878: Swordsman, really powerful(1/2)
880: One of the Guardians
Mag laughed, "Everyone wants to hide news about the man in the tower room, but this rumor has spread everywhere, from one place to another. The last time I saw the news that was spread so quickly was the visit of Prince Knodo seven years ago."
Thomas picked up an apple from the plate and jumped onto the table and sat down. While eating, he told his father about what had happened.
Tonight leaned against the counter and listened. Thomas told the whole story slightly in a slightly modified way. When he finished, Mag shook his head. "Okay, okay. Strange ships, aren't they? I hope they are not plundering pirates. We have been used to long peace. Since those brothers of Dark Paths ten years ago" - he made a gesture of contempt - "cursing their evil souls, they have caused trouble with the ghosts. I don't like to go through that chaos again, delivering all the reserves to the villages outside. I can only cook according to the things that will rot first and then rot. I can't make a decent meal for a whole month."
Smiling tonight. Mag is always able to settle serious problems and simplify them: no matter how complex they are, they originate from the dishwasher.
Thomas jumped off the tent. "I'd better go back to the barracks immediately and wait for Master Vannoon. See you later." He ran out of the kitchen.
Mag said, "Is this a serious matter, tonight?"
Tonight shook his head. "I really can't be sure. I don't know. I know Tari and Kugan are worried, and the Duke also thinks it's so serious that it needs to negotiate with the elves and the dwarves. It may be really serious."
Mag looked at the gate that Thomas had just passed. "This is a bad time for war and killing." Tonight, you can see the uncovered worries on Mag's face. He didn't know what to say to a father whose son had just become a soldier.
Tonight he forced himself to leave the tent. "I have to leave, so let it be, Mag." He waved goodbye to the other chefs in the kitchen, and then left the kitchen and walked into the courtyard. He had such a little clever academic cleverness, and the worrying and serious warnings of the Duke's MPs at the meeting made him clear. Although no one said it directly, it was obvious that the foreign ship was likely the pioneer of an invading fleet.
Tonight, he strolled on one side of the castle and walked into the princess's small garden. He sat on a stone bench, surrounded by rows of roses that covered most of the view in the courtyard. He could still see the guards patrolling the high walls. He didn't know if this was his imagination, and today's guards seemed particularly alert.
A sweet voice made him turn around. Standing on the other side of the garden was Princess Karin, Sir Ruland and two young maids. The girls were smiling secretly, and the limelight in Toyx in the castle had not passed. Karin waved her hand and signaled them to walk away, "I want to talk to Sir Toyx alone." Ruland was at a loss and his body was stiff. He glared at Toyx fiercely, turned around and left with the young maid.
The two young ladies looked at Pag and Karin and chuckled, which only added to the stimulation of Joland.
Tonight she bowed awkwardly to Karin. She said briefly, "Oh, sit down. That waste is tired and I don't bother paying attention to him."
Sit down tonight. The girl sat next to him, and then they were silent for a while. Finally, the girl broke the silence, "I haven't seen you for nearly a week. Are you very busy?"
Tonight felt a little uncomfortable, and was a little confused about the girl. She had only been with him for one day three weeks ago, and when he rescued her from the ogre, it made the city of rumors. She had always had a bad temper with everyone else, especially Sir Joland.
“I’ve been busy with my studies.”
"Oh, you've been in that terrible tower for too long."
Tonight I didn't think the tower was so scary, except for a little bit - it was a little too airy. It was his tower, and he felt comfortable there.
"We can go on horseback, Your Highness, if you like."
The girl smiled, "Of course I like it. But I'm afraid Ms. Marna won't allow it."
Tonight was a little surprised. He thought that after that adventure to protect the princess, the girl's agent mother would accept him. "Why not?"
Karin sighed. "She said you are just a civilian, and you may hold your land. Now you are a courtier, but she doubts you have any intentions." She smiled slightly.
"Are there any intention?" asked tonight in confusion.
Karin said shyly, "She thinks you are wild to continue climbing up high. And she takes it for granted that you will achieve it by approaching me."
Tonight stared at Karin. Suddenly she understood what she meant, "Oh," he said at a loss, "Oh! My Highness." He stood up, "I never thought of it like this. I mean, I never thought of it...I mean..."
Karin suddenly stood up and glared at Toyosu. "Boy! You are such a fool." She put on her long green robe and ran away like a storm.
