Chapter 222 The Prince's Policy!

Regarding Cao Cao's understanding, as his son, Cao Chong and his identity as a time traveler, you can roughly take a look at Cao Cao's personality in the Three Kingdoms.

Coupled with his observations of Cao Cao in recent years and Xun You's seemingly purposeful words, Cao Chong began his journey to the prince.

To become the prince, one naturally had to do practical things. Cao Cao seemed to have intentionally asked himself to handle government affairs, so he found a reason for his health and moved to Tongquetai.

If you say you are in poor health, Cao Chong is half-believing and half-doubting.

But at least you can rest in the palace, right?

Where is Tongquetai?

The Tongquetai is where Cao Cao secretly hid his beauties.

From the records in "Biography of Empresses and Concubines of the Three Kingdoms", we know that Cao Cao first had Mrs. Ding, Mrs. Liu, and Queen Bian.

In addition, from "Biography of the Prince and Duke of Wu Wenshi", we know that there are also Mrs. Huan, Mrs. Du, Mrs. Qin, Mrs. Yin, Wang Zhaoyi, Sun Ji, Li Ji, Zhou Ji, Liu Ji, Song Ji, and Zhao Ji. The reason why these people can be recorded in history is because they (except Mrs. Ding) gave birth to a total of 25 sons for Cao Cao, and of course there are women who have no sons.

Cao Cao said in "The Remaining Order": "My concubines and wise men all wear bronze lords (sparrows) platforms. They put eight-foot beds on the terrace hall, and the tents of the ears and tents on the trunks. When the moon is fifteen, they always make tricks on the tents.

The meaning of this passage is: After I die, my concubines and geisha live in Tongquetai. A bed of eight feet is placed in the hall of Tongquetai, and a tent with ears is hung. Dried meat, dried fruits, dried rice and so on both the food and the food are served. On the 15th day of the lunar month, we must sing and dance to the tent.

Let me explain it here.

Jieyu (sounds like Jieyu), the title of emperor and concubine.

Cao Cao was the King of Wei. In addition to the queen, his wives and concubines had five levels: wife, Zhaoyi, Jieyu, Rong Hua, and beauty. Here, he called Jieyu and Jieyu, indicating that Jieyu was inferior to Jieyu, and his status was not much different from that of Geisha. In addition to singing and dancing, Geisha was also Cao Cao's tool to vent his desires.

The above-mentioned six Ji, including Sun Ji and Li Ji, who are under Wang Zhaoyi, are all concubines below Jieyu.

The Tong Juetai, namely the Tong Juetai, the two characters "Jue" and "Que" were commonly used in ancient times.

Chaochong (pronounced non-pronunciation), refers to two meals in ancient times. The ancients adopted the two-meal system. The first meal was called Chaochong, which was eaten at Chen hour (7-9 am); the second meal was called Hanchong, which was eaten at Shen hour (3-5 pm). Jiao (pronunciation), dried meat, dried fruit, etc. (pronunciation), dried rice.

For Cao Cao, the Tongque Tower is like a brothel for literati, who is cultivated and rested?

Isn't this funny?

Rather than saying that Cao Cao went to recuperate, it was better to say that he was looking at whether Cao Chong had the ability to govern the country.

It is a mule or a horse, so it is finally a walk. It is natural that Cao Chong is the prince, and the prince is the chief of the country, and it is originally one of the responsibilities of the prince.

With such a heavy burden on his body, Cao Chong still couldn't figure out Cao Cao's bottom line.

Cao Chong is much more aggrieved than Luoyang Marquis.

The most difficult thing in the world is probably the prince.

However, since he became the crown prince, Cao Chong would of course make achievements seriously.

Becoming the crown prince is also time to show your future direction of rule.

Just like every head of the later Chuanghua family, when they succeeded to the throne, they wanted to express their ruling program.

It is like the three representatives, like the scientific view, like the dream of planting flowers.

Cao Chong is naturally no exception.

First of all, Cao Chong restored people's livelihood and advocated frugality.

In addition to the original Luoyang Hou Mansion and the original buildings of the Prince's Palace, Cao Chong did not intend to add palaces, and the usual food and clothing cost was simple, and there was no extravagance in the court.

Of course, Cao Chong can only take care of himself and the court officials. For example, if he is Boss Cao, Cao Chong can only give advice.

Now the boss of Wei State is not himself, and he still needs to find his positioning correctly.

Having said that, Cao Chong is so frugal, of course he is for others to see.

In the past, the Luoyang Marquis Mansion and the current Prince's Palace, all the industries they control are profitable industries, and there are countless wealth generated every day. It is not an exaggeration to say that Cao Chong is the richest person in the world.

To be the prince, frugality must be done well. The hearts of the people and the hearts of those officials must be comforted.

A wise ruler is not necessarily a wise ruler, but a wise ruler is basically a thrifty ruler.

This is the first point when Cao Chong calmed down, and the second point was to reduce taxes and put forward a policy.

