Chapter 109: The First Strategist of the Three Kingdoms (Part 1)! Fifty months

If we recognize Cao Cao as a hero of a generation, the person who truly defeated Cao Cao in strategy and admired Cao Cao himself was Jia Xu. Jia Xu could be called a powerful strategist in the Three Kingdoms. This is from two aspects. The first is the strange and accurate strategy of his strategy, and the influence of his plan is worthy of being the first strategist; the second is because he is the most typical powerful artist, unlike Zhuge Liang who is the prime minister, focusing on governing the country and ensuring national security, nor is he like Zhou Yu to take on the responsibilities of generals and commanding troops. Jia Xu has no intention of becoming a warlord who holds troops and dominates the country. His identity is always behind the scenes. He keeps flashing out from behind the scenes of a general. On the surface, he is offering plans, but often achieves the effect of planning.

Jia Xu gives people the feeling that he is like an aestheticist who regards strategy itself as a kind of beauty and only pursues the display of strategic talent: as long as his strategy is useful, he does not care about the change of color. He gives advice for Li Jue, Guo Si, nor does he really want to assist them. The reason why Jia Xu resolutely commits himself to Zhang Xiu's tent when he clearly sees that Zhang Xiu has no bright future is simply because Zhang Xiu can obey his words and enable his strategy to be displayed.

In the late Eastern Han Dynasty, ethics could no longer maintain people's hearts. People who shouted loyalty and righteousness often held the banner of loyalty and righteousness and pursued what they wanted. While individuals were morally deviant, they had to face turbulent times. In this turbulent times, individual lives were not guaranteed, warlords fought, foreign tribes plundered, robbers were rampant, and natural disasters continued. In such an era of changing colors, all morality had to give way to the needs of survival. And these contradictions were especially true in the birthplace of Jia Xu, Wuwei, who was born in Wuwei,

The ground is sharp and prominent. The Wuwei in Xiliang is in remote places, the moral norms of benevolence, righteousness and ethics are weak. The struggle with nomadic peoples and the mixed life experience, and the test of the severe living environment is that Jia Xu will not care about those morals that have become hypocritical. His strategy only focuses on survival, and takes the survival of him and the people around him as the ultimate righteousness. Because without spiritual constraints, he can gallop and show his strategic talent. It is in this spiritual freedom that his strategy has reached the extreme of conservative change.

Jia Xu is a star in history. With the character and talent given by the times, he unconsciously destroyed a dynasty system full of devastatedness. If the old system is not destroyed, new individuals and personal spirits cannot be born. We cannot simply evaluate Jia Xu, a strange man, with a moral perspective. He is like a person who plays in life in troubled times. He pursues power, but protects himself carefully; he has no real feeling for any force, and looks at the vicissitudes of the world with a cold look; he regards displaying his talents as a pleasure, watching events develop as he expected; you can say that he is ruthless, but in that era, Jia Xu had reason to choose to be a bystander and an aestheticist power player.

Jia Xu has a brilliant mind, extraordinary courage, complex experience, and profound ambitions. There may be various things in his qualities that others cannot reach, but in terms of objective effects, he could not refuse the world's chaos in the late Eastern Han Dynasty. When Chen Shou wrote the "Three Kingdoms", he wrote Jia Xu and the two most prestigious Xuns (Xun Yu and Xun You) who were under Cao Cao's command, which aroused the dissatisfaction of the annotator Pei Songzhi. This matter is different. I think if we put aside moral prestige and focus on the depth of influence on the world, it is not improper for Jia Xu and the two Xuns to be on the same side.

Although Jia Xu often boasted of himself as a loyal minister in the Han Dynasty and did make contributions to the emperor, he was obviously more keen on indulging his talented strategist talents, and less concerned about fame and fortune for thousands of years. In the melee of warlords from various warlords, during the journey from Chang'an to Luoyang, and in the bloody killing of the two capitals of the East and West, we can all see Jia Xu's wisdom.

After Dong Zhuo's death, Situ Wang Yun was tyrannical. Wang Situ was just a mediocre person, and he didn't know how to be polite and abused. He killed Cai Yong, the literary tycoon at that time, as soon as he came to power, he got a brief respite. Dong Zhuo's subordinate generals Li Jue and Guo Si. If Wang Yun took the attitude of eliminating evil and never asking about it, these two guys with military power would become naturalized in the court. In this way, the heroes of Guandong who rose up to attack Dong Zhuo did not know what to do with their commandments.

, it may also be power and sack. Although Chinese history will be a little dull when entering this chapter, it is a great blessing to the country and the people. The stubborn and unscrupulous Situ Wang Yun issued a chasing order to Li Jue and Guo Si. Only Li Jue and Guo Si of the Feixiong Army wanted to accept their fate, but they decided to disband the troops and flee to the northwest themselves. If this happens, although Wang Yun is extremely unwise, he has not sowed evil after all. The Eastern Han regime can be temporarily delayed.

