1037: Knife(1/2)

1039: Evak

1039: Evak

About twenty yards before entering the woods, there was a big tree. The Imperial soldiers happened to see two robots flashing behind the tree. They chased after them, turned over the big tree, and saw Adu and Snapier standing there calmly, waiting to be captured. So they rushed over and captured them. But the Imperial soldiers were too slow.

Fifteen Evaks jumped from the outstretched branches and quickly subdued the Imperial soldiers with stones and wood. Seeing this, Tiber—hiding in another tree— picked up a ram’s horn and blew three long signals. This was the signal of the Evaks’ attack.

Immediately, hundreds of Evakians landed in all directions onto the open space, and smashed themselves into the Empire's Storm War Land with infinite passion. Soon, the whole scene became completely chaotic.

The storm soldiers hurriedly shot at the furry animals, killing or injuring many - but dozens of others rushed up again. The accelerator scout chased the screaming Evak into the woods - but was soon smashed out of the accelerator by a heavy rain-like stone on the tree.

After the initial confusion, Joe reacted and sneaked into the leaves, while Han and Lea quickly flashed into the arch bunker on both sides of the bunker gate. The explosions around him nailed them there, and could not move at all; the bunker gate was closed and locked again.

Han pressed the button on the control board again with the stolen password - but this time, the door did not open. Not long after they were caught, the gate program was quickly redesigned. "The terminal is not working now," he mumbled.

Lea reached for a laser gun that fell to the ground, right next to a fallen Storm Warrior, but it was just out of reach. Imperial artillery fire was crossing from all directions.

"We need Adu," she cried.

Han nodded, took out his communicator, sent a sequence of commands to the small robot, and then reached for the weapon that Lea could not reach in the rain of bullets.

Adu and Snapier were crowding behind a big tree. When the little robot received the message, he suddenly let out a whistle and quickly rolled towards the battlefield.

"Adu!" Snapier shouted, "Where are you going? Wait for me!" The golden robot also quickly chased behind his best friend.

Above and around the rapidly running robot, the accelerator scouts were also galloping at Evak. Every time the bears' fur was scratched, they aroused their greater anger. They rushed over and hugged the legs of the Empire Walkers, wrapped the two metal legs with long vines, or stuffed stones and branches into high-speed rotation gears, causing the joint mechanical devices to fail; they pulled up vines between the two trees at their throats, and knocked the rushing scouts out of their accelerator; they jumped out of the branches, stabbed them with spears, and put them in nets. They were almost everywhere.

Many Evaks gathered behind Chobaka. That night he had become auspicious people in their superstition. Joe became very fond of them, and he regarded them as his distant relatives and friends in this small village. So now, they helped each other with a special ferocity. Whenever Joe saw the Storm Warrior hurt his children, he would throw the Storm Warriors around with an eloping ape rage. The Evaks followed Chobaka tightly with the same spirit of self-sacrifice, and used their bodies to hit any Storm Warriors who began to gain the upper hand.

It's a crazy, weird battle.

Adu and Snapier finally managed to reach the bunker gate. Han and Lea covered it with the laser gun they managed to get, while Adu rushed to the terminal, ***ed the computer arm, and began to scan. However, before he could even calculate the weather code, a laser hit him, shook his cable arm away, and threw him to the ground.

His head began to smolder and parts began to loosen. Then, all at once, every partition bounced open, every nozzle was smoking, every wheel was spinning-and then all stopped. Snapier rushed towards his injured friend, and Han began to check the terminal.

"Maybe I can open this thing with the thermoresistor wire," Han murmured.

Meanwhile, the Evaks had set up a primitive slingshot on the other side of the battlefield and shot a huge stone at one of the walkers—a battle machine shook violently, but did not fall. It turned around and rushed towards the slingshot while firing a laser. The Evaks spread out everywhere. When the walk was still a little too close, the Evaks cut off the vines, and two flat-hanging, tied trunks rushed out and hit the top of the Empire Pacers. This time it fell forever.

The next phase of the attack began. In the hanging light glider made of animal skin, the Evaks began to dive and throw stones or spears at the Imperial warriors. Tiber commanded the attack, but at the beginning he was hit by a laser in his arm and squeezed hard into a difficult tree root. A charger of Empire Pacers came to him, ready to stomp him into a pile of pulp with heavy iron feet. At this moment, Wicket arrived in time and pounced down, pulling Tiber to safety. But as he turned around and escaped from the Pacers' route, Wicket slammed into an acceleration car - they all rolled into the thick bush.