This policy is somewhat similar to family planning in later generations, but its effect is the opposite, and it is the same as the European policy to promote childbirth.

Any couple who have more than two sons will reduce the tax by half for every extra son. Of course, at most, only 20% will be reduced.

In other words, after giving birth to six sons, there is no subsidy for this policy.

As for why the tax reduction is only for giving birth to a boy, it is not because Cao Chong is gender-discriminatory, but what he needs now is a man.

In the late Eastern Han Dynasty, when wars were frequent, stronger men were pulled over to join the army, generals died in hundreds of battles, and soldiers fought for a lifetime. Over time, the ratio of men and women in society has been unbalanced.

Not to mention that even if there are not enough women in Kyushu, they can still buy a poisonous body, and Persian women come to be their wives.

Now, because of frequent wars, the total number of people together is probably only over 10 million.

There are too few people in this huge world.

There is so little that even Cao Chong's ambition cannot be supported.

Only when the population is larger will productivity increase, the army will have sufficient military resources, and society will have conflicts.

That's right.

You heard it right.

What Cao Chong wants now is the bursting of social conflicts.

When social productivity cannot afford to support people with this era, social conflicts will arise.

This is a large part of the reason for the change of feudal dynasties.

But this is just the way for the previous feudal dynasties to resolve conflicts.

In the early days of the dynasty, the political and people were harmonious, and this contradiction was the driving force for Cao Chong to conquer the outside world.

Is it not that the urbanization process in later generations that the countryside can no longer support people, and in order to survive and live a better life, countless farmers flocked to the city to contribute to the urbanization process?

Similarly, only through external plunder can society continue to develop, just like Portugal, Spain and Britain in later generations.

Then people will not be restricted by the shackles of thought. Everyone advocates adventure, open up territory, be appointed as kings and ministers, and make achievements.

Instead of wasting the talk to convince the stubborn, it is better to create a general trend to promote them yourself.

Moreover, even if the population is too large and the foreign war is not going well, Cao Chong can completely increase the yield per mu of crops to feed the extra people.

Cao Chong will not let it get out of control for the ambition that bursts out in his heart.

This is the second point Cao Chong did.

Whether it is to reduce taxes or increase the population, it is all necessary to do at this stage. If Cao Chong's policy is issued, among the people, his own people will naturally rise to a higher level.

If incense can become a god in this era, it would not be possible to become a true god with Cao Chong's policy, but a demigod is definitely a good thing.

The first two points made Cao Chong gain countless expectations, and at the same time made the position of prince under his butt become more stable.

But if it is completely stable, it is naturally impossible.

So Cao Chong has two steps below.

The first step was to cut the soldiers and let them go home to give birth to farmland, but the treatment of soldiers in the military increased by 30%. Cao Chong did not value culture over military power as the Song Dynasty as the Song Dynasty.

In addition to Cao Chong's ambitions in his heart and there were enemies around Wei State, more because Cao Chong wanted to please the generals.

When generals fight, the trust of the king is the most important thing. If the king does not trust you, no matter how good your literary talent is, it will be a place where heroes are useless.

How many generals were distrustful because of the king's distrust and finally died of depression?

Cao Chong's actions revealed a very obvious signal to these generals.

I, Cao Chong, will not treat you martial artists unfairly.

In this way, the warrior's heart was naturally taken away by Cao Chong.

When a warrior calms his heart, the second step is naturally to win the hearts of a literati.

The main representative of literati is aristocratic family.

Thanks to Boss Cao's operations, most of the power of the aristocratic family has been lost. Most of the aristocratic families in the court are also worried, so how dare they oppose Cao Chong?

If it were before, when the power of the aristocratic family was strong, although Cao Chong would not have foolishly built a nine-grade Zhongzheng system like Cao Pi, he would probably still have to give in.

And now, Cao Chong doesn't have to give in.

Cao Chong's actions to attract scholars were to worship the Confucius Temple, to improve the treatment of scholars, and to select many talented children among the poor families, to make them the prince's sanctuary.

The so-called prince's servant is the person beside the prince, who is a follower and can usually become a good official in the future.

Jiuqing is not a dream either.

Cao Chong took this action.

The originally literati group, compared Cao Chong and Cao Cao, was judged immediately, and even more surrendered to Cao Chong.

As for the imperial examination system, Cao Chong only implemented it in Luoyang under his jurisdiction and the prince's fiefdom.

He wants to try the reactions of these ministers first.

Of course, before giving these policies, Cao Chong asked Cao Cao for instructions, and he issued these decrees after he agreed with Cao Cao.

Although Cao Chong's wings are a little harder now, he still needs to have a self-knowledge.

Time flies.

Five months have passed after Cao Chong's policies, coupled with other miscellaneous policies.

It was a peaceful day for five months.

For Cao Chong, it was a busy, but fulfilling and fulfilling five months.

But Cao Chong knew in his heart that such a peaceful life would never last too long...

Cao Chong has done so much in the past five months, and their actions have been brewing enough, right?