At this time, Jia Xu fell out of his shadow and expressed his views. Li Jue and Guo Si respected Jia Xu for always respect, so he listened with politeness. Xu said, "I heard that Chang'an's proposal was to kill all the people of Liangzhou, but the lords abandoned the people of the people of Liangzhou alone, and the head of a pavilion could restrain the king. It would be better to lead the people to the west, withdraw the troops, attack Chang'an, and avenge Dong Gong. Fortunately, he helped the country and conquer the world. If he did not help, he would not be late."1

Chen Sheng and Wu Guang were forced to "rise up" back then, and the reason he held was the same as Jia Xu's idea at this time. The difference was that whether Chen Sheng, Wu Guang, Li Jue, or Guo Si were all involved, while Jia Xu was completely an outsider. In other words, although this suggestion could save Li Jue and Guo Si's life for a while, it would not be beneficial to Jia Xu at all. Otherwise, when Li and Guo succeeded and wanted to sign Jia Xu as "Shangshu Pushe", he would not have insisted on refusing. "How can this life-saving plan be done?

? "Jia Xu said it quite well. In June of the third year of Chuping, Li Jue and Guo Si broke the city of Chang'an, Wang Yun was killed, Lu Bu fled, and the corpses were everywhere in Chang'an. It is said that when Dong Zhuo died, there were still hundreds of thousands of households in the Sanfu area. After Li Jue and Guo Si's robbery, in just two years, the people had "eat up all" and were very miserable. A plan could jeopardize the country and a few words could chaotic the country. This was what Jia Xu said. He was behind the robber who killed people, and seemed to be amiable scholar, while committing a heinous crime.

While he was able to successfully avoid the criticism of thousands of people, who could match this ability? Look at him as a wanderer who flashed in a certain prince to make plans. He even dared to let Cao Cao take the opportunity to be a disadvantage. Although he was young, he was also called "a good and peaceful and strange man. At first, he checked Xiaolian as a man. He resigned from his post due to illness and returned to the west. He met the Di people (nomads) on the road, and he and dozens of people who were with him were captured by them. Jia Xu lied to them and said, "I am Duan Duan grandson, don't bury me, my family will redeem it."

The Grand Marshal Duan Yi, who was a general in the border area for a long time, was so powerful that he was Duan Yi's nephew. He scared the Di people. The Di people did not dare to harm him. He even sweared with him and sent him back. The rest of the people were killed. 2 Historically, Jia Xu's move was: "Power is used to help things, and all of them are like this." 3. The word "quan" is used quite appropriately, and Jia Xu is unfathomable. Letting the robbers bend over, relying on wisdom alone will definitely be useless, and relying on courage is too general. Jia Xu is also full of domineering aura.

As General Fu Bo said, "In today's world, not only the king chooses ministers, but also the ministers." ④. As the "post-Warring States Period" of Chinese history, the criteria for choosing a master of the Three Kingdoms are no different from those of the pre-Qin intellectuals who were ripped out of the world. Therefore, Xun Yu, Guo Jia, Dong Zhao and other advisers abandoned Yuan and joined Cao one after another, but Guan Yu did not do anything to the master. Zhuge's brothers were in Eastern Wu, and Shu Han were all loyal. If this is a general example, Jia Xu provided an exception: Liu Biao and Zhang Xiu who surrendered to him one after another were actually quite despised in his heart. Duan Wei respected Jia Xu on the surface but was afraid of Jia Xu because Jia Xu was "famous" and had a high prestige among soldiers. Duan Wei was afraid that Jia Xu would lose the master. Jia Xu left

Duan     The timing and reasons for Wei are also very subtle. Xu said: "Wu is suspicious and has a sense of jealousy. Although the etiquette is strong, he cannot rely on it. He will be happy for a long time. I will be happy when I go there, and I hope I will make great help from outside and I will be grateful to my wife. Xiu has no planner and is willing to get Xu, and then the family will be complete." ⑤ The result is not bad at all. As for Liu Biao, Jia Xu's evaluation is also accurate and mean: "If the world is peaceful and peaceful, Liu Biao can be ranked among the three ministers. However, in the chaotic world, he is so unstoppable and doubtless that he is destined to be a mediocre person." Jia Xu had the best relationship with Zhang Xiu. As early as in Chang'an, Zhang Xiu intended to win Jia Xu over to the tent. As soon as Jia Xu came to surrender secretly, he immediately obeyed his plans.

