Chapter 17 girls
This is the room where Yun Luo and An Qingju live - Room 28:
Full of mystery. At this moment, everyone is blinded, breathing, fearing that the beauty will pass away. The fragrance is intertwined with the sunset, the hazy rocks, and the rough red clay under their feet. People drink it and solidify everything in front of them in the indelible memory.
The last rosy touch on the horizon was also drawn, and the sky was filled with stars. I got on the bus, and the laughter and joy of coming were gone, as if everyone was still immersed in the day's experience. When I woke up, the car had arrived at the edge of Alice Springs, and the clock passed 12 o'clock in the middle of the night.
The land in the Uluru Rock and Katachuta Rock is located in Alpark National Park, which is now owned by the local indigenous people. After countless years of hard work and negotiations, in 1985, the then-Governor of Australia brought the land to the local indigenous peoples – Yan Pants Nytjatjara and Jatjara people, which was leased to the federal government for 99 years (just like the time when Yunluo and An Qingju were rented to the British in the New Territories). Now, the national park is jointly managed by local indigenous peoples and whites, with whites serving as chairman of the board and local indigenous people serving as vice chairman.
I went back to l-caravanpark yesterday and didn’t take pictures. I got up early this morning and took photos of this hotel:
Because it is at the intersection of the stuarthighway, which runs north and south of the Australian continent and the rhighway highway to Uluru and the Valley of Kings (also known as the Valley of Kings), this hotel has a large parking lot. Outside the window of Yunlu and An Qingju's room is a parking lot. Just in front of Yunlu and An Qingju's window, a pickup truck was parked last night. When Yunlu and An Qingju got up early this morning, the pickup truck had already driven away. What a diligent Australian:
Arrived by a large tourist bus from Alice Springs, Yunluo and An Qingju took this car to visit Katatjuta (Katatjuta, English name is olags)
And Uluru Giant Rock (u Lu Breast is the name of this giant rock by local indigenous people. Its English name is K Els Rock), this car was driven by two drivers and tour guides. The tour guide was very dedicated, with almost endless wheels along the way, mouths and languages very humorous. It caused laughter from time to time. Yun Luo really didn't know where they came from. Unfortunately, because their accent was too heavy and they used local slang and local dialect, Yun Luo couldn't understand what they said:
Yunluo and An Qingju didn't get to the end. When they saw the exit of the canyon, Yunluo and An Qingju walked back, because the map showed that the road was broken only when it reached the exit of the canyon. Moreover, the tour guide only gave Yunluo and An Qingju half an hour to walk this section (Yunluo and An Qingju rushed back in time, but the latest guest was rushing back in about 45 minutes).
Yunluo discovered that not only did the people in China think that taking photos would take away people's souls very early, but it would bring inexplicable disasters to people. There were also the same taboos in foreign indigenous peoples. The row did not face cultural relics, but only faced with some signboards. For example, Yunluo wanted to take pictures of the temperature of the day and the sunrise and sunset time displayed on the signboard. Or shot in the internal yard, he was told that no! Yunluo could only take a few pictures while the managers were not paying attention.
The color of the Uluru giant rocks at dusk. There will be strange changes as the sun sets (but this change is very fast, only about 5 minutes, especially in the upper half, and the lower half is already purple, only 1 or 2 minutes, so when you take pictures, you must seize the opportunity and don’t miss this spectacular and magical time.
1 Yunluo found that on the tour buses of the Northern Territory travel agencies (including Alice Springs and Darwin) they would bring ice water in the insulation bucket. Yunluo and An Qingju could go to fill the water bottles that Yunluo and An Qingju drink at any time to fill the water. So Yunluo and An Qingju just need to bring the bottles with them, and don’t worry that there will be no water for Yunluo and An Qingju to drink after drinking it.
2 It should be noted that there are no toilets on the tour walking trail in Uluru Giant Rocks, so you have to make it convenient to the toilet next to the Uluru Indigenous Cultural Information Center and then go for a tour. After the tour, you can only use the toilet here.
