544 Artistic sacrifice

Lan Li felt very lucky. First he met "I am fighting cancer", this work gave him a new understanding of performance and opened a new door; then he met "transcendence", which gave him a different interpretation of art and touched a higher level of performance. Although he is still a little blurred now, he can only feel the difference vaguely and cannot say a reason, but obviously, "transcendence" is not just a graduation exam for expressive acting skills.

Faced with Tony's question, Lan Li did not immediately answer. The past ten days, just ten days, were not enough to give him a profound and comprehensive understanding of the Bronx, but enough to give him a preliminary understanding of the story background and soil of "detachment".

"Grey." This is the first thought that came to his mind. Strictly speaking, this is not an adjective, but the word that suits the Bronx best.

Lan Li carefully discussed, "There is no hope in their lives. To be precise, they don't even know what hope is. Surviving and living is their only idea. As for what happiness is, what happiness is, and what beauty is, they know nothing. This comes from the family, from the school, and from the reality given to them by society."

Some people may say, why do they not know how to receive education? This is the only way out? Why do they not know how to fly far away and leave such mud to seek the future? Why do they not know how to resist and accept reality foolishly? The answer is actually very simple, because they really can't see it. In their lives, survival is already difficult enough, and as for the others? That is all unrealistic.

It's like trying to make a three-year-old baby who is toddler but cannot eat, learn to pursue freedom. In the innocent eyes, there is only confusion. This description is a bit cruel and a little cold, but it is the fact that hope and freedom are meaningless for these teenagers in the Bronx.

After a pause, Renly's thoughts returned to "detachment". "I think this is why the character Henry was born. His heart was dead. He was trapped in the same abyss as the students. He clearly knew their numbness and confusion, and empathized with them. But at least once, he had hope and happiness. He knew what it looked like. He tried to save them, in the way of education, within his ability."

He couldn't help but sigh softly, and Lan Li's mouth was outlined with a light curve, with a hint of bitterness, "But how can a person who can't even save himself become a hero for others? Just like a society where he has already rotten, how can he awaken the fighting spirit of the people to move forward?"

The difference between film and art is that the film focuses on Henry and tells his pain and struggle; while art focuses on education, with the communication between Henry and three female characters as the core, tells the sinking and gloomy of education. The same script, the same theme, is interpreted in different levels and depths in the hands of different directors; of course, in the hands of different actors, it will also interpret completely different textures and echoes.

Tony was stunned for a while, staring at Lan Li blankly, and suddenly burst into tears. Lan Li really understood his creative core intention, even more thorough and profound than screenwriter Carl. This is really incredible! The ups and downs of emotions always have a sense of déjà vu, and then nodded fiercely, unable to say a word.

When he chose Renly and gave up Adrian, who had made great achievements, and Adrian, who was just right at the age, Tony might not have hesitated and hesitated, but in the end he still believed in Renly's performance texture and Woody Allen's vision.

Now, Tony finally felt relieved. Before the computer was turned on, Lan Li had already won his trust. The touch of being unable to find a friend was surging violently in his chest, and finally turned into tears at the corners of his eyes and laughed brightly, "Yes, yes." Tony nodded repeatedly, expressing his affirmation, "I think your experience life can be over. Go back and rest for a few days, and then prepare to turn on the computer."

As a bystander, Tony was heartbroken when he looked at Lan Li in front of him. His sloppy and dirty appearance seemed to have not taken a shower for ten days, and his body exuded a sour smell, and he could even see some flies flying beside him. If the audience saw Lan Li, they would be so scared that they could not speak.

"Fast and Furious 5" is still being released in full swing, but Lanley has sacrificed so much for the new drama. This dedicated attitude deserves Tony's highest respect.

But as the party involved, Lan Li waved her hand indifferently, "Since it has started, let's stick to it, it's not a few days away." The hardest time has passed, and in the next few days, he can see more different faces of the Bronx.