Sit down slowly tonight, more confused than before. What was this... he tried hard to sort out his thoughts. This seemed to mean that she liked her, which made him even more worried. Karin was different from the beautiful girl like the princess in the fairy tale he imagined in the past. She stomped her feet and stomped her feet to set off a storm in the salt shaker. Once again, the whole castle would be shaken. The princess was a girl with complex emotions and two completely different personalities.
Further contemplation was interrupted by Thomas. He pulled his friend up and was almost breathless by him tonight. "The Duke wants to see us. The man who came on the boat is dead."
They hurriedly gathered in the Duke's meeting room again, only Kugan was absent, and the sender knocked on his door without any answer. Perhaps he was too involved in the study of the mysterious scroll.
Father Tari looked pale and twisted. Tonight was shocked by his changes. After only a short time of no more than an hour, the old pastor looked like he had not slept for several nights in a row, with his red and swollen eyes sinking into the dark circles. His face was gray and his eyebrows were covered with tiny beads of sweat.
Bolik opened the wine cabinet and gently filled the old priest with a glass of wine and handed it to him. Tari hesitated for a moment, he was a moderator, and then he took a deep sip. The others sat around the round table and sat on their seats.
Bolik looked at Tari and asked simply, “How is it?”
"The soldier only woke up for a few minutes before he died. During that short period of time I took the opportunity to communicate with him and entered his mind. I followed him through his last crazy dream, trying to understand him as much as possible. I barely had time to disconnect from the connection."
Tonight, his face was pale. During the spiritual communication, the pastor's heart was integrated with the communicator. If the tower did not disconnect this connection when the man died, the priest might die or go crazy together because the two people shared feelings, fear, emotions and thoughts. He now understood the almost dying expression of the tower: the old priest used great energy to keep connected with the uncooperative communicator and personally felt the pain and fear of the dying person.
Tari took another sip of wine and continued. "If this man's dying dream was not caused by the hallucination of high fever, then I am afraid his appearance would represent a harsh situation." Tari drank the last few drops of wine and pushed the cup aside. "The man's name is Aomes. He is an ordinary soldier of the Hong clan, from an empire called the Tulangani."
Bolik said, "I have never heard of this nation or an empire."
Tari nodded, "I would be surprised if you heard of it. The boat that man was riding was not from any sea in Kmir." Tonight and Thomas looked at each other and felt a chill. It was obvious that Thomas felt the same, his face pale.
Tari continued. "We can only speculate on how they did it. But I know that the ship comes from another world, a time and space far away from us." He continued before anyone could ask a question, "please let me explain."
"This man is weak in fever and his consciousness." Painful memories flashed on Tari's face. "He is one of the guardians of the glory of someone - the only 'great man' in his mind. The pictures are a little confused, I cannot be sure, but it seems they are strange about the trip they are going on, and they are accompanying for 'great man' and also carrying the mission of race. The only sure message I have obtained is that the 'great man' does not need to sail by boat.
Beyond that, I only got some broken impression of lightning. There was a city he called Yankaoro, and then a terrible storm broke out, followed by a sudden dazzling and blind glow, perhaps lightning hitting the hull, but I don't think so. Their captain and crew were thrown out of the deck. Finally the ship hit the reef." He stopped for a while. "I can't be sure if the images were real, I think the crew disappeared after that dazzling glow."
"Why?" Bolic asked.
"Don't interrupt me," Tari said. "First of all, I want to explain why I think this person is from another world."
"This Omis was built on a patriarchal continent ruled by a powerful army. They were a martial race that controlled the ocean. But which ocean? As far as I know, there was no information that mentioned those people. There was no other reasonable explanation. Great cities, far larger than those of the central cities of Kmir, were almost impossible to imagine. On holidays, the army marched in the streets, advancing in groups and waiting for inspection; the city's garrison far exceeded the king's army in the west."
Ogan interrupted, "But that doesn't mean they are from" - he stopped, and seemed a little hard to say, "Through the sea of endlessness." This seemed better than saying that it came from a world outside of this world.
Bolic said to Tari, "You just said this could be a harbinger of a harsh situation. Is it a powerful empire that has turned his attention to Kared and the Kingdom."
Tari shook his head. "Bolick, are you not your own opinion yet?" He raised his dry bone-like palms as if he was rejecting the Duke. "Forget me, my lord. I am old, tired and have forgotten my politeness. But the facts are still facts. They are a powerful race, or a civilized race, but if they want to come to us, it will be a terrible thing, but most importantly, that 'Great Man' may be a high-level magician or priest. And if he is not the only one, if there are many people in that empire who are like him, and they do try to enter our world through magic, it will be our end."
