171、Come on

Compared to Peter Quill who excitedly took out the elemental gun, Craft was much calmer. He stepped forward and came to the Red Skull two steps and looked at his face carefully.

"Are you really Schmidt?"

"Yes, I didn't expect to meet my fellow compatriots from Earth here."

The Red Skeleton continued to answer Craft in that erratic voice.

"I was exiled here by the Space Gem and guided others to find treasures that I could not have."

The Red Skull said, and walked forward with Craft and the others.

Everyone came to the bottom of two huge stone tablets, and below the stone tablet was a cliff that was obviously made by hand.

The Red Skeleton walked to the edge of the cliff and stopped, turned around, pointed to the direction of the cliff and said to Craft and others: "What you are looking for is right ahead... and your fear is the same."

Craft came to the edge of the cliff, stretched his neck and looked down, and saw a huge circular stone plate under the cliff, with complex patterns vaguely visible around the disc.

He took out the Infinity Gem radar and looked at it. There was still no display on it. Craft changed to other types of detectors, but found that the energy readings of the entire mountain, including the clouds above, were chaotic and disorderly, and no effective information was detected at all.

"The Soul Gem has a special place in the Infinity Gem," the Red Skull explained, "It can be said that it has some kind of wisdom. If you want to obtain it, you have to pay... the price."

"Pay a price?" Craft frowned and guessed: "Will the price you mentioned be the soul?"

He subconsciously thought of the thing called the Sage Stone in his dream. In some ways, it was quite similar to the Infinity Stone.

"Yes, it's the soul," the Red Skull glanced at Craft and then explained: "To make sure that those who own it can understand its power, the Soul Gem needs a sacrifice."

"If you want to take it away, you must lose your love... exchange your soul for your soul."

OK... it's a little better than the Sage Stone. It seems that you only need to kill one person to get...

Craft curled his lips, not to mention whether what Red Skull said was true or not, anyway, he couldn't do it as Red Skull said.

"Hahaha..." Gamora suddenly burst into laughter, "In this way, there is no need to worry that Thanos will collect six Infinity Stones, because he doesn't love anyone at all."

"Wow, so we don't have to worry about it?"

Peter Quill didn't want to go against Thanos from the beginning. He was a top-ranked existence certified by the Predator in "the object that cannot be provoked". If it weren't for the cosmic spirit ball being swept in, he would have escaped as far as he could.

"It's not that simple," Craft gave up Star Lord's eyes. "If Thanos can't collect all the infinite gems, will Thanos give up slaughtering half of the population? And... when he can catch a couple with deep feelings, father, son, and daughter, and so on, forcing one of them to jump down, and then snatch them from the other, and he can also get the soul gem."

"Shocked! Where did you come from the demon?!"

Peter Quill stared at Craft in surprise, and Gamora next to him had a similar expression.

"At a young age, he could come up with such a vicious way!"

The "vicious" Craft twitched the corner of his mouth. He could no longer understand whether these people were simple or stupid...

Rolling his eyes and being too lazy to pay attention to these two adults who were not very smart, Craft pointed to the stone plate below and asked at the Red Skull, "Can I go down and see?"

"……Can."

Perhaps it was the first time that this happened, the Red Skull was stunned for a while before answering.

However, Craft did not go down directly like this, but contacted the Cross Pioneer and jumped over from there five reconnaissance planes equipped with jealous white mice.

Tap the nanoglasses behind his ears, Craft controlled the reconnaissance planes loaded with white mice to fly down from the cliff.

Judging from the data displayed in the glasses, the vital signs of the mice in the reconnaissance plane have always been very stable.

After reaching the bottom of the cliff, Craft opened the hatch door and let them all out. The mice did not react in any special way except that they were a little uncomfortable because the temperature was too low.

“Um…”

Craft pondered for a moment, but still did not rush to go down, but continued to control the reconnaissance plane.

Both sides of the five reconnaissance aircraft opened at the same time, and two robotic arms extended from the inside. Craft controlled these robotic arms to drill and chisel against the circular stone plate below. After removing some debris from above, he jumped back to the Cross Pioneer.

Angela's mechanical body had been waiting there for a long time, putting the collected fragments into the instrument for multi-faceted analysis.

However, it is obvious that the scientific technology is not very useful for relatively empty things like the soul. The result of the analysis is that the fragments are basically ordinary stones, but the proportion of components is somewhat different from that of the earth and other planets.

But this is a very normal situation. Even on the same planet, the rock composition in different regions is different, so this is not a special phenomenon.

While Craft was making a fuss, the Red Skull kept watching silently from the side without showing any attitude of trying to stop it.

"Don't you stop him?"

Peter Quill approached the Red Skull carefully and asked in a low voice, feeling a little excited, after all, this was a conversation with the characters in childhood comics.

"My task is to guide people here to find soul gems. As for how you choose, it has nothing to do with me."

The Red Skull replied calmly.

"What if the Soul Gem is taken away?" Peter Quill continued, "Will your mission be over?"

"I don't know," the Red Skull shook his head gently, "I have been bound here for too long. If taking the Soul Gem can free me, I will accept it with pleasure."

"Then, you won't stop me from destroying this place, right?"

After flying down and taking a walk around for a while, Craft returned to the cliff, he happened to hear the confession of the Red Skull.

So he took out the fish bone rocket launcher and pointed it at the disc below.

"Wait, why did you ruin this place?!"

Peter Quill was confused.

"Since we can't find the soul gem and don't plan to exchange for other people's lives, in order to prevent Thanos from finding this place in the future, of course, it is best to directly destroy this thing that is probably the altar."

Craft replied for granted, then pulled the trigger.

The rocket roared out of the shark-shaped gun mouth, hitting the altar under the cliff and causing a violent explosion. A large pit was blown out by Craft on the huge round stone plate.

Although I knew that the altar had average defense when collecting fragments by the reconnaissance aircraft, it was still a little confused that it could cause large-scale damage to it so easily.

"Are you really sure there is a soul gem hidden here?"

Two more rockets were fired to add new scars to the altar below, and Craft turned his head and asked Gamora and the Red Skull.

"This altar was so simple that I destroyed it. No matter how you look, it doesn't look like a place with Infinite Gems..."

"That's because even if you destroy the altar, it will not affect the exchange of soul gems. As long as you offer sacrifices that meet the conditions at this position, you will be able to obtain the soul gems."

The Red Skull replied slowly.

"Don't say it earlier..."

Craft put away the fish bones and waved to Alare, who was entertaining himself.

"Alarei, stop playing, brother asks you for help if you have something to do."

Before, when Craft and the others were talking to the Red Skull, Alare, who was not interested in these, ran to the side to collect the snow and started to pile up snowmen. When she heard Craft's call, she immediately dropped the snowball in her hand and ran over.

"Good kid, good kid."

Craft touched Alare's little head, praised her, and then pointed to the ground beneath her feet.

"Come on, punch here."