It’s like when filming the “Pacific War”, Lanley met Tim Barnes, who had experienced two wars. Unfortunately, due to the shooting schedule, he was unable to have a deeper conversation; he also failed to make friends with the deceased Eugene Slache. These worlds extending beyond the script are the most wonderful part of the actor’s life.

Limley is more aware of the ups and downs of life every day than anyone else. Just being unable to take a bath is enough to make life worse than death. If he can, of course, he is willing to lie in his apartment and enjoy the holiday comfortably; but in comparison, the Bronx outside the script and the Les Miserables outside Henry is more attractive to Limley.

In fact, he enjoyed it.

Looking down at his dark black hands, his fingers were filled with dirt that could not be washed away. Lan Li showed a "disgusted" expression and raised his eyebrows gently, "What I need the least now is a mirror, otherwise I wouldn't know what I would do."

The self-taught and self-dislike look made Tony laugh happily, and in the end he could only shake his head helplessly, "Then you just enjoy the experience of a homeless man. For me personally, I'm going to go back now, lie on my sofa chair, drink a glass of whiskey, and watch the junk TV show, and enjoy this night."

Lan Li looked back at the street behind him. During the conversation, night had already fallen, and the neon lights on the roadside began to light up one after another. The hazy and blurry halo supported the faint blue night sky. "Do you need me to escort you to the parking lot?"

Tony lowered his head and pointed to his worn-out shirt, his collar had been grinded; his sloppy pants, his folds seemed to have not been ironed for a while; his dirty leather shoes, I don't know if they were playing outside on rainy days, "Don't worry, no one wants to rob me. To be honest, I only have fifteen dollars on me, I don't mind giving them all to a guy who is desperately needed."

"Then I wish you good luck." Lan Li did not continue to be polite, "Fortunately summer has come." Life is relatively less severe and urgent than winter, and the crime situation in the city will be slightly better. But it is just a little "slight".

After saying that, Renli nodded to Tony and then picked up his burlap bag, left Starbucks singly, thinking about the important questions about where to sleep tonight.

Last night, a homeless man sent an invitation saying that there was a party in an abandoned house tonight. Although it was not stated clearly, it was obviously a /drug/product party. Renli had no interest in /drug/product, but was seriously thinking about whether he should be exposed to information in this regard. Go and see if there are underage teenagers; of course, maybe you can find a roof nearby to stay for one night.

Tony was still sitting there, watching Lan Li's figure drift away, and finally disappeared into the colorful neon lights, and his mood became excited with difficulty. Now, his expectations for the movie "Deliverance" are getting higher and higher, and his creative enthusiasm has been burning. I wonder what kind of surprise will Lan Li bring when standing in front of the camera?

After drinking all the remaining coffee in one sip, Tony left Starbucks and walked towards his parking position. Then he found that all his car tires had been stolen, leaving only an empty rack in the parking space. He had to call the insurance company, then called the trailer, and finally chose to go home by the subway.

But even so, his good mood was still not affected.

Time passes quickly, and in a blink of an eye, the day for "transcendence" to be officially started. For Tony, for Lanley, for the crew, this means that he has to work again and artistic creation again; and for some young people, it means... the opportunity to work with top actors has arrived. Just thinking about it in the mind, the palms and soles of his feet have started to sweat constantly.

Exhale, exhale; exhale, exhale.

In normal times, this is the simplest and most ordinary movement, but at this time, Sammy Gayle found it extremely difficult. You could clearly feel the heart contracting and expanding violently in your chest. The violent and disorderly beating hit your chest and causing a faint pain, and even the rhythm of your breathing was completely in chaos.

She raised her hand and touched the blood vessel behind her ears. The frequency of the beating was really scary, as if every muscle in her body was pulled. She couldn't help but open her mouth wide, breathing in big mouths, then pinched her fist hard, jumped in place for a few times, trying to calm herself down.

But, this is not an easy task.

She just turned fifteen at the beginning of the year, and "detachment" was only her first film work. Although she had appeared in two TV series before, not the first time she faced camera lenses, the situation this time was completely different, and the cast lineup included
