, and he placed a handful of chess pieces on the chessboard with great reluctance.

"I surrender."

After the referee announced the victory and promotion, Qin Hao was about to leave, but was stopped by Zhou Tao.

"Kid, how old are you this year?"

"Ten years old in five months."

Zhou Tao laughed sadly when he heard this: "Less than ten years old...do I really have no talent?"

Qin Hao thought for a while and gave up his plan to comfort the other party. Unless he is a genius, there is no way to go on the Go track. The other party seems to be quite old, and he only has this chess ability, which means that he is not suitable for this bowl of rice. It is better to just leave it alone.

If you change your career, you may be able to get better opportunities in the wave of reform and opening up.

As the first player to be promoted, he also attracted the attention of many off-court coaches and teachers. However, they asked many people, and all of them were unfamiliar with the name Qin Hao, let alone their understanding of his chess style.

Already.

The reporter from the Beijing TV station looked like he was idle, so he found Qin Hao.

"Can you do a quick interview?"

"Um."

"What's your name, kid? How old are you this year? How many times is this the first time you have participated in the National Children's Go Competition?"

"Qin Hao, he will be ten years old in five months. This is his first time participating in the competition."

"Wow, it's amazing that you can enter the top 48 at such a young age. What are your expectations for this competition?"

"Let's get second place."

The reporter asked doubtfully: "Why is it the second place and not the champion?"

"The second place prize is a TV set, and our family happens to be short of one."
