Chapter 9 Destined People

"I'll go in and take a look." After hearing Fan Yin say that, Jiang Xixi walked towards the Yu family. She forgot that she was here to take refuge and was no longer a female constable. She just wanted to go in and investigate the matter clearly.

"Hey, how could you break into someone else's house without authorization?" Fan Yin followed behind and grabbed her.

Jiang Xixi then remembered his identity, smiled awkwardly, and was about to step down the steps with Fan Yin, but at this moment, the door of Yu's mansion was opened again, and more than a dozen servants walked out of it in a row, each holding a stack of trays made of bamboo. The tray was covered with spots of blood. From a distance, it looked like a mouse's green eyes.

"This is a tray for raising silkworms. Look at this, all the mulberry silkworms should have been eaten by mice," Fan Yin shook his head and sighed, "But where did so many mice come from? They can bite all of them to death. Also, the Yu family has raised more than a dozen big cats. Why do these mice dare to do something here?"

As he was speaking, a figure sitting on a four-wheeler appeared inside the door. He stared at the trays dyed with silkworm blood, his face pale and his eyes were filled with sadness.

"Why don't you hurt? Why don't you come out without putting on a piece of clothes? It's strong wind at night, so be careful of catching a cold." Fan Qing, who had been silent, walked into the yard with her legs and feet neatly, and the gentleness in her eyes was almost overflowing.

"You are here too," Yu Wushang smiled bitterly on his face, "It seems that the Qingmeng in the whole town has disturbed the Yu family's affairs."

"What the hell is going on? Why did so many mice suddenly come?" Fan Qing was a little anxious.

"Come in and have a cup of hot tea, I'll tell you slowly."

As he said that, Fan Qing pushed the four-wheeled cart to the depths of the house. Jiang Xixi seized the opportunity and pulled Fan Yin forward in three or two steps, "We are also a little thirsty. Can we ask for a cup of tea?"

"This girl seems to have never seen her before." Yu Wushang looked at Jiang Xixi who was drinking tea and smiled slightly.

"She is...well...one of my distant cousins, come to Tamsui to stay for a while." Fan Qing said first.

Jiang Xixi guessed that Cheng Muyou must ask the Fan family to not reveal their identity to others in the letter, so he hurriedly smiled and nodded on the side and said yes.

"What the hell is going on? I'm so anxious, I'm not hurt. Tell me the truth quickly." Fan Qing put down the teacup and asked with a frown.

Yu Wushang was about to speak when a servant walked in outside the door, holding a half-person-high sack in his hand, and blood oozed out of the bag.

"Young Master, what should I do if these cat corpses are? Can I just throw them away?"

Yu Wushang's eyelids drooped and bit his lip, "Take it in the mountains and find a piece of land to bury it. After all, they have been for the Yu Family Security Institute for so many years."

The servant said yes, and turned around and wanted to leave with a bag. Yu Wushang called him behind, "How is mother-in-law? Are you scared?"

"The old lady is asleep and has not woken up yet. Don't worry, young master."

Fan Qing stood up from the chair, her pair of peach blossom eyes widened, "So many cats are all dead?"

"Tonight, the old slave who was watching heard something strange in the silkworm room, so he carried the light to check it. Before he could reach the door, he found that the dozen cats raised by the Yu family were all dead by the door, and each of them had their necks bitten. Walking into the room, he saw that each silkworm room was covered with dense mice, devouring mulberry silkworms frantically. What's more strange is that when these beasts saw him in, they were not only not afraid of people, but also ran towards him and bit off one of the old slave's nose on the spot."

Fan Qing was so scared that she rubbed her arms, "So many mice are so disgusting."

"Then how did these mice be driven away?" Fan Yin was calmer than her sister.

"This is even more strange. According to the old slave, he ran towards the inner courtyard with his bloody face. The mice were chasing behind him. They rushed in, like the river water at high tide. But suddenly, they were like they received some command, their feet were upright, their ears were raised, and then they retreated collectively. In a short while, there was no trace of a mouse in the entire courtyard."

Jiang Xixi's eyes turned: Isn't this scene exactly the same as what he encountered? It seems that these mice are indeed instructed by something every time they attack, but, what is this thing? Is it a silkworm?

"Can it be a silkworm?"

Immediately someone helped her to explain what she thought. Fan Qing had already walked to Yu Wushang and held his hand as if no one was around. She was like a frightened little bird, urgently needed comfort from others.

Yu Wushang was obviously also touched by this weakness. He patted Fan Qing's back twice, and his pale face was filled with a faint smile, "Don't be afraid, Silkworm is just a legend after all. Once it spreads to ten thousand times, it becomes more and more evil. I think it is this old slave who is scared, so he is a little confused when speaking. Don't worry, even if there is a rat disease now, we have ways to deal with it. There will never be a big epidemic like more than ten years ago."

It was already the second day of the day when he walked out of the Yu family. Jiang Xixi and Fan Yin stepped on the stone road, making a crisp "cracking" sound.

"Why are Sister Fan Qing different from us?" She stared at her shadow, and once again showed the way Yu Wushang looked at Fan Qing. His eyes were full of love but pure as a pool of quiet water. He saw the bottom, without any blasphemy.

However, he took her as a treasure, but she stepped on his sincerity in the mud.

Fan Yin smiled with her lips pursed, "You can't tell, they are the ones," she put her two fingers together, "Everyone in the town knows."

"Then what she does when she stays in the Yu family? After all, she hasn't gotten married, so it's always bad to not return all night." Jiang Xixi lowered her head and stared at the upper.

"It's because the man is Mr. Yu, so there is no gossip. You can see that he is a legless person, so what can he do? So when they are together, Fan Qing accompanied him to talk and read books all night. Don't think too much."

Fan Yin said this lightly, without any irony, but Jiang Xixi felt very uncomfortable in his heart: Yu Wushang and no woman could tell gossip. This is the fact that the people in Danshui Town agreed, but sometimes, these habitual things can hurt people even more. In people's subconscious, he is a man who is not a man. This kind of thing is just a certain fact for others, but to the person involved, it is probably like a blunt knife. Although he cannot cut it, it is as painful as it is to rub it in his heart.

However, he still accepted it and turned these innate discrimination into a calm smile, which he often hangs on the corner of his mouth.

"Last time you said that flowers like Mandalahua will bloom only when they meet someone destined to be. In Tamsui Town, only Mr. Yu can pick them. What does this mean?"