The battle just goes on.

The casualties continue to rise.

The same is true in the high space above: a thousand deadly melee and artillery bombings, coupled with laser beams that were methodically disintegrating the anti-military spacecraft.

In the "Millennium Falcon", Lando is like a madman driving a spacecraft into a huge, floating group of planet Destroyers - exchanging laser fire with them, dodging and surpassing belt fighters.

He shouted desperately at the communicator and spoke to General Akeba on the command ship. "I said to get closer! Get as close as possible and limit the planet destroyer to the range of close-range flat shooting - so that the Death Star cannot shoot at us unless it hits its own spacecraft!"

"But no one has ever tried to face the enemy at such a close range, between their Destroyer and our cruiser, the two super warships!" Akoba angrily yelled at this incredible idea - but their chances of choice were also exhausted.

"Good!" Lando shouted, sweeping over the Destroyer, "then we are creating a new tactic."

"We don't know much about this new tactic!" Akoba was still objecting.

"We know as much as they do!" Lando almost shouted, "and they think we know more!" In the last game, scaring is always dangerous: but sometimes, when all your money has been bet, it is the only way to win - and Lando has never lost.

"With such a close range, we can't stop the planet destroyers for how long." Akeba was already dizzy and felt about to obey.

"At least it will take longer than we resist the Death Star, and we may only attract the firepower of a few Destroyers in the fleet!" Lando shouted loudly. At this moment, a sudden artillery fire exploded one of his front cannons. He let the Falcon spin in control and advance crookedly around the huge abdomen of the Empire Destroyer.

There was almost nothing else to lose, and Acoba finally decided to try Carnethan's tactics. A minute later, dozens of anti-army cruisers began to approach the Imperial Destroyers - these huge opponents began to attack each other fiercely, like tanks only twenty steps apart, while hundreds of small fighters flew across their surfaces, chasing around the huge ship in the fierce artillery fire.

Luke and Vader were slowly circling. Luke's lightsaber was raised on his head to prepare for attack; Dark Monarch; stood sideways, ready to defend. Suddenly, he went straight into the ground with one sword, and Luke's lightsaber slashed directly downwards - and then, when Vader moved to dodge, Luke stopped this feint and stabbed the lightsaber down. Vader repeated dodging, and then pointed the lightsaber directly to Luke's throat - but Luke blocked the agile backspin and retreated. The battle of the game did not hurt at all. And again, they began to deal with each other.

Vader was impressed by Luke's speed and even happy. He almost felt very sorry that he could not let the child kill the emperor yet. Luke was not ready for it. If he was asked to kill the emperor now, he would still be able to return to his friend. He first needed more extensive guidance - both by Vader and Palpadin - before he could be ready to assist Vader and rule the galaxy.

So Vader had to guide the child through such a time to prevent him from causing harm in the wrong place—or in the right place but prematurely.

However, before Vader could think further, Luke attacked again - even more daring. He thrust forward like a whirlwind, and each strike hit Vader's phosphorescence sword with a harsh clang. With each blow to Luke, the Dark Monarch took a step back, and then he turned away, raised his lightsaber and slashed it down hard - but Luke blocked it, and once again forced Vader back. The Monarch Thurs suddenly lost balance on the stairs, rolling down and half-kneeling.

Luke stood above him, on the stairs, excited about his power. It was in his hands, and now he knew it was in: he could defeat Vader. He took his lightsaber, took his life. He took his place next to the Emperor. Yes, even this point. This time, Luke did not bury the idea; he was proud of it. He let himself go and *** its juice, to feel its power sting his cheeks. The idea excited him, with such an irresistible desire that it completely drowns all other considerations.

He has the power, and the choice is his.

Then another idea emerged, gradually becoming stronger like a fiery lover: he could also destroy the emperor, destroy the two of them, rule the entire galaxy, take revenge and conquer the world.

For Luke, this moment was profound and dizzy. However, he was not floating. He did not retreat.

He took a step forward.

For the first time, Vader realized that his son might have defeated. The power Luke gained since their first duel in the City of Cloud shocked him—not to mention the speed of the child’s reaction. This speed has been tempered into a moment of questioning. Vader did not expect this. He did not expect it, nor did he like it. He felt that after his first reaction—surprise and second reaction—fear, he slowly grew shame. Then, the side of shame rolled up, and showed unconcealed anger. Now he wanted to take revenge.

