Chapter 319 Buying a Car

After burying the Silver Tomahawk, Simon breathed a sigh of relief, filled the hole again, and cleared the soil in the basement.

"Now I'll see how you find it." Simon clapped his hands and went back to sleep very satisfied.

Holding Orissa's plump body, she fell asleep quickly after a tiring night, and didn't get up until about three o'clock in the morning the next day.

After freshening up, I went downstairs. Orisa was already busy preparing lunch.

"Good morning, Olissa." Simon said with a smile.

"Lunch is not ready yet. Just wait a moment. There is some breakfast on the table. You need to rest your stomach first." Orisa said.

Simon sat at the dining table and enjoyed breakfast.

"By the way, Mr. John's housekeeper came to you just now and said that Mr. John has come back. He asked you to get up and go to Mr. John's house." Orisa stuck her head out and said.

Last night, Simon agreed to give Old John acupuncture today. Simon drank up the milk in one gulp, picked up a piece of bread and walked out.

"I'll go over now and come back later."

Simon gave Old John acupuncture for an hour and came back for lunch. The three dogs and one cat had already started eating, and Orissa was waiting for Simon.

"Eat quickly while it's still hot." Orissa opened the heat preservation basin. The lunch was very rich, mostly meat, and only a plate of fruit salad.

"So rich."

"Also, wait a minute." Orisa went to the kitchen and brought out a soup pot.

"I went to the vegetable market this morning and bought some fresh beef and mutton and stewed a pot of mutton chop soup. You can drink more." Orissa served the soup to Simon.

Simon looked at Orissa strangely, and Orissa blushed and said with a smile: "You were tired last night, so take more tonic."

"You need to make up for it, otherwise you may get **** one day." Simon said with a smile.

"What nonsense."

Simon laughed out loud. After last night's incident, the relationship between the two of them became closer, and it didn't hurt to make some dirty jokes.

Not long after lunch, Chekwin arrived. The three dogs were the first to greet him and circled around Chekwin. Chekwen quickly offered cigars to the three dogs.

"Simon, I'm here."

"I saw."

"What's in this box?" Chikwin's bodyguard moved in several boxes.

"Didn't I promise before that I would provide the robbers with cigars and fine wine? Today I brought a few boxes, but there are a lot of things." Chikwen sat down on the sofa, holding a cigar in his mouth, looking like a nouveau riche.

Chikwin took out a small notebook from his pocket and handed it to Simon.

"What is this?" Simon put down the book, took it and took a look.

Chekwin chuckled: "This is our wealth password."

I opened it and took a look. Inside was a list of some wealthy people written by Chikwin, which was much more detailed than the one he wrote last night.

"I moved back from the inner city today. I'm going to hold a dinner party tonight and invite some old guys suffering from old illnesses to attract customers for you."

"You're quite considerate of it."

"Of course, I have always been interested in making money."

"Then I'm waiting for your good news."

"Don't worry, it'll be fine."

"By the way, don't you want to buy land to build a villa? Do you want to go check out the land today?" Chekwen said again.

Simon thought about it, he just had nothing to do today, he really wanted to build a villa, it would be great if he could implement it.

"Okay, let's go, let's go for a walk."

Simon took Olisa and Chekwin out together.

The first place Chikwin took Simon to was next to his villa. He really wanted to be a neighbor with Simon.

"Look, if you buy this land, you can build a nice small manor. What do you think?" Chekwen pointed to a place next to his villa.

There are still many residents on this land. If you want to buy this land, you must first drive away the residents here.

And a little further outside is a dense residential area, and Simon is not very satisfied with this place.

"I want to find a quiet place." Simon said.

"Except for the outer city area, which has a slightly smaller population within the third ring road, the rest of the area is densely populated. There is no quiet place anywhere. It's so nice here. We can also be neighbors. We can visit whenever we need something."

Chekwin shrugged.

"Take me to other places in the outer city. If you can't find it, let me know."

"Okay, I'm fine anyway, so I'll just walk around with you."

"However, Simon, how can you go out without a means of transportation? You should really buy a steam car." Chikwen said in the car.

"Steam cars are so expensive. It's better to avoid them. And gasoline is very expensive. Who can afford it? It's better to buy a carriage." Simon shook his head.

"You are considered a rich man, why are you so stingy?" Chekwen said speechlessly.

"Once the construction of my villa starts, I will have no money."

"What are you afraid of? When our business starts and we can make a lot of money, buying a steam car is nothing."

"Let's talk about it after we make money."

"How about I buy you a second-hand one, which can be driven as well. I'll ask the factory workers to paint it and decorate the interior for you, so it's like new."

"Are there any second-hand ones? Where did you get them?"

"You don't understand this. Steam cars are expensive and burn oil, so ordinary people can't afford them. Some aristocrats in the inner city buy cars to show off their appearance, but they don't want to sell them when they can no longer use them. Some businessmen put

Take those old cars back and paint them to make them like new before selling them out.

Also, don’t the officials from the city hall always use cars when they visit us? Some vehicles are scrapped every year, and people with connections take these scrapped cars back and overhaul them, so that they can still be used and sell them to make money.”

"What's the price?"

"It's more than half the price. I can help you keep the price down, and it's even cheaper. Well, it's about 20,000. I should be able to get one."

"Twenty thousand, that's acceptable."

"Then it's settled. I'll get you a car later. Do you want to give you a driver?"

"No need, this steam car is not difficult to learn, won't you be able to do it after a few tinkerings?"

"makes sense."

The steam car wandered around the outer city for most of the day without finding a suitable place.

"Hey, where is this place?" Simon looked out the window and suddenly saw a three- to four-meter high wall standing not far away. He thought it was built by a factory or a rich man like Chikwin.

Manor, it turned out that the outside of the high wall was covered with weeds and all kinds of garbage were piled up.

"This." Chekwin thought for a while, clapped his hands and said, "This used to be a military camp. It was abandoned a few years ago. Since then, no one has lived in it, so it has become like this."

"Why are there military camps here? Aren't the military camps stationed near the city wall of Fossa City?"

"Five years ago, Xiachang District was in chaos. In order to protect the outer city and suppress the Xiacheng District, a military camp was set up here."