What's strange is that the reason why Jia Xu fled to Zhang Xiu was not only because Zhang Xiu's arms were welcomed, but also because of this judgment: "Zhang Xiu, a headless master." With Jia Xu's talent, he still resolutely committed to Zhang Xiu's tent, and the pearls were thrown into the darkness and the dragons were wandering in the ravines. This is quite speculation about Jia Xu's true intention. He likes strategy, and he needs a battlefield where his talents can roam. If strategy is a kind of beauty, and he connected with the bad idea he gave for Li Jue and Guo Si that year, Jia Xu happened to be understood by us as an aestheticist: as long as his strategy has a place to be useful, he will

It doesn't care about the change of color. Seeing this, Jia Xu surrendered to Zhang Xiong instead of Cao Cao, Yuan Shao was the most natural thing. Cao Cao had many counselors, and he himself had many plans. Jia Xu was destined to be a strong man there; Yuan Shao seemed to be powerful, but he was a man with great ambitions and talent, and had a strange and fatal weakness: he would not accept any strategy that was beneficial to him; Liu Biao would not talk about him, and Yuan Shu, who liked to be an emperor, lacked the morality of a humble corporal, and Jia Xu was destined to be unable to live calmly. Jia Xu had a grudge against Lu Bu, and Liu Bei, who was so fashionable and weak, was certainly unable to reach Jia Xu's vision, and Liu Bei had always had a close relationship with Lu Bu.

Everyone mentioned the defeat that Cao Cao suffered in his life, and he would not mention "When the Wancheng fights Zhang Xiu", which was also the most miserable battle Cao Cao lost. The eldest son Cao Ang and the caring general Dian Wei were killed one after another. The "Jueying" of Dayuan's good horse he rode, also killed an arrow, which was extremely embarrassed. There is no doubt that Cao Cao actually lost to Jia Xu in this battle. Jia Xu later won Cao Cao one round. Although that battle had no strategic significance, it was extremely magical. It could be allowed to make Cao Zhuo a textbook and study it carefully.

The Cao army retreated, and Zhang Xiu was eager to make contributions and was eager to lead the army to chase. Jia Xu stopped him one after another, but Zhang Xiu refused to listen. The unscheming Zhang Xiu would inevitably think: to fight Cao Cao, but he could force him to retreat. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. If you don’t take advantage of the victory, you will kill him, and when will you wait? However, if you don’t listen to the advice of the counselors, you will be doomed to fail. Zhang Xiu’s pursuers were killed by the troops behind Cao Cao’s palace. They lost a lot and fled back in a panic. Xiu said to Xu: “No need to say anything, you will be defeated.” 6 Zhang Xiucheng

He apologized to Jia Xu. Xu said, "You can now gather your troops to pursue him again." Xiu and Ping said, "I have been defeated now, how can I pursue you again?" Xu said, "I will win a great victory now; if not, please kill me." Xiu Xin said, ⑦ The second pursuit, Zhang Xiu was very successful and killed Cao Cao to defeat the army. Not only was Cao Cao extremely puzzled by his failure, but Zhang Xiu and Liu Biao also asked Jia Xu for advice on why the victorious army failed, but after the failure, he chased him again and won. Jia Xu said, "This is easy to know.

Although the army is good at using troops, it is not the enemy of Cao Cao. Even if Cao's army is defeated, it must have strong generals as the back hall to prevent pursuit of troops. Although our army is sharp, it cannot be defeated: Therefore, we know that we will be defeated. If Cao is eager to retreat, we must have something to do. After defeating our pursuit army, we will return lightly and no longer prepare. I will pursue him even more: therefore we can win. "⑧ The reason why the Three Kingdoms are wise is that Jia Xu is the one who has been in trouble. When Cao Cao and Yuan Shao defeated the princes one after another, the world has not become peaceful, but the situation has become much clearer.

Under the clamping of Cao and Yuan's two giant claws, whether to surrender to Yuan Shao or Cao Cao became an imminent matter for Zhang Xiu. The reason for surrendering to Yuan Shao seems to be self-evident. One is that Yuan is strong and Cao is weak, and the other is that Zhang Xiu had a grudge against Cao Cao for killing his son. So, when Yuan Shao took the initiative to send an envoy to surrender, Zhang Xiu, a person without vision, invaded and surrendered to Yuan Shao. Jia Xu suddenly flashed from behind the scenes and said, "Thank you Yuan Benchu for your kindness for me, and convey this again."

In the same sentence: A person who cannot even be compatible with his own brother Yuan Shu cannot accomplish great things. General Zhang respects and thanks Bumin!" Zhang Xiu was shocked: "Justice is now strong and Cao is weak; now he destroys the book and scolds the envoy. If Yuan Shao arrives, what should he do?" Xiu said: "I have a grudge with Cao first, how can I be compatible?" Xu said: "There are three things that come to Cao: Cao is in accordance with the emperor's imperial edict and conquers the world. It is better to follow the same one; Shao is strong and strong, and I will follow him as a young man, so I will not pay attention to me.

