Chapter 1 A Cup of Wild Life

The wilderness, a place that civilization has not yet reached, follows the most primitive rules of nature, exuding a breath of cruel and wild charm.

Everything from mountains, grasslands, lakes, and ecology constitutes the most basic wilderness land. Wild beasts bring vitality to the wilderness. Of course, for those who are thrown into the wilderness by their families, they also mean danger.

Xiyang Town, an ordinary town on the junction of human civilization and wilderness. It is said that it is a small town but it is just a boast of the residents of the town. According to the standards of the human empire, Xiyang Town, with a permanent population of only 200 people, can only be regarded as a village.

The criminals who were desperate to escape from the wilderness, the children of nobles who failed to compete and entered the wilderness and tried to make a last try, and the wilderness hunters who made a living by hunting wild beasts, created the abnormal prosperity of the sunset town.

The wilderness tavern is the main beneficiary of this abnormal prosperity. Criminals drink braised wine here, nobles drink bitter wine here, and wilderness hunters regard this place as their second home.

A year ago, there was a black-haired and black-eyed bartender in the wilderness tavern. His name was Zhou Mo.

A white rag was scrubbed against the black wooden counter by an ordinary hand. The stains caused by the spilling of rum and red beer were wiped away by difficulty, and Zhou Mo meticulously cleaned up his post.

It is early morning, and the hangover drunks are still sleeping soundly. There is no business in the tavern. The owner of the tavern, the red-bearded uncle, will take a quarter of an hour to come. There are only Zhou Mo in the tavern that is hundreds of square meters.

After finishing his last bit of work, he looked at the tidy tavern that had become again, Zhou Mo exhaled a breath of turbid air and glanced at the drunkard lying on the ground outside the tavern, and his black eyes lit up.

Before Zhou Mo's future, the rule of the Red Bearded Uncle was that all the guests who were drunk in the tavern would throw them out of the tavern after closing at midnight. At dawn, the Red Bearded Uncle who came to open the door would kick them up and use a loud voice that could wake up the whole town to ask them to come in and continue drinking or get out.

After Zhou Mo came, the rules were still the same, but there was an extra process in the middle.

Walking out of the solid wood arched door of the tavern, Zhou Mo stretched out his right hand and touched the forehead of each drunkard. During this period, many alert people suddenly opened their eyes, but when they saw that it was Zhou Mo, they collapsed to the ground again and ignored it.

It is said that when Zhou Mo was picked up by the Red Beard, he was slumped in the alcoholic outside the tavern and had a high fever. If the Red Beard had not found that the black-haired boy was breathing wrongly and touched his forehead, Zhou Mo would have died silently on that cold night.

Therefore, Zhou Mo developed a habit of checking whether these drunks were sick before going to bed and after finishing their work in the morning.

There were seventeen or eighteen drunk men outside the tavern, most of them were wilderness hunters wearing leather armor and cloaks, and a few were lined with silk clothes. These were the nobles who were thrown here by their families. As for the criminals who were desperate in the empire, most of them were in a hurry and after purchasing a batch of daily necessities in the tavern, they left as quickly as possible.

Zhou Mo's movements were very agile, moving agilely among the drunkards, and the toes did not bring a trace of dust. When Zhou Mo's palm touched the forehead of the last drunkard, Zhou Mo's feet paused slightly for some reason. A footprint was deeply printed on the land of the town. Zhou Mo's black eyes narrowed slightly and found that this was a down-and-out nobleman. He looked very handsome, his facial features were as handsome as a marble sculpture, and his long golden wavy hair.

After looking up and down, he did not find any coats or patterns that could represent the identity of the noble. Zhou Mo frowned slightly. According to the Red Beard Dad, this kind of nobleman who could not see his identity was the biggest and most dangerous one.

Stay away from this person in the future. This thought flashed through Zhou Mo's mind, and then it was replaced by a sense of joy. The harvest of the past whole year was not much obtained from this down-and-out nobleman.