Every aspect of these things is shown by Luke, who is now overwhelming him. The Emperor, who watched the fight happily, also saw this. He instigated the young Jedi to continue to be complacent about his "darkness". "Use your sense of aggression, child! Yes! Let hatred flow through you! Combine with it and let it nourish you!"

Luke hesitated for a while—and then realized what was going on. He suddenly felt confused again. What did he want? What should he do? His brief rejoice, his dark clarity of a thousandth of a second—now, disappeared. He disappeared into a cleansing of the hesitant, indecisive mystery. He woke up coldly from a fanatical flirting.

He took a step back, lowered his sword, relaxed, and tried to drive hatred out of his life.

And at this moment, Vader attacked. He rushed up the stairs and forced Luke to retreat in defensively. The Dark Monarch hooked Luke's sword with his blade, but Luke untied it and jumped to a safe platform above his head. Vader crossed the railing and stood under Luke's platform.

"I won't fight you anymore, father," Luke said.

"It's unwise to weaken your defense." Vader warned. Now, his anger was layered - he didn't want to win if the child wasn't most fully engaged in the fight. But if victory means he had to kill a child who wouldn't fight... then he could do that too. It's just that he hoped Luke would recognize the consequences. He wanted Luke to know that it wasn't just a game anymore. It's "dark."

However, Luke heard something else. "Your thoughts exposed you, father. I feel the kindness in your heart... and conflict. You could not have killed me before - now you will not destroy me." There were actually two times before - as far as Luke's memory - Vader could have killed him, but neither. Once in the melee of the first Death Star, and once in the lightsaber fight on Besping. He also thought of Lea - thinking of Vader holding her with his claws and even tortured her - but he did not kill her. When he thought of her anger, Luke couldn't help but tremble, but he quickly turned his thoughts away. Now, this was very clear to him, despite so many times that there was still kindness in his father's heart.

Vader was really angry. He could tolerate many things about this arrogant child, but this was intolerable. He had to give the child a lesson that he would never forget. "Again, you underestimated the power of the dark side..."

He threw the lightsaber out - it cut off the pillar of the platform where Luke was standing, and turned around and flew back to Vader's hand. Luke rolled onto the floor and then rolled down the floor under another protruding platform. In the shadow of the black protruding, he was just out of sight. Vader walked over carefully, like a cat, looking for the child; but he was unwilling to enter the shadow of the protruding platform.

"You can't hide forever, Luke."

"You can only catch me when you come in." This answer was like a ghost.

"I won't give you an advantage so easily." Vader felt that his intentions in this battle were getting blurred; his evil purity was being diluted. The child was indeed smart-Vader knew that now he had to move forward with extreme caution.

"I don't want to have any advantage, Father. I won't fight you anymore. Here... take my weapons." Luke knew completely that this might be the end of his life, but let it do it. He wouldn't use "dark" to fight "dark". Maybe this mission will be left to Lea after all, letting her continue to fight without him. Maybe she knows a way he doesn't know; maybe she can find a way. But for now, he can only see two ways: one to "dark"; the other is not.

Luke put the lightsaber on the ground and leaned it towards Vader along the floor. It stopped halfway between them. The Dark Monarch reached out his hand - Luke's lightsaber flew into his hand. He hung the lightsaber onto his belt and walked into the shadow of the protruding platform with great uncertainty.

Now, he was feeling something else from Luke. He blamed himself, regretted, abandoned, and painful darkness. But somehow, these things were not directly related to Vader. With others, and... Endo Ha, it was it - Endo satellite, and his friends would soon die there, so Luke felt those things. Luke quickly understood that the dark side and friendship are different. They are completely different.

"Give yourself to the dark side, Luke," he begged, "this is the only way to save your friends. Yes, your thoughts expose you, son. You have a very strong relationship with them, especially for----"

Vader stopped. He felt something.

Luke retreated deeper into the shadows and tried to hide himself, but he could not hide the thoughts in his mind - Lea was in pain. Her anger was now shouting at him, and his spirit was calling with her. He tried to keep it out and keep it from his mouth, but the shout was so loud that he could not put it out at all, and could not ignore it at all, and had to put it directly in the shaking blue and had to comfort it.

Vader's consciousness invaded this private territory.

"No!" Luke screamed.

