Chapter 2 Douwen

Talismans, also known as Taoist talismans, talismans. Making a talisman, like drawing a painting, requires pen, ink, paper and inkstone, and each piece needs to be specially refined, and ordinary objects can be replaced.

In addition, the most important thing is runes.

Although runes are mysterious and complex, they are divided into four categories of runes according to the content: "character, seal, spell, and fight".

"用" means a talisman, which is a special word written on a talisman. Each word has a specific meaning and contains specific abilities;

"Seal" means "seal", which is a special mark left by the talisman makers on the talisman. Common forms include "fingerprints", "handprints" and "seal seals". The talisman can be preserved for a long time because of the existence of seals. To use the talisman, the "seal" on the talisman must be unbuttoned;

"Mantra" means "mantra", which is to draw a mantra on a talisman with special talismans. Each mantra contains some power, which can greatly enhance the function of the talisman.

"Dou", that is, "Tiangang Douwen", implies the reproduction rules of the world and all things, and is the key to communicating the vitality of heaven and earth. "Dou" is the most complex, including "Tai Chi", "Two Yi", "Three Talents", "Four Elements", "Five Elements", "Six Stars", "Seven Stars", "Eight Trigrams", "Nine Palaces" and other various Douwen articles. Each Douwen is a treasure that has been passed down after countless talisman-making masters comprehending the secrets of heaven and studying for many years. It can be said that evaluating the level of a talisman-making master mainly depends on how many types of Douwen he can master.

The consecration talisman that Li Muran wants to make also has these four types of runes.

Among them, low-level consecration talismans only need to draw a character and a seal, which is relatively simple. Anyone with a little understanding is willing to practice diligently and spend three years and two years laying the foundation, most of them can draw this character and a seal.

For the intermediate level consecration talisman, you have to draw a character, a seal and a spell. The additional spell can greatly improve the effect of consecration talisman, but it is also extremely difficult. After all, the spell is twists and turns, and it must be done in one go without any mistakes. Even if you practice hard for a few years, it will be difficult to do it.

As for the high-level consecration talisman, it is necessary to draw a word, seal, spell and Dou on the talisman paper! The Douwen required for consecration talisman is the simplest Five Elements Qi Gathering Douwen, but it also contains extraordinary effects. According to rumors, Douwen is not only complex and changeable, but also each Douwen is connected to the numerology of heaven and earth. When drawn, it will be subject to various potential constraints, which is even more difficult.

One thing that is certain is that the higher the quality of the consecration talisman, the better the consecration effect; and the consecration effect directly determines the level of cultivation of immortals in the future.

Over the past thousand years, only seven disciples of the Yuanfu Sect have successfully produced high-level consecration talismans. Except for one of these seven people who died young, the other six later became paranormal experts who could fly on the clouds and fog and call the wind and rain without exception.

Most of the disciples are consecrated with low-level consecration talismans and enter the path of cultivation. Among them, those who can cultivate to a higher level are rare and extremely rare.

It is already commendable to be able to draw a mid-level consecration talisman and is outstanding among the disciples, but Li Muran is not satisfied with this.

"Either don't do it, do it the best!"

Perhaps only those who have high requirements for themselves can truly achieve great achievements.

"In the Five Elements Douwen, the fire-attributed 'Open Fire Douwen' is the most familiar, and he has practiced it for more than a thousand times. This time I will draw the high-level consecration talisman of the fire-attributed chariot."

Li Muran took a deep breath, took out a silver needle and pierced the fingertips of his right index finger, and a bright red blood bead suddenly appeared.

Ten fingers connected to the heart, and the fingertips were pierced by silver needles, which naturally hurts extremely, but Li Muran did not even move his eyebrows, as if he did not realize it at all.

In order to make today's consecration talisman, Li Muran has been used to it after piercing his fingertips on white paper many times. If it weren't for this, the strong stinging talisman makers might be distracted when drawing complex runes, and all their efforts would be wasted if they were short of a problem. Li Muran was strict with himself, so naturally he would not let these details interfere with his talisman making.

In addition, the thickness of the silver needle and the depth of the fingers are also very important. It is necessary to prevent too much blood from flowing out, but not solidify. Everything is extremely particular. Li Muran tried it repeatedly to get this seemingly simple but perfect prick.

Li Muran raised his index finger and gently tapped somewhere on the first talisman paper.

This point is called "broken pen", also known as "nodding talisman", which is the first stroke of drawing runes, which is like the finishing touch of the painting and has great significance.

Li Muran's point is two inches and two minutes away from the upper edge of the talisman paper and one inch and one inch and one inch and one inch and one inch and one inch and one inch and one inch and one in error. His ability to do this is inseparable from the basic exercises of his hands, eyes and heart for many years.

After this little bit, Li Muran's index finger was flying and he quickly stroked the talisman paper.

