Chapter 17 Father's Approval
"No, I'm going to build it myself."
Willie tells the truth.
"You want to build it yourself?" Uncle Oubi showed a deep look of thought in his eyes and looked at Willie seriously. "These things are not simple things, they are all destructive weapons. Child, what do you want to do with these things?"
Facing Uncle Whoopi's doubts, Willy was helpless.
Although I guessed this would happen in advance, there is still no good way to avoid Uncle Wubi’s problem.
If possible, Willy even wanted to build these weapons by himself, so that he could not only act low-key, but also unlock new titles. But there was no way. There was no other blacksmith shop around, and Uncle Oubi would not allow others to interfere in his blacksmith shop, so he had to seek Uncle Oubi's help.
"I want to be a hunter and go hunting in the Morse Forest."
Weiley could only tell the truth, but in fact, he could not make up any other excuses.
"hunter?"
Uncle Whoopi looked at Willy with surprise.
Being a hunter in this world represents the strength and status of a man. For civilians, this is a good development path, provided that you have to bear the risks of hunting moments.
"Have you discussed it with your father and mother?"
Uncle Whoopi stared at Willie seriously.
"No……"
Facing Uncle Whoopi's questioning, Willy had a headache. He even felt that it was not a wise decision to come to Uncle Whoopi.
"Willie, I know you have just returned from the Morse Forest. Maybe you did not encounter any danger during this trip to Morse Forest, but this does not mean that the forest is safe. Listen to me, go back to discuss with your father, and after he agrees, you will build these things."
Uncle Whoopi grew up watching Willie. He didn't want to see Willie make a lifelong decision because of a moment of impulse.
Weiley was completely speechless. He could not tell Uncle Whoopi that he had rich hunter experience and had killed many wolves among the pack of wolves. This was too much, Uncle Whoopi would not believe it.
"I will discuss this matter with my father tonight, and he will definitely agree with my decision. Uncle Wubi, please help me this time."
Weiley said sincerely.
Uncle Wubi was dull and said after a long time, he slowly said, "Okay, I promise you, but when hunting, you must not go too deep into the forest, where there are dangers that you can't imagine."
When Willie heard this, he felt relieved: "Okay, Uncle Whoopi, I will follow your opinion. By the way, how much does it cost to create these things?"
Uncle Wubi thought about it: "Thirty silverhams."
This is a fair price. If you take the cost out, Uncle Wubi can't make much money at all.
"This is a Kinlum."
Weiley handed a golden coin to Uncle Whoopi.
Uncle Whooby knew that Willy had received some money from the hiring team, so he was not surprised that Willy could take out a Kinlum. He entered the inner room, stayed for a while, and took out a bulging small bag.
"There are seventy silverhams inside, please count them."
Uncle Whoopi handed the wallet to Vili.
"No need to count." After receiving the money, Weiley asked Uncle Whoopi, "Please don't tell my father and mother about this."
Uncle Wubi nodded: "I understand."
Walking out of Uncle Whoopi's blacksmith shop, Willie suddenly felt a little uneasy. He always felt that Uncle Whoopi was not very reliable.
At home, on the dining table.
After Mrs. Sharwin and Lakelaid worked, Willie and Vilia had prepared supper in advance.
The vegetable soup made from the remaining bones of roasted chicken, the carrot dish with a few shredded pork, and a large piece of white bread, was an extremely hearty meal compared to the original.
"I just went to the kitchen to take a look and found that there seemed to be a little less white bread."
After Mrs. Sarwin sat down, she looked at Vilia with questioning eyes: "Villia, did you steal it?"
Vilia's head shook like a rattle: "No, mother, I didn't steal food. If you don't believe me, you can ask Vilia, he can testify for me."
"Is that true? Willie."
Mrs. Sharwin looked at Willy.
"Mother, I can testify that Vilia did steal white bread while I was not paying attention. You should discipline her."
Weiley had a rigorous attitude, as if he was really persuading his mother.
Vilia widened her eyes and looked in disbelief. She didn't expect Vilia to betray her.
"Villia!"
Mrs. Sarwin had a stern face. She didn't want to educate her only daughter as a naughty ghost: "No next time, otherwise I will punish you not to have supper! As a punishment, after supper today, I will supervise you to wash the tableware."
"Okay, mother..."
Vilia was very aggrieved. She lowered her head and looked at Vilia with anger.
Willie pretended not to see it.
This was caused by Vilia's own fault. She agreed to only steal a small piece, but she actually ate so much while she was not at home. Her mother couldn't see it, so how could she not find the smaller white bread?
The dining table is a bit deserted today, mainly because of Vilia, who is usually lively and talkative, has been acting depressed.
After dinner, only Willie and Lake were left in front of the table, Mrs. Sharwin and Vilia had already gone to the kitchen.
“Willie.”
Lake suddenly looked up and looked at Willie: "Woobi has looked for me today, and he told me about your desire to be a hunter."
When Willy saw Lake's expression, he knew that he was going to be affected, but it turned out that the matter was exposed.
"Father, I..."
Willie was having a headache explaining how to explain it, but was interrupted by Lake.
Lake's eyes were not angry, and his tone was quite calm: "You want to be a hunter, I respect your choice."
"Um?"
When he heard Lake's words, Willy was surprised.
My father actually agreed to such a dangerous thing?
"I……"
For a moment, Willy didn't know what to say.
Lake looked at his grown son and felt very relieved: "I have seen your growth from a series of things that have happened recently. Sorry, I used to treat you as a child. But now I don't think so anymore. You have grown up. It's time to choose your own path. Being a hunter is a very difficult career. I hope you can persevere. More importantly, protect yourself."
"I will, father."
Willie straightened her back and looked into Lake's eyes.
Lake smiled with relief: "It has been a long time since an outstanding hunter appeared in the village. I hope you can become a respected person by the villagers."
Veri nodded firmly, as if he had thought of it again, and his face felt a little embarrassed: "But will she agree with my mother?"
"I will convince her."
Lake showed his support for Willy.
“I’ll be a great hunter.”