3 The color of the Uluru giant rocks at twilight will undergo strange changes as the sun sets, but this change is very fast, only about 5 minutes, especially in the upper half, and the lower half is already purple, only 1 or 2 minutes, so when you take pictures, you must seize the opportunity and don’t miss this spectacular and magical moment.
1 In the morning, I bought a postcard (katatjuta photo): It is about RMB 8,
On the way back to the 2nd round of the SPN, I bought a bottle of Coke (small bottle) when I passed by Erldundaroadhou (erldundade color rtoaks), but the price was about RMB 31! It was so expensive, and I could buy it at most only 4 yuan!
I slept comfortably this morning with a very rare laziness during my trip to Australia. I slept very comfortably, but the consequence of sleeping in was that the free breakfast provided in the hotel was only one tail. Although the breakfast in the hotel was not very good, for this backpacker hotel, the room price also includes free breakfast, which is really rare. Although their room price is so expensive, it is at least a discount. It is also the advantage of their hotel over other backpacker hotels that this hotel strongly promotes (after all, generally backpacker hotels do not include breakfast).
Under the huge frangipani tree in the hotel courtyard, on the log table beside the swimming pool, Yunluo and An Qingju were eating milk, juice, fruits and bread they bought in the local supermarket the night before yesterday.
Yunluo has seen frangipani in many places in the world, but never seen such a large frangipani tree:
A few young foreigners chatting by the swimming pool – This hotel mainly lives in some young people from other cities in Australia. After all, July and August are winter in Australia. The main cities and population settlements in Australia are in the south, which is quite cold. When Yunluo and An Qingju came from Adelaide before, there was still hail there. It is also a school holiday. Many young students come here for vacation and live in this kind of backpackerlodge (backpacker hotel). After all, compared with other hotels in Darwin, this place is cheap and good, and you can use the hotel's gas stove for free for three meals. Yunluo has seen a big boy who looks like a student cooking on the gas stove in the kitchen.
Then Yunluo and Anqingju set out, headed to the seashore west of Darwin city center, exited from the lodge where Yunluo and Anqingju lived, and walked five to sixty meters north along the main street of Dawin, which was the intersection with Dalyst (a few hundred meters east from this intersection, which is the northernmost end of the famous Sturt Highway (sturthighway) that runs north and south of the Australian continent). Yunluo and Anqingju went west from this intersection, and walked about fifty meters to reach the west coast of Darwin. On the shore is a wide green belt facing the beach - ialpark (Bothenium Park), with various small attractions, observation decks, monumental buildings and other tourist facilities.
The view from the entrance to dalyst is close to the seaside green space-Ialpark (Bilce-100-year-old park):
On the north side of the sea, this entrance is a tourist facility that allows tourists to feed fish. Visitors can stand barefoot on the beach and feed the small fish that swim with the tide. However, this is open according to the tide time of the day. Because Yunluo and Anqingju set off at a relatively late location, it is almost 12:25 here, so it is very OK and you can't enter:
This kind of bird with a long beak can be seen everywhere in Australia. Its name is ibis (ibis) (which belongs to the origin of the name of the economy hotel chain "ibis", a subsidiary of the French Accor Accor Group). The name of this bird was later seen by Yunluo and An Qingju on the brand in the Royal Botanical Garden of Sydney:
Continue to walk south, hoping to walk to the famous breakwater (stokeshillwharf) on the southern coast of Darwin to see the sea. At the same time, you can also visit the famous Darwin International Convention Center (r). But after walking to the end, you realized that it is still a construction site and is building a large seaside shopping and leisure center. So now there is no other facilities except for a large ship dock operating. So after Yunluo and An Qingju walked to this ship dock, they found that there was no road left, so they could only walk back. Fortunately, the city itself is not big, and after walking back, they came to a fork. (To be continued)