With his foot force, Zhou Mo smoothed out the footprints he stepped out. Zhou Mo returned to the tavern, clenched his fists. The originally loose linen clothes were instantly filled with the raised muscles on Zhou Mo's body. He rolled up his sleeves, and the tendons on Zhou Mo's arms were highlighted, with a dark color and a faint metallic luster.

"Yes, the muscles are pure black. Although the heat is still a little worse, it's only a matter of time before the black iron is gone."

The voice of the red-bearded uncle suddenly appeared. Zhou Mo looked up and smiled, loosened his fists, and his figure returned to normal again.

The red-bearded uncle was extremely burly. He stood outside the counter as if there were walls, and his face was full of conspicuous red-bearded man as if it was a flame. The red-bearded uncle seemed to have dwarf blood. His beard was very big, but his eyes were very small. He was shining with a shiny glow. He looked Zhou Mo up and down, and snorted coldly. He patted the black wooden counter with a big hand like a palm fan. Seeing that there was no dust bounced up, he sat down with satisfaction.

Zhou Mo looked strange. He hadn't heard the loud voice of the Red Bearded Uncle today, and he didn't mean to wake up the drunkards when he saw the Red Bearded Uncle. However, the Red Bearded Uncle never asked about his origin, and he never asked about the Red Bearded Uncle.

With the strongest snow-capped knives as the base, then blood grapes, fresh cow blood, and sea rum, Zhou Mo quickly brought out a glass of wine, poured it into an oak cup, and placed it at the hands of the Red Bearded Uncle.

The wine was sticky and swirls in a cup that was as big as a bowl. The dark red wine was like magma brewing.

The red-bearded uncle drank all the wine in one gulp, closed his lips tightly, held his breath, felt the hotness in his belly like a volcano eruption, and the bloody bloodyness in his belly, until the climax receded and there was only a faint fishy smell like the sea breeze, he let out a long sip of wine.

A year ago, Zhou Mo, who was rescued by the Red Bearded Uncle and cured the fever, was stripped of all his body. Even if he could change to a copper, he was locked up by the Red Bearded Uncle. The Red Bearded Uncle also sold him to a trafficker to pay for medical expenses. Zhou Mo used such a glass of wine to exchange for the job of making a living.

The red beard, whose bloody body was aroused by this cup of "Male at Sea", smashed the oak on the counter hard, then stood up suddenly, muttering in a vague way:

"Gou Ri's Lionheart Family, Gou Ri's Secret Guards of the Imperial Capital, Gou Ri's Politics!" Walked out of the tavern.

When Zhou Mo heard the four words "Shixin Family", he took a breath, and the rest made Zhou Mo want to be deaf.

"Gou Ri's drunks, get up, have two choices, come in and continue drinking, or go to the wilderness to feed the wild beasts!"

The familiar voice and familiar words made Zhou Mo wake up from the tremor just now and laughed at himself. Those who were both big shots were big shots, but it doesn’t matter if he was a little bartender, right?

One day in Sunset Town began with the roar of the red-bearded uncle crowing like a rooster.

Ten copper coins each cup of inferior rum, one gold coins each cup of sea men, ten gold coins each cup of imperial capital style, one cup of wine was sent out from Zhou Mo and entered the stomachs of these drunken men. They spent money very happily, and those who collected money were also happy.

Zhou Mo lived the same stable life as before, as if he had never spit out the words he heard in the morning from the mouth of the Red Bearded Uncle.

A crescent moon in the sky, a crescent moon in the end, and a half months appeared at the same time, which meant that it was midnight, and most of the guests in the tavern had left, leaving only some drunken drunks.

"Twist all of them!"

After carefully savoring a glass of "dark sun" specially tuned by Zhou Mo, the red-bearded uncle was a little reluctant to part with the wine glass in his hand, so he threw the task to Zhou Mo.

He held a drunkard in one hand and threw it on the ground with soft force. These were the last two. Zhou Mo stretched his waist and was thinking about the soft and big piece he bought two months ago. After closing the door, he drank a cup of "Yuequan" and then slept until dawn. This was the most comfortable thing for Zhou Mo in the day.