I saw that his body and arms were as motionless as a mountain, only his right wrist was rotating flexibly, his fingers were like a pen, and he vigorously drew various strokes such as straight curved dots and circles.

Years of hard work have appeared at this moment. In an instant, a character "open" fell on the talisman paper. Just add a fingerprint seal and a low-level consecration talisman is completed.

However, Li Muran would certainly not have sealed it. After the word "open" was completed, he turned his wrist and immediately drew a very strange spell around the word "open". The spells were as messy as tadpoles, but they were connected together, which seemed mysterious.

This is the "fire spell". With this spell and a seal, it is a mid-level consecration talisman with fire attributes.

At this time, a layer of sweat had already oozed out of Li Muran's forehead, and his expression seemed quite difficult. This was very different from when he practiced on weekdays. When he made this spell, he felt that his fingers suddenly weighed a thousand pounds, and it was very difficult to use them. If it weren't for his hand power, his mental power would be of excellent quality, and I was afraid that this fire spell would not be able to successfully complete this spell.

If other disciples see this scene, they must cheer! The first piece of talisman paper can make a word and spell, and then add a seal to become a mid-level consecration talisman. If other disciples were surprised and excited, they would be very surprised.

Li Muran remained silent, his fingers were flying, and continued to draw talismans.

Now, what he wants to draw is the open fire fighting text.

The open fire fighting article is one of the simplest five elements fighting articles, with only three songs, three straights, and three circles in total nine strokes, but each stroke contains infinite mystery.

Li Muran completed the first three strokes of Douwen very smoothly, but when he reached the fourth stroke, his right hand suddenly couldn't move like a lead cast, and the talisman was interrupted.

The talisman making is important in one go. His pause caused all runes to collapse suddenly, turning into a piece of blood, soaking the entire piece of talisman paper.

Immediately, the talisman paper burned on its own, turned into a wisp of blue smoke, and disappeared in front of Li Muran.

Talisman paper is different from mortal paper. It has its own spirituality. Once the talisman is not made, the spirituality of the talisman paper will be destroyed and then destroyed by itself and cannot be re-run.

Li Muran frowned and shook his head gently.

Just as the talisman paper turned into blue smoke, his right hand returned to the same as before and everything was normal.

When practicing with ordinary paper, even if Li Muran hung a bucket full of water on his arm, he could accurately draw the dou text without sprinkling a drop of water; however, when it comes to actual talisman making, the difficulty is far beyond imagination.

Li Muran was not willing to give up the production of high-level talismans. He calmed down and rested for half an hour, and tried to make high-level consecration talismans again.

With a real talisman making, even if it fails, it can learn a lot of experience and lessons from it, which makes Li Muran more confident in his second talisman making.

Li Muran pierced his right index finger again and accurately pointed it out again.

The failure just now did not affect Li Muran's mood. He drew a word and a spell in a flowing way, and immediately began to draw the "Open Fire Fighting Text".

His solid foundation was demonstrated by the song, stroke, and movement. Just as he drew the fourth stroke of the open fire fighting text, his right arm was indeed as heavy as lead again, but this time Li Muran was prepared, and a strong surge into his arm, stabilized his wrist in time and continued to draw talismans.

This scene seems simple, but if you can lift weights like this, I don’t know how much hard work and sweat are behind it.

Li Muran did his best. Although Dou Wen only drew a few strokes, he was already sweating profusely and his clothes were wet. Sweat evaporated into mist, covering Li Muran's side. Under the shadow of the moonlight, it was like a layer of faint moonlight, particularly blurred.

"Ah!" Li Muran suddenly felt violently shocked by lightning strike. His finger, which was about to draw the sixth stroke of Douwen, couldn't help but turn slightly.

The drawing of runes must be accurate, and the difference is a slight mistake. With this deviation, the entire rune immediately collapses and turns into a piece of blood. The talisman paper also ignites spontaneously and turns into a wisp of blue smoke in a moment.

It failed again, and the impact of the invisible huge force was so strong and so suddenly, even if it happened again, Li Muran was not sure to deal with it safely.

"Even if you do it again, you will be lucky enough to complete this sixth piece of writing, and there will be three more pieces afterwards, so the difficulties you encounter will only be greater!"

Although Li Muran has high requirements for himself, he also has self-knowledge. Now there is only the last piece of talisman paper left. If he wants to successfully draw a high-level consecration talisman, the chances are slim!

To settle for the second best, drawing a mid-level consecration talisman is the safest choice at present.

For other disciples, it was already extremely satisfied to obtain the intermediate level consecration talisman, but Li Muran was unwilling to accept it.

Three years of hard work have been wasted?

"Oh!" Li Muran sighed heavily, looked up at the starry sky, calming his mind.

The night is hazy, the moonlight is like silver, and the mountains are quiet, only him, his shadow and his breathing sound.

"Huh?" Li Muran suddenly discovered that the bronze mirror he placed aside had actually emitted a layer of brilliant silver light under the reflection of the moonlight.