Seeing that the others at the table still showed no understanding of his hint, Tari had to continue, just as a patient mentor was teaching a group of slow-reflective students. "The appearance of this ship may be a coincidence error, and if so, it would only lead to a strong curiosity. But if it was intentionally sent here, transporting a ship from another world with magic that was beyond our imagination, we were in danger. If those people - who claimed to be Turoni - knew that we were here and were determined to come here, then, then the opponents that the great Kels would be afraid of would not be their army, but their terrible power. When they reached the remote corners of the world, we must also face those magic that was much stronger than we know."
Bolik nodded, the conclusion was already obvious, and he was about to come out. "We need Kugan to come here to discuss it immediately!"
"There's one thing, Arusha," Tari said. The prince raised his head from his chair and woke up from the thought he had just fallen into. "I know why Amysya tried to escape from you and your people. He thought you were all creatures in his world, a creature similar to a centaur called Sin, and Turoni was afraid of them."
"Why did he think so?" Ryan asked, looking puzzled.
"He has never seen horses, or any other creature. I guess those people have never seen them."
The Duke sat down again and tapped the table with his fingers. "If what Father Tari said is true, then we must make a decisive choice. If this is true, but it is only an accident that has brought these people to our shores, then we can not be so panicked. If, in any case, if their arrival is planned, we will face a serious threat. There are only a few garrisons in the Kingdom here, and the enemy will be difficult to deal with."
The others whispered in agreement, and the Duke continued, "We'd better know first that what we've said here is just speculation, although I tend to agree with most of the views of the Tower. We'll ask Kugan to analyze the essence of these people." He turned to the evening. "Young man, go see if your teacher is free to join us."
Tonight nodded and opened the door and walked through the castle. He ran to the top of the tower and ran up the stairs with two steps. He raised his hand and knocked on the door and felt a strange feeling, like approaching lightning, causing his hair and hair to stand up. A terrible feeling suddenly spread throughout his body, and he smashed the door hard. "Kugan! Kugan! Are you okay?" he shouted, but there was no answer. He tried to open the door but found that the door was locked. He rushed towards the door with his shoulders, trying to knock it open, but it was too strong. A strange feeling spread throughout his body again, and Kugan's silence doubled his fear. He wanted to find something to smash the door open, but he found nothing, and he ran downstairs.
He ran into the long foyer in panic. The guards stood there and held their posts. He shouted to the two closest to him, "You two, come with me. My master is in trouble." They followed the boy upstairs without hesitation, and their boots pounded violently on the stone steps.
When they reached the magician's door, Toyosu ordered, "Smash it open!" They quickly put down their spears and shields and hit the door with their shoulders. Once, twice, three times, the boards and door locks let out a broken moan. The last hit knocked the door panel away. The guards stopped and stepped back to avoid falling on the door panel, with a look of at a loss on their faces. Toyosui squeezed in from among them and looked into the house.
Kugan lay unconsciously on the floor. His blue robe was messy, with an arm blocking in front of him, as if defending. Two feet away was his workbench, a flashing crack hanging in the air. Tonight was staring at the place in the air. A huge gray spherical shape emitted a light gray light to form broken spectrums. He could not see through it, but there was nothingness in it. A human arm stretched out from that gray area and moved to the magician.
He touched the mage's robe, and he stopped and fucked the cloth repeatedly with his fingers, as if identifying what was made of. He continued to move to the mage's body until he identified Kugan's arm. The hand grabbed him and tried to drill back into the rift. Tonight, standing there in horror, no matter who or something was on the other side of the rift, he was trying to drag the strong mage into and through the rift. Another pair of hands reached out and grabbed the mage's other arm, Kugan was pulled towards the rift.
Tonight, he turned around and picked up a guard who was overwhelmed by the horror and leaned against the spear by the wall, aimed it at the gray space before any guard responded.
The spear flew out and passed through Kugan and disappeared into the crack. After a brief pause, the arms let go of Kugan and shrank back. Suddenly the gray crack flashed, and the vortex of air swept into it and disappeared. Run to Kugan and kneel down tonight.
The magician was still breathing, but his face was pale and covered with sweat. His skin was cold and wet. Tonight, he ran to Kugan's bed where he was resting and pulled a blanket and covered the mage, "Go and find Father Tari." He shouted to the guards.