Although Cao is weak, I will be happy to get it. It is better to follow two. Cao     The ambition of the king and king must relieve their personal grievances and to make virtue clear in the world. It is better to follow three. I hope the general will undoubtedly be." Xiu followed his words and asked Liu Ye to meet him. Ye praised Cao De and said, "If the Prime Minister remembers his old grievances, how can he ask someone to make good generals?" Xiu was very happy and went to Xudu with Jia Xu and others. Xiu saw Cao and bowed to the steps. Cao hurriedly helped him up and held his hand and said, "If you have any minor mistakes, don't remember them."

"Then he named Xiu as General Yangwu and Jia Xu as the envoy of Jinwu." Sure enough, Cao Cao was so happy that he had completely forgotten the deep hatred he had with Zhang Xiu back then, and personally led the crowd out of the city to greet him, giving Zhang Xiu extremely high courtesy. The reason why Jia Xu was willing to take risks was that he correctly understood the situation in the world and saw through Cao Cao's inner thoughts. Such a brilliant strategic decision was rare in the Three Kingdoms era, and Jia Xu deserved to be the first strategist of the Three Kingdoms.

At this point, Jia Xu's life channel entered another relatively calm sea. Although he was one of Cao Cao's counselors, he still offered advice from time to time, especially in the process of Cao Cao's conquest of horses and Han Sui, Jia Xu made an incredible contribution. But overall, the meaning of his fading out of the world is becoming increasingly obvious. For the Cao father and son, Jia Xu could have made extraordinary contributions: Cao Cao and Cao Pi successively attacked Eastern Wu twice, both ended in failure, and the Battle of Red Cliff even hurt Cao Cao's vitality. Jia Xu had both foreseeed the opportunity and advised him, but Cao Cao was not aware of the current affairs and failed to adopt Jia Xu's suggestions, which directly led to military failure and created conditions for the three-legged tripod.

Jia Xu has always kept a low profile and said nothing easily. In his later years, Jia Xu was extremely obedient. He stayed in his door and refused to interact. In order to prevent others from suspicion, he handled the marriage of his children and tried hard to avoid joining famous families. This shows Jia Wenhe's clear understanding of the transformation of power, and the so-called great achievements in the township lord is the reason. Despite this, in the process of Cao Cao's establishment of the crown prince, in the process of Cao Pi and Cao Zhi's brothers fighting for power, he stood by Cao Pi.

Jia Xu from the border still played an important role in his strategy of making a big move. When Cao Pi, who was the general of the Five-Secrets, asked Jia Xu for advice on the prince's favor, Jia Xu said: "I hope the general will respect morality and support the simple scholars, and will work hard day and night, and will not violate the Tao of the son." This seemingly unrealistic big talk made Cao Pi change his mind from then on, and he finally won Cao Cao's favor.

Cao Cao also deliberately shut down everyone and asked Jia Xu for advice on the matter of Li Tai. Jia Xu looked embarrassed and deliberately refused to answer. "Why did the sir know but didn't say anything?" Cao Cao asked again, "No, I just suddenly remembered two people." "Who?" "Yuan Shao and Liu Biao". Jia Xu not only made extraordinary strategy, but also was not good at dealing with the relationship between father and son." Jia Xu answered casually, and perhaps the final establishment of the Cao Wei regime.

It played a decisive role. As we all know, Yuan Shao and Liu Biao failed to properly handle the inheritance issue, so they made their brothers flee after their death. Jia Xu showed Cao Cao's lessons in the past, and finally made Cao Cao decide to make Cao Pi the crown prince. Such a subtle and sonorous citation argument is many times better than hard work. Jia Xu's strategy has reached the state of "the masts and oars are destroyed in the middle of chatting and laughing."

When Emperor Wen of Wei Cao Pi was in power, Jia Xu, who was in power for the great contribution, was entrusted with the important task of Taiwei. However, Jia Xu was old, and he was just like a big hermit hidden in the court, still living a peaceful life. The world is yin and yang, and the fruits are unpredictable. This evil sowinger and the keen strategist of strategy finally passed away safely with a respectable expression at the age of 77. According to the standard of "a person who is over fifty years old" at that time, "life is rare in seventy years old", Jia Xu is truly long-lived than Nanshan Mountain.

As a strategist, Jia Xu truly took the pursuit of perfection as his responsibility. He followed the situation, judged the situation, achieved changes in power, followed the heavens, and chose a wise ruler. Survive in the cracks and was at ease, submitting to the arrangement of fate and achieved changes in power, until a good end. Jia Xu's attainment in power and strategy can be said to have reached the state of unity between man and nature. It should be pointed out that Chen Shou was close to the troubled times of the Three Kingdoms, could feel and understand the unmoral spirit of the times of that era, and to that era.
