Chapter 607: The Truth
It turned out that three years ago, due to the severe drought in Wuji Kingdom, the king began to seek Dharma everywhere and ask capable people and strangers to come and rain for the people. At that time, when he first met the green-haired lion, he already knew that his identity was not an ordinary mortal.
The green-haired lion told him that he was waiting for the visitor to the sutras under the order of Manjushri Bodhisattva and should not have disturbed others, but when he observed the Wuji Kingdom, he saw a strange aura shrouded in the country. He thought there were monsters here, so he contacted the king.
The king didn't know what monsters were here, so he was very grateful to ask the Qinghai Lion to subdue demons and eliminate demons for him and ensure the peace and stability of the country. The Qinghai Lion followed the demonic spirit and walked all the way to the palace and stopped before the queen's bedroom.
When the green-haired lion heard the crying sound of a woman in the bedroom, he asked the king: "Who is this?"
The king's face suddenly changed drastically and ordered people to bomb the green-haired lion, but how could the green-haired lion be driven away by them? He waved his hand and flew out of his arm, turning into a golden needle, and inserted it into the acupoint of every guard who ran towards him without any error. They all fell to the ground.
Then, the green-haired lion ignored the king who was already scared and pissed open the door of the bedroom. What caught his eye was a delicate woman tied up by iron chains.
The woman raised her head gently, and two lines of tears overflowed from her eyes, and her eyes were emitting a faint light that was different from ordinary people.
A green-haired lion immediately thought of something, that is, transforming into a demon. The monsters that aroused by human resentment can devour people's hearts and turn people into monsters. He took a deep breath, stepped into the bedroom, and came to the woman.
The green-haired lion asked, "What's your name?"
The woman replied: "Wanyu."
"Wanyu..." The green-haired lion whispered the name softly and said in a low voice: "What a nice name."
Wanyu stared into the eyes of the green-haired lion and asked, "Are you here to kill me? Or come to save me?"
The green-haired lion touched Wanyu's hair with his hands, but in an instant, Wanyu's whole body turned black, the kind of black that even the light was swallowed. The green-haired lion hurriedly took two steps back. He saw Wanyu start to struggle and shake the chains loudly. She seemed to want to break free from the chains, but the chains were surprisingly hard and did not seem to be ordinary chains.
Wanyu let out a painful howl, which was completely a sound that only monsters could make. With heart-wrenching pain, it became even more miserable and sad.
Just when the green-haired lion wanted to go forward to help him, his back suddenly hurt and he saw a sword stretching out from his chest.
It turned out that the king took advantage of his inattention and pierced the sword through the green-haired lion's chest. When he found that he could not kill the majestic lion spirit, he was so scared that he rolled out and ran out. The green-haired lion gave him a needle with his back hand and inserted it on the back of his neck. The king fell to the ground with a "thump".
The green-haired lion wrote a Buddhist seal on her hand and then hit Wanyu's body. The black surface of Wanyu's skin began to be suppressed, and finally until the black fell, she returned to her normal human state.
"Who are you? Please, kill me." Wanyu said to him crying: "It's too difficult for me to live. I just want to die and meet my lover."
When the green-haired lion saw her crying heartbroken, she couldn't help but feel a sudden surge of sympathy and sadness in her heart. For the first time, he felt sad and pity for a human woman. He asked, "Can you tell me what's going on?"
Wanyu looked at the back of the king who was lying on the ground, with red eyes and gritted her teeth and said the unbearable past.
It turned out that Wanyu was sold to the palace by her parents. Because she had someone she liked, she sweared to death. However, the king was cruel and ruthless and sent someone to beat her to death, which made her bones break, leaving her without even the strength to commit suicide. Later, Wanyu was locked in this room.
Later, the king asked her to have something to do from her mouth, so the king sent someone to find Wanyu's childhood sweetheart, made the meat on his body into food, and asked Wanyu to eat it every day. When the meat on his body was almost eaten, the king finally took his head to Wanyu and told her the truth.
It is at this moment that the transformation of demons was born.
After that, Wanyu never ate or drank, but miraculously did not die, because at this time she was no longer a human being.
After hearing this miserable past, the green-haired lion almost killed the black-hearted king, but he still couldn't do it because he would not hurt other people's lives by the enlightenment of Manjushri Bodhisattva.
So he asked the king to leave Wuji Kingdom, the farther away, the better, and never come back. He himself stayed here while waiting for the arrival of the Buddhists, while trying to save Wanyu's soul, let her let go of her hatred and reincarnate as soon as possible.
However, Wanyu's hatred has not been reduced, but has increased more and more. As well, the love of the green-haired lion for her. For the transformation of demons, he only needs to kill her, but he has not been able to do it. This is the problem and the cause of all evil deeds.
The king said that after he left Wuji Kingdom, he met Manjushri Bodhisattva and said that he would go to Baolin Temple to spend some time, and something unusual would happen. The king thought it was a good thing, but that night, he was thrown into the well by several black-hearted monks and went to Jinglong Palace.
After hearing what he said, the little hooligan was so angry that he was itchy. He asked, "So were you killed by the green-haired lion?"
The king nodded: "He finally couldn't hold back and killed me."
Hei Bai Wuchang, who was standing aside, did not show any big reaction after hearing this, because they had seen too many evil people like this, and the world is hell, and this sentence is true. Bai Wuchang said, "You have finished speaking, come with us, the eighteen levels of hell are waiting for you."
The king cried and begged them to let go, saying that they could give them all the gold, silver and jewelry in the palace, but how could the ghost messenger be bribed by him? They dragged the king away mercilessly.
Faced with such a thing, the little hooligan felt very deep inside. When he faced such a dark reality, he was actually not prepared at all. He was a child. However, he understood more clearly why he had to go to the scriptures. In order to reduce such pain in the world, the Buddha would spread the scriptures of saving the world to the world.
"If Buddha does not save people, they will save themselves." The little hooligan said to himself, and then walked out of the palace to find Zhang Yang.
As a scholar who seeks the scriptures, he wants to really try it out, whether he can overcome the resentment in Wanyu's heart.
