Chapter 10 Jidian Awakening, the Meeting of All Realms

The violin is lush and the dragon palace is lonely.

The building is watching the sun in the sea, and the door faces the tide of Zhejiang.

The osmanthus falls in the moon, and the fragrance floats outside the clouds.

The tower is far away, and the wood is far away.

The frost is thin and the flowers are even more prosperous, while the ice is light and the leaves are not withered.

The age of old age is still different, and searching for trouble and turmoil.

When you enter Tiantai Road, you will see Yudu Stone Bridge.

......

Lingyin Temple is built against the northern peak and is built against the mountain. The buildings in the temple are distributed in steps.

Guangji took Li Xiuyuan into the mountain gate, passed through the Heavenly King Hall, and went upwards. He turned right before the Main Hall and came to the place where the abbot's hall was located.

Because the abbot of this temple is named Yuankong and named Yuanxiatang, this abbot's hall is also named "Fuhai Zaitang".

When he arrived outside the meditation room, Guangji first entered the room to pay homage. He saw Elder Yuankong closing his eyes to practice meditation, so he smiled and said:

"Guangji has seen an old monk. The old monk practiced meditation for several days, but I don't know what he understood?"

When Elder Yuankong heard this, he opened his eyes and sighed: "The old monk can't meditate, he just recognizes the disease. The so-called inability to see through, but he can't see through it, and he can't move. It's just an obstacle."

Guangji nodded without realizing that the old monk's Buddhist teachings were indeed profound. As a Zen monk, he had seen through the difference between "Zen opportunity" and "Zen disease". He was involved in something but not confused, and was not contaminated in the presence, and was not stuck in emptiness.

He didn't go into further research, but just expressed his intention:

"When I returned to the mountain, I saw someone lingering outside the mountain gate and was determined to become a monk. I just saw that the mountain disciples thought that he had no end to the world, so I refused to let him go. Seeing this, I took him into the temple and asked the old monk to deal with it."

Elder Yuankong said slowly: "Since that's the case, please invite him in."

So Guangji left the door and took Li Xiuyuan into the Zen room.

Li Xiuyuan is only eighteen years old now. He has never forgotten all the time since childhood. He can read ten principles and has outstanding knowledge. In addition, he has always been familiar with the teachings of the Tao, likes to read scriptures, and has recited them very well.

So he went into the Zen room and had a conversation with the old monk, which was quite popular with Elder Yuankong.

But the old monk was inspired by the Buddha nature in his heart, and he also knew that Li Xiuyuan and Guangji were both people who had a lot to do with Buddhism and should not be missed.

So he immediately ordered Guangji to inform the entire temple that the old monk had accepted another disciple today, called Daoji.

He also asked Guangji to lead Daoji to walk around the temple and become familiar with the environment of Lingyin Temple.

Guangji responded when he heard this and took Daoji to walk everywhere in the temple.

So he left the Buddha Sea Blind Hall, turned back to the Heavenly King Hall, started from Maitreya and Wei Tuo, and went all the way through the Main Hall and the Medicine Buddha Hall.

Whenever I go to a hall, Guangji first introduces the name of the Buddha in the inner world and the evolution of the hall, and then lets Daoji follow him to worship. Finally, he has to meet the monk in the inner world and introduces the newly acquired disciple of Elder Yuankong.

He saw Buddha worshiping Buddha and monk worshiping monks. When he arrived at the Arhat Hall, Daoji was already a little panting, but Guangji was still calm and calm, even the candles held in his palm were steady and motionless.

Although Daoji saw his magical performance, he did not ask questions, because when he was young, he had seen some gods and ghosts, but he had never been involved in it.

There are also many evil teachers in the jungle world. Many people pretend to be silly and call it "Zen Jing".

For some reason, Daoji felt an indescribable disgust in his heart for such behavior.

Just like the elders in the family saw unfilial descendants, strange but clear.

Standing in front of the Arhat Hall, Guangji looked back at Daoji, his heart moved, deliberately leaving room for him to rest for a while.

Until half of the incense stick passed, he saw Daoji's spirit coming up, so he called him and took him into the hall to see the five hundred arhats.

The so-called five hundred arhats are all five hundred disciples who practiced with the Buddha when he was alive. Most of them are Buddhas and Bodhisattvas who are revealed in their bodies. Although they are the name of Arhats, they should not be underestimated.

After all, even the "providing offerings" of the Tathagata's tenth quota refers to the Arhat.

When I entered the hall, I saw the five hundred arhat statues on the wall, with solemn and solemn people, humorous and smiling, preaching and debating, and thinking. All these things were different.

Even these statues have different shapes, including hanging scrolls, puppet clay sculptures, and bronze statues and gold bodies, which seem to contain some kind of Zen.

Guangji informed Daoji, and then walked to a position of meditation, holding a bead with his left hand and putting his sleeve on his knees with a wrinkled face and a sad look. He lit up incense and worshipped him.

This arhat is called the Venerable of Resurrection and Rewarding the Fruit. It is the sixth of the five hundred arhats and is also a venerable who has achieved enlightenment through practicing the Śrāvakas and Vehicles. He belongs to the Hinayana sect and is considered a predecessor. He respects him and bows.