Tonight I couldn't sleep all night with Thomas and couldn't fall asleep. Tari checked the magician and the conclusion was pretty good. Kugan was just overly shocked and could recover within one or two days.
The Duke of Bolic asked about the guards and what they saw tonight, and now the whole city was in a stir. All the guards were gathered, and the number of guards patrolling the Duchy was twice as often as usual. The Duke was not sure what was the connection between the sudden appearance of the ship and the magician's strange encounter, but for the safety of his territory, he had to be careful to prevent it. On all the walls, the torches were clear, and the guards were sent to the Longdian Lighthouse and the town to guard.
Thomas sat beside Tonight, the benches of the Princess Garden, one of the few quiet places in the castle. Thomas looked at Tonight thoughtfully. "I think it was the tula-roniers who came."
Insert a hand into your hair tonight. "We can't be sure."
Thomas' voice was exhausted. "I just felt it."
In fact, everyone thought that Alec was a fellow practitioner of Dou Qi and Magic. Alec himself did not react, and now he understood it when he heard it. He smiled slightly and gently pointed at the armor: "Let's relax your thoughts, don't be afraid after entering!"
As he said that, a red light suddenly burst out from the orc armor, and Kidd disappeared.
The two women were shocked and didn't know what magic Alec used, and the orc warrior was now walking straight away. Alec's mental power penetrated and directly let it go to the automatic mode. Immediately, the orc warrior could fly up.
Staring at the pirate ship getting closer and closer, the fighting spirit suddenly shot out, and then shot rapidly towards the pirate ship.
With a rumbling sound, the bow of the ship had disappeared without a trace, and there was not even a trace left. In a daze, Antony frowned slightly: "Is this... a magic prop?" He turned to Alec, looking at him, very surprised.
The current magic props can be said to be so few that people have some contemporary suspicion. So... ordinary people really can't find anything such powerful magic props.
Of course, Alec knew this. However, he had taken it out several times anyway, and most people would definitely not know Alec's background, so of course there was nothing to be afraid of. He nodded with a smile, which was considered an admission.
"There are...there are such powerful magic props, even the Sage of Bernie can't be created, right?" Antony was extremely jealous in her heart. People like Alec have already considered top-notch magic. Now, it's really...the law of nature is unfair!
Alec just smiled with his lips pursed and didn't say much. Could it be that she wanted to grab it? Not to mention anything else, even her own armor, she might not be the opponent.
Kidd was even more panicked with the space in the armor. There were only such an independent space, with several large screens in front of him, and he could see clearly the situation outside. For a moment, he stood there in a daze and dared not move.
The magic he had just come into contact with some time ago made him very magical. Now, such a fabulous thing has appeared, which makes him even more difficult to accept.
"Kidd... don't be afraid, as long as you stand here and watch, he will move by himself!" Alec's intermittent voice came in, which slowly calmed down Kidd's shocked heart.
The orc warriors are actually quite different from the armored warriors. Although they also have traces of fighting spirit. However, they are not as powerful as swordsmen. However, the orc warriors' skills seem to be very awesome.
On his back, he stretched out his two wings, slowly waved them, and flew towards the pirate ship. In the sky, looking at this giant-like orc armor had a great impact on the pirates.
The speed of the orcs is basically the same as that of the swordsman and the dragon. Each has its own spring and autumn, and each has its own strength. Therefore, when the orcs were just over the pirate ship, one hand suddenly became huge.
Along with that battle axe, the battle axe became particularly huge. With one axe, the ship turned into two halves. At this moment, the pirates were really scared. There were no powerful figures on this ship. What kind of powerful figures would a small pirate ship have?
Therefore, when the orcs made a fierce move, they had no way to fight against each other, so they could only shout desperately. The orcs had very powerful abilities. On their wings, feathers like steel arrows swayed and shot directly at the pirate ship below.
An aggressive voice made the pirate ship unable to fight back, let alone attacking the orcs. The situation had already fallen down. On the ship, Karulena's mouth was so wide that she was so unbelievable.
Is this Alec so powerful? He just threw out an armor and turned his disciple into such a powerful master. Although, Teacher Antony has already said what kind of magic props it is.
However, Karulena didn't know what magic props were. Such things were so powerful that his eyes were about to explode.
On the pirate ship, the captain hid in the cabin, and he regretted it and wanted to commit suicide. Looking at the wailing pirates outside and the ship that was about to sink, he didn't know what to do for a moment. He was just an intermediate magician, and compared with the orc above, he didn't even have the strength to plead for mercy.
To be continued...