Vader couldn't believe it. "Sister? Sister!" he shouted loudly, "Your feelings have now exposed her... twins!" He shouted smugly, "Corobie is smart to hide her, but now, he has completely failed." His smile seemed very obvious to Luke, through the mask, through the shadow, through all the territory of "darkness". "If you don't want to turn to the dark side, maybe she will."

Then, this is Luke's last straw. Because Lea is everyone's last hope. If Vader twists his, tempting desire to turn to her

"Never!" he cried. His lightsaber flew out of Vader's belt and flew back into his hand, and he quickly opened its blade.

He rushed towards his father, with a violent rage he had never known. Neither Vader had ever known. They fought fiercely, and each time their shiny weapons collided, a dazzling spark burst out. Soon, Luke obviously gained the upper hand. They locked the lightsaber, body to body. When Luke pushed Vader backward to unlock the locked lightsaber, the dark monarch's head hit a low beam. He shook back even further and exited the low place. Luke chased after him without mercy.

The lightsaber slashed on the lightsaber, and Luke forced Vader to step back step by step - retreating to the bridge spanning the huge bottomless pit leading to the core of power. Luke slammed Vader hard, like condemnation, screaming, like pieces of anger.

The Dark Lord was beaten to kneel down. He raised his sword to block another slam - and Luke's sword swung, cutting Vader's right hand from his wrist.

The hand, with some metal, lines, and electronic devices, Katakata rolled away. Vader's lightsaber rolled across the bridge, fell into the endless abyss below, and completely disappeared.

Luke stared at his father's cut-off, twitching metal hand—and then at his own artificial hand in black gloves—and suddenly realized how much he had become like his father, like a man he hated.

He stood in front of Vader tremblingly, with the shiny tip of the sword pointing to the throat of the dark monarch. He wanted to destroy this "darkness", destroy this person who was his father, destroy this...he.

The Emperor appeared beside him, giggling with irrepressible excitement. "Okay! Kill him! Your hatred has filled you with strength! Now, complete your destiny and take your father's place next to me!"

Luke stared at his father lying under him, then stared at the Emperor, and then returned to Vader. This was "darkness" - and what he hated was "darkness". It was not his father, nor even the emperor. But "darkness" was in their hearts, and in his own heart.

And the only way to destroy "darkness" is to abandon it, forever. He straightened his body straight and made the decision that he had spent his whole life preparing for.

He threw the lightsaber away. "Never! I will never turn to the dark side! You have failed, Palpadin. I am a Jedi, just as before me, my father."

The emperor's joy suddenly turned into a tense anger. "That's it, Jedi. If you don't want to be transformed, you will be destroyed."

Palpadin raised his slender arm to Luke: the dazzling white energy flashed out of his fingers, passed through the room, then quickly pierced the child's body, and finally rushed to the floor. The young Jedi immediately felt a sensation of extreme pain - he had never heard of such an energy, such a false use of "power", let alone experience it.

"Why is the price not low?" Su Jinan smiled, "Give me an explanation, I can go back and pass the message."

"I spent eighty gold baht when I bought it. After raising it for this month, I could make twenty, even if it was a hundred integers." The madam was no longer interested in this business, so she simply spoke up and quoted a high price to scare away these little military officers who had no money.

"Is that right?" Su Jinan said lightly.

He turned around and went out. At the door, he saw Akui and several sisters coming in from outside. The two of them looked at each other, nodded slightly, and then passed.

This winter is about to pass, and in another half a month, the snow will begin to melt, and then the glaciers will thaw and the earth will revive.

Akui held the window railing, looked at the white snow outside, thinking about the seeds she dripped last autumn under the snow, and was struggling to get out. The madam said that there might be the last snow, and she was waiting for the snow, and it would be a new year after it was finished.

Every year at the end of the year, she felt a vague worry, and she felt that a disaster was coming. She didn't know what would happen to the next year, or even whether she could live for the next year. In fact, her worries were unreasonable and it was also a lot of extravagance. A woman like her was just like that in the end. But she couldn't help but beg for a year in peace. When spring came, she could wear a light spring skirt and run happily on the street.

In fact, year by year, there are nothing more than cages after another, crawling out from this and entering the next one.

"Akui, let's choose the materials together. Choose a piece of colorful colors and make a spring skirt for you." The madam called her with a smile on her face.

Behind Akui, hundreds of women gathered together, tearing a roll of smudged new silk, gestured on her body, and exchanged opinions with good relationships. Those spring onion-like fingers pointed in the crowd, and their eyes of envy, jealous or contempt flowed from one woman to another.
