Chapter 9 Opening
A strong wind suddenly broke out in the open space in front, and the wind slowly turned into a shallow vortex, with a few black things mixed in the center of the vortex. Cheng Muyou stopped moving and looked at the strange scene vigilantly. Suddenly, the vortex changed direction and rushed towards him. After smelling a strong smell at the tip of his nose, Cheng Muyou avoided sideways, but Shi Fei behind him did not dodge, and only heard him shouting "What," and then fell to the ground. Cheng Muyou and Shi Jin quickly ran to Shi Fei. They saw him moaning in pain, pulling his face hard with both hands, as if they wanted to tear their faces apart.
Cheng Muyou bent down and tightly wrapped his hands around Shi Fei's arm, trying to stop him from being crazy, but he broke free. He suddenly spitted and shouted at the at awkward Shi Jin, "Brother, stab my face with a sword, hurry up."
Shi Jin stood there blankly as if struck by lightning, looking at Cheng Muyou for a while, and then looking at his younger brother curled up on the ground and moaned. The sword in his hand gently waved a few times, and then hung on the ground like a rooster with a broken head.
"Brother," Shi Fei's roar became louder, with tremolo mixed in it. You knew he was suffering extraordinary pain as soon as you heard it. "Do it quickly, otherwise my life will be explained here today."
Shi Jin's body twitched suddenly, as if it had finally come back to the smell. He raised the sword high, but the force was soft when it fell down. The sword edge stroked Shi Fei's face a few times, but he still couldn't make up his mind to cut it down.
"Save me...Save me..." Shi Fei raised one hand and cried, his voice full of fear and despair.
Shi Jin's hand holding the sword was caught by Cheng Muyou. He pressed the back of his hand and stroked downwards, then the second and third...
The people on the ground groaned and stopped moving.
Cheng Muyou wiped off the sweat from his forehead and said to Shi Jin with a serious expression: "Take him back home quickly, and immediate treatment will not leave too deep scars."
When Shi Fei woke up, it was already dawn. He got up from the bed and saw Cheng Muyou sitting next to him with a serious look on his face. He reacted for a while before he remembered what happened last night, so a carp sat up and leaned his hands into his face in panic. When his fingers touched the layers of white cloth wrapped around him, he shivered and looked at Cheng Muyou's eyes again, like a helpless child.
"I helped you use the best golden sore medicine and Qilin dying," Cheng Muyou stood up and walked to the bedside. The care in his eyes was obvious. "Scars are inevitable, but they will not be particularly serious. You can't see them carefully. It's just that you haven't married yet, and this injury may have an impact on your marriage..."
After hearing his words, Shi Fei breathed a sigh of relief. He owed his body slightly and bowed to Cheng Muyou with his fists. "What is more scars on his face worthy of me. If the adults hadn't saved me at a critical moment, Shi Fei would have been desperate to sit here long ago."
Cheng Muyou smiled loudly and patted his shoulder a few times, "It's a man, why don't a real man have no wife? Don't worry, I will definitely try my best to help you find a good marriage, but," he paused a little, "What exactly was the one who attacked you last night?"
Shi Fei's body shook suddenly, and he clenched the bed sheet, as if it needed great courage to recall what happened last night again.
"That thing smells like carrion, and it's slippery and covered with mucus, but," he covered his mouth and retching, and then continued, "It's not completely smooth, there are bulges, as if it's covered with small feet."
"Is there any other characteristic?" Cheng Muyou stared at Shi Fei's eyes and took another step closer.
"It was a ball when it flew over, but it spread out on my face and turned into long lines."
"Wire?"
"Well," Shi Fei swallowed heavily, "It's like a bug, but it's different. The head of that thing is very sharp. When it comes to flesh, it's desperate to drill in, as if it wants to drill into my body, and it hurts so much." Seeing Cheng Muyou thinking, Shi Fei couldn't help but ask softly, "Sir, Zhu Wuer... how is it?"
Cheng Muyou's eyes dimmed, "He is dead. I'll go to the Zhu family after I settled you down, but that child is no longer able to do it, and even his body is sent to the iron railing."
Shi Fei clenched his fists, "Damn it, then all the children in the city were killed by this thing, and there was no epidemic at all."
"We can't make a conclusion so early. After all, we didn't see with our own eyes how Zhu Wuer got sick. The Zhu family only said that he went out to have a small leniency and fell into a coma after he came back. What is the reason is unknown." Cheng Muyou stood up and looked out the window. The sun had already come out, but the rising sun was shrouded in smoke and looked dim and bleak.
A burst of "crackling" firecrackers suddenly sounded in the alley, and Cheng Muyou frowned and pushed open the window: "What's going on?"
"Sir, the embroidery shop at the door has opened, so it's so lively early in the morning." The servant outside quickly responded.
"It opened so early. Didn't it meant that it would take a few days? I was thinking about buying a few fans for my younger sister." Shi Fei continued, as if he had forgotten that his face had to be with a few scars for life.
"Sister Xi, what's the sound?" Xun'er opened her eyes and turned to look at Jiang Xixi sitting by the bed. This was the first sentence he said since he returned home. From last night to now, he had either been silent or had his eyes closed and he was sleeping. He was completely different from his usual eccentric appearance.
Jiang Xixi was delighted, "Xun'er, are you hungry? Do you want to eat? No, drink some water first, I'll pour it for you."
"What's the sound?"
"Do you want me to call your dad over?"
"What's the sound outside?"
"Xun'er..."
"What's the sound?"
"Xun'er, where are you going?"
Xun'er sat up from the bed, lifted the quilt and walked out the house. Jiang Xixi stretched out his arm to stop him, but he pushed it away. He walked out of the house, walked through the front hall, and walked out of the door.
The firecrackers have not yet been burned, and the beating red mixed with the snow-like catkins, making it difficult for a moment to tell whether this is reality or a dream of nothingness.
A smile appeared on Xun'er's lips. The little redness made his heart feel assured that he had not had for a long time. They little by little thawed the coldness left by the girl on his body. The cold that had trapped his body and thoughts, making him like a walking zombie.
Not far away, a slim figure walked towards Xun'er. The man was holding a collar woven by red thread in his hand. She looked at Xun'er with a smile, "You are the first guest of Jihong Embroidery House, can you give this to you?"