He bent down and touched the foreheads of these drunkards as usual. Until the last one, Zhou Mo gained nothing and muttered in disappointment:

"A group of wastes who only know how to drink have not made any progress."

When I got up and was about to turn around, I saw a blurry figure appearing in the dark outside the town, and there seemed to be something in my hand.

After stopping for a moment, the figure had already entered the town. Then the lights in the tavern, Zhou Mo recognized this person, and it was the down-and-out nobleman who brought him great gains.

He cursed in his heart: "It's really unlucky!" Zhou Mo hurried into the tavern. Seeing the red-bearded uncle still savoring the "scalding sun in the night" with an intoxicated look on his face, Zhou Mo said:

"Uncle Red Beard, I'll go to bed first. Don't forget to close the door when you leave."

The red-bearded uncle snorted coldly, placed the wine glass on the counter, and said in a calm voice:

"Boy, wait, and you have to make a glass of wine later. The rules cannot be broken!"

Zhou Mo's steps sank and his face turned bitter, but he still returned to the counter. The rules of the Red Bearded Uncle were the rules of the entire Xiyang Town. Zhou Mo had no intention or the strength to break the rules of the Red Bearded Uncle, so he could only abide by them.

A heavy footsteps suddenly came from outside the door, which was obviously the person outside the door doing this on purpose.

"If you don't want to get involved, don't talk later."

The voice of the Red Bearded Uncle suddenly sounded in Zhou Mo's ear. This sound was different from the usual voice. It actually sounded directly in his ear, as if the Red Bearded Uncle was talking softly in his ear.

Zhou Mo couldn't help but look at the Red Bearded Uncle, but saw the Red Bearded Uncle was still drinking slowly, without even looking at him.

The down-and-out nobleman with long golden wavy hair and a marble sculpture walked in. His blue eyes glanced at Zhou Mo, and his murderous gaze made Zhou Mo cold behind him, so he didn't dare to look at him. Then the down-and-out nobleman's eyes fell on the red-bearded uncle.

The down-and-out nobleman stared for a while, and the murderous intent slowly dissipated. Then he walked to the counter, holding a package the size of a bull's head in his hand. It was obvious that the silk fabric pulled off from the shirt, a dark black liquid was revealed, and there was a smell of metal rust.

"Bang!" The package was still on the counter, and Zhou Mo lowered his eyes, as if he had seen nothing.

The red-bearded uncle didn't even look at the package. His little eyes stared at the wine in the wine glass, hesitated for a while, then sighed reluctantly, drank the remaining wine in one gulp, tilted his neck and savored it for a while, and then slapped his mouth a few times, which meant that he had finished drinking the wine.

The package was pulled in front of him. The down-and-out nobles did not stop him. They just twitched their noses slightly, then looked at the wine glass of the red-bearded uncle, his throat moved, and his blue eyes looked at Zhou Mo. Just as he was about to speak, the red-bearded uncle had already opened the package.

Demon, Zhou Mo had never seen a demon, but the moment he saw the head, the term "demon" surged in his heart, with a horn on his head, his skin was like gray leather, no hair, and his scalp was covered with hideous wrinkles.

He forced himself to take a few steps back without shame and kept standing with his eyes down, which made the down-and-out nobleman look at Zhou Mo with approval.

"The demon-eating beast with iron-eating demon heads is intact." Uncle Red Beard gave a comment casually, and then he remained silent for a long time.

The Red Bearded Uncle didn't speak, and the down-and-out nobles didn't speak, as if they were waiting for the Red Bearded Uncle's decision.

After a while...

"Give him a cup of the rest of his life."

Zhou Mo moved like a mechanical move. After his life in the wilderness, the only kind of bartending that Zhou Mo had existed before coming to the tavern was only for the nobles who had completed the family mission in the wilderness and were able to return to the family after his last attempt was successful. This was a respect for the wilderness tavern and a recognition from the Red Beard Uncle.

Use the strongest underground tequila as the base, add raw beast blood, magic fish roe, and fresh tobacco leaves in the wilderness. The wine is as beautiful as the setting sun in the wilderness, which makes people desolate.
