Chapter 4 Silkworm God

With just a glance, Jiang Xixi quickly lowered her head and two red clouds rose on her face. Fortunately, the girl grabbed the door knocker and slowly closed the door. She looked at the rats covered with corpses on the ground, and stroked her chest in a panic. "God, what's going on? Where did these damn rats come from?" After saying that, she glanced at the blood-stained sword in Jiang Xixi's hand, "You all killed them? You made the movement just now?"

Only then did Jiang Xixi notice that her bright yellow strapless breasts had not been worn yet, revealing a piece of white breasts, so she pointed her hand gently to remind her to pay attention.

The girl glanced at her, whispered disdain in her mouth, turned around and tidyed her clothes, then turned back, "You haven't answered my question yet. You killed these rats?"

"Yes." She answered truthfully and briefly.

"Where do they come from?" She slammed her mouth and tiptoed to step over the mouse's incomplete body, fearing that her shoes would stick to the foul blood.

"They suddenly appeared in the temple and I don't know where they came out."

The girl stopped, turned around slowly, poked Jiang Xixi's shoulder with her finger, "What about you, where did you come from?"

She was very rude to say that, Jiang Xixi was naturally angry. She stared at the handsome face coldly, and didn't want to answer a word again.

The girl chuckled and showed her white teeth. "Yeah, I'm angry. I'm not old and have a big temper." After saying that, she bent over and bowed, "Miss, where did you come from here? What's the price to do when you come here?"

Her voice was still as frivolous as ever, but Jiang Xixi was not familiar with the place and did not want to argue with her anymore. Moreover, her purpose is to find someone now. Judging from the girl's tone, she should be a local, so she could just ask her if she knew Fan Qingfeng.

Jiang Xixi cleared her throat, "I came to Tamsui Town to join my friend. His name is Fan Qingfeng. I wonder if the girl can deny it."

"Fan Qingfeng?" The girl finally looked at Jiang Xixi seriously for the first time. After looking at her for a while, she smiled with her shoulders, "I recognize it, but he has been dead for many years."

Hearing this sentence, Jiang Xixi's blood was cold. She widened her eyes, "Do you think it's true? Fan Qingfeng is really dead?"

"Really, more true than real gold. He is my father. I just went to visit him for grave a few days ago. What you said is really not true." After saying that, she casually played with a strand of hair on her temples and then asked, "How could you recognize my father? With your age, he had been dead for several years when he was born. Could it be that he met through a dream?"

He was still as sharp as ever. When he mentioned his own father, he dared to joke. Jiang Xixi shook his head and sighed, "The person who recognized your father was not me, but mine...brother."

"Your brother? Who is that?"

Jiang Xixi quickly took Cheng Muyou's letter out of her clothes, thinking that it was okay. Although the bag was taken by the horse, the letter was at least not thrown away. She handed over the letter, "My brother said that your father would naturally take me in for a while after reading this letter, so I came all the way."

"Have you committed a crime? Is it a court criminal?" She looked at Jiang Xixi with her eyes slanted a few times, and she shrugged her shoulders, "It's not like it. The half-grown little girl doesn't have the ability to even want to rob the court." After that, she turned her head, spread the letter paper out, and read it line by line.

After reading it, the frivolous touch on her face disappeared. She tilted her head and looked at Jiang Xixi's face for a while. She slowly folded the letter paper, twisted her waist and walked out of the hall, "Follow me."

"Go? Where to go?" Jiang Xixi hurriedly followed behind him and asked.

The woman turned her head to look at her, "Aren't you here to surrender to my house? Where else can you go if you don't go home with me?"

Danshui Town is a small town surrounded by mountains and rivers. The town has a long and narrow landform, like a water snake embedded between the Nanzhou River and Qinglun Mountains. The people in the town only engage in two kinds of fortifications: raising silkworms and growing tea. The tea gardens all over the mountains and fields that Jiang Xixi saw were the industry of the residents of Danshui Town.

The girl walking in front of the road is named Fan Qingfeng, who is the daughter of Fan Qingfeng. She also has a sister named Fan Yin. They are twin sisters. After Fan Qingfeng passed away, his wife raised the two sisters with a few acres of tea gardens, and life was really difficult.

Fan Qing told her all. After hearing her say that, Jiang Xixi subconsciously touched the wallet around her waist. Fortunately, the adults gave her a lot of money, and at least she didn't have to eat and live for free. Fan Qing also noticed her actions and became much more polite to her while speaking.

The two walked on the steam-steamed street one after another. Jiang Xixi saw many people opening their doors and taking straw mats to the door. The straw mat was covered with white cloth and covered with mulberry leaves, green, crisp and tender, and looking around, it looked like green fields.

"Is it to feed silkworms?" she asked Fan Qing.

"No, almost every household here raises silkworms. The little thing likes to clean and the leaves are not washed or sunny. They will definitely get sick. It is harder to serve them than to serve people." Fan Qing snorted coldly.

"However, this is a tradition, and the townspeople should have gotten used to it."

Fan Qing shrugged, "That's true. The history of silkworm raising in Tamsui Town is probably hundreds of years old. Do you know what the temple you took shelter from the rain just now is called? It is the Silkworm Temple."

"Silks Temple?"

"According to legend, the Silkworm God passed through Shu and found that all things had withered and the people were not possessed. So he stayed here for a few days, teaching the people in Shu to raise silkworms and grow tea, and gave them cocoons and tea seeds. Since then, Shu has become a rich land."

"So the people here built that silkworm temple to commemorate the silkworm god? Is it true or false?"

Fan Qing pointed Jiang Xixi's forehead and said, "Is your brain abnormal? Is this kind of question also asked? Of course it is fake. There are fewer people who farm here and more silkworms grow tea. It's just because the climate and terrain are more suitable. What does it have to do with the gods?"

Jiang Xixi smiled embarrassedly, but muttered to himself: You have never seen ghosts and gods before, which does not mean there are no ghosts and gods in the world. You also say that I am a half-sized child, I think you are a child who is ignorant.

Just as I was thinking, my feet suddenly sank, and a furry thing jumped onto her shoes, then rushed to the wall with force, and walked slowly forward along the corner of the wall.

Jiang Xixi looked closely and found that it was a white cat. It was light and sporty. It was walking along the cat and turned a corner on the street corner and disappeared.
