Chapter 32 Little Uncle

The three bodies were salvaged one by one and placed side by side on the lotus pond. Each limbs were twisted into a strange shape, like the curved "big" character drawn by a child who could not write with a stroke.

Baotian squatted beside the corpse for a while before walking to Zhao Zimai and whispered, "Young Master, all the bones on these three people are broken, and there is very little water in their chests. They should have been killed and thrown into this lotus pond."

"The evil spirit, there will be no one else except it." Zhao Zimai glanced at Yan Qingcheng and added, "This witch can't even protect herself, and she wants to suppress the evil spirit, which is now burning."

As soon as he said this, several servants ran in from outside the yard in a panic, all of whom were sweating, as if there was a ghost chasing him behind him.

"Second Young Master, Young Grandma, she is gone. The ropes and talismans are scattered all over the floor. The door is wide open and the people are gone." After saying that, he glanced at the three weird corpses on the ground and quickly withdrew his gaze. "Second Young Master, these people... won't... it's not that Young Grandma killed them, right?"

"Don't talk nonsense." Yan Qingcheng angrily scolded, but Zhao Zimai's face turned pale in an instant when he saw his face, and he was obviously stabbed by this sentence.

"Qingcheng." Zhao Zi took a step forward.

Yan Qingcheng raised his hand and kept up his throat for a long time before finally saying something, "Zimai, don't need to say more. I promise you that you will tell the government officials about the completion of the matter and let them deal with it. I will not... interfere anymore."

Jiayan was still asleep in the bed. He slept a little longer and did not wake up from noon until dusk.

Yan Qingcheng was a little lucky: Jiayan was sleeping so well that he would not hear any movement outside. Just now, more than a dozen government runners wanted to dig the ground three feet into Yan's house. They searched it several times, but they could not find the murderer they identified - Xiang Zhen.

Yan Qingcheng didn't know whether he should be happy or sad about this result. On the one hand, he wanted to find Xiangzhen and asked her if the bloody case that was connected to one was really caused by her; on the other hand, he hoped that she could escape far away and never be found in the mountains and rivers, even if he would never see her again in his life.

Yan Qingcheng rubbed the jade token in his palm. It was now warmed by his body temperature, and the feel was much smoother. He turned it over and looked over for a while, then sighed again, and then placed it with his purse next to Jia Yan's pillow.

"Little uncle, why do you sigh?" Jiayan woke up, opened his eyes and stared at Yan Qingcheng, with a little aggrieved in his tone, "Little uncle, where did your mother go? Where did they take her?"

"Don't worry Jiayan," Yan Qingcheng felt sad, and he stroked his forehead with his fingers, "Your mother will be back in a few days."

Jiayan pouted, "I just dreamed that the rabbit man my mother gave me was broken into pieces, and it couldn't be done well. I know that she can't come back and will never come back."

After saying that, his tears fell down like pearls with broken threads, soaking a large piece of pillow.

Yan Qingcheng hurriedly carried Jiayan into his arms and patted him gently on his back with heartache, "It's just a dream, why did Jiayan take it seriously? That rabbit is put on the bookshelf. Wait, uncle will take it for you."

As he said that, he stood up and walked towards the bookshelf. He vaguely remembered that the rabbit was placed in front of the "Xinglu Sheng Ceremony" on the third floor, but now it is gone.

"Strange, has someone put it away?" Yan Qingcheng muttered, while looking up and down the bookshelf, but the brightly colored rabbit flew away as if it had wings and disappeared without a trace.

"Isn't it?" A figure flashed in Jiayan's eyes, with a little red in the dark, like the glimmer of lanterns in the dark night.

"Has someone been put away?" Yan Qingcheng stood on tiptoe and looked up at the top of the bookshelf.

The shadow appeared behind Jiayan. At first, it seemed like a piece of steam rising, as if it was about to spread into the air. But soon, it suddenly moved closer to the center and condensed into a black figure, which was smaller than Jiayan's body, with a dark red bellyband on its head.

There is a yellow carp embroidered on the bellyband, with thin and long beards, and the two fish eyes are shining with a shiny black light, just like the shell of an old urn.

"Uncle, you can search again, and then search..." Jiayan's voice seemed to be a little more subtle, but Yan Qingcheng was concentrating on finding Tu'er, so he didn't notice it.

The black shadow passed through Jiayan's body and leaned towards Yan Qingcheng without making any sound. The red cloth flew up and down above its head, and its scarlet eyes were exposed, dull and without any anger. It was getting closer and closer, and the swaying cloth corner almost hit Yan Qingcheng's back.

"What smells so smelly?" Yan Qingcheng frowned and wanted to look back, but his elbow hit something. The thing fell on the floor and screamed desperately, "Jiujiu...Jiujiu..."

"It was the cricket I bought for you at Zhangtai." He put other things aside for the time being, bent down and picked up the cage, and put it back on the bookshelf. The little thing inside the cage seemed to be frightened and screamed loudly. Yan Qingcheng then shook his head in frustration and pretended to be angry, "Stop calling out, Jiayan doesn't like you, look, your cage is covered in dust. Oh, I should have known that the things my uncle bought for him are not as good as my mother's purchase, right? Jiayan?"

As he said that, he turned around and wanted to see what Jiayan's expression was and whether he was amused by himself. But the moment he turned his head, he was stunned. Because he clearly saw a figure passing by Jiayan's two shallow eyes, and it disappeared suddenly.

What is it?

The candlelight jumped a few times, and his heart suddenly lit up: Yes, it’s just the light reflected by the candlelight. There have been too many accidents in the mansion recently, and he will inevitably have all the troops.

"I'll give this cricket to others to play with, you don't like it anyway." Yan Qingcheng raised his eyebrows and tried his best to make a serious expression on his face.

Jiayan's eyes burst into tears again, "No, Rabbit Master Jiayan likes it, Cricket Jiayan also likes it."

When Yan Qingcheng saw him crying again, his heart suddenly became soft. He went to help Jiayan wipe away tears, "It's all the fault of the little uncle, the little uncle shouldn't tease you. Jiayan remembers the words of Jiayan: In the Yan family, Jiayan likes his mother first, and the second person he likes is the little uncle, right?"

"I haven't forgotten either." Jiayan responded, and the light in his eyes disappeared. He leaned over and pressed his face against Yan Qingcheng's chest.