Daoji, who was standing beside him, realized something when he saw his actions, and grabbed the incense on the table and prepared to worship.

He looked at it and walked towards a statue of arhat hanging on the wall in a daze.

The arhat depicted in this arhat statue sits on a stone, curled up with his left leg and his right leg naturally hangs down. He holds a dragon in his right hand, and the dragon body lies on the right leg, with the dragon's head raised, looking like he chooses someone and eats it.

The Arhat raised his left arm high, in the shape of a flower picking, and his face turned into an angry look.

The portrait is extremely realistic, as the painter saw with his own eyes, it is the dragon-subduing Arhat among the Eighteen Arhats!

Daoji stood in front of the statue of the Venerable, bowed three times with incense, and was about to worship the next arhat, but suddenly the hanging scroll with the statue of the dragon subduing arhat fell down somehow.

The shaft hit the Daoji Tianling just by chance, and then fell to the ground, making a dull sound.

thump--!

Guangji, who was standing quietly in front of the statue of Master Dharma Dian, heard the strange noise and turned around in surprise. He first hung up the statue of the Dragon Subduing Arhat again with leisure, and then helped Daoji to rest.

Daoji held his head and cried out in pain. After a while, he opened his eyes. A flash of enlightenment flashed, his eyes were clear and clear, as if it was covered with glass.

However, the statue of the Dragon Subduing Arhat was much dim. A wisp of Buddha nature, which had been worshipped in the incense for many years, disappeared for no reason. It was no longer as agile as before, and it was extraordinary at first glance.

"Junior Brother Daoji, how do you feel? Do you want me to find someone to come and see?" Seeing that Daoji calmed down, Guangji asked.

"No need, I feel good." Daoji looked at Guang Ji's words and suddenly laughed, "Thank you for your care here, Daoji thanked me here."

The words are gentle and polite, and they are no longer as proud as they were at the beginning.

Seeing this, Guangji felt a little deeper and asked, "I wonder if you are Daoji or Li Xiuyuan?"

After hearing this, Daoji put his palms together and sang: "My junior is a child in the official room, and has entered the empty sect. He has always been in the Samadhi of the Magical Power of the Past. Now he has practiced the language and has distinguished talents. The principles are supreme, and the wonderful uses are endless. Daoji is me, and the cultivation of fate is also me, and the senior brother is attached to appearance."

Guangji was silent for a moment and sighed: "This is the best."

......

Seeing that Daoji was already familiar with the past and understood this mission, the famous Ji Dian monk was about to be released in the future. Guangji gave a few casual words and returned to his own Zen temple.

His Zen temple is located on the back mountain of Lingyin Temple, and is still a distance from the Huayan Temple, the northernmost part of the temple, and is even far away from the living places of ordinary monks. It vaguely shows his special status in Lingyin Temple.

After all, Lingyin Temple is a Mahayana Zen Buddhism, and Guang Jishen was personally taught by the abbot, but he practiced the Pratyekabuddha Hinayana. He did not hide it from this, so someone asked him truthfully.

In the eyes of the monks, they were willing to fall into the inferior state.

The courtyard is full of bamboo and cypress plants, green and green. Three Zen rooms are hidden among the shadows of the swaying branches, and there is a profound Zen meaning for no reason.

When Guangji entered the yard, he sat in the meditation room and carefully understood the state of "never forget, seeking to pursue" that he had already understood. He was immersed in it without realizing it. When he woke up from meditation, the sun was already west and the night had just begun to fall.

After leaving the Zen room, Guangji did not walk around casually. The reason why he wanted to go back to the mountain at this time was to have a date tonight.

On the night of the fifteenth of this month, the moon is in the sky, the bright shadows are everywhere, and the silver is overflowing, the agreed time is the time.

So Guangji waited quietly in the courtyard for a while, and saw the jade plate in the sky gradually shifting. At some point, a faint mist floated quietly outside the Zen courtyard, covering the courtyard, as if it was isolated from the world.

As the fog gradually spread, the sound of insects and birds in the mountains disappeared without a trace. The fog outside the Zen Temple was as dense as water. In the surging, a gap happened to be revealed at the entrance of the Zen Temple, as if it was a corridor leading to an unknown place.

Seeing such a strange phenomenon, Guangji knew that the time had come, so he grew up, put the bronze lamp into his sleeve, and walked forward step by step, stepping into the fog.

I don’t know how long it has passed, maybe it’s a moment or eternity.

Guangji's eyes lit up and he realized that he had escaped from the fog. He was now standing in front of a magnificent ruin. The milky white mist was flowing like water, and the sky was dark and gloomy, dotted with three or two flashing stars.

This ruin seems to be the remains of a temple after it was destroyed, but it is full of exotic style and is very different from the temple worshipped by the Han people.

Gravels were scattered on the broken steps, and statues with different appearances were incomplete and lying on the ground.

The ground paved with stone slabs was covered with thick dust, and the light from the invisible source sprinkled in from the damage at the top of the temple. The stone pillars reflected white light, reflecting the ruins thoroughly and brightly.

Compared with the gloomy and dull sky, it gives people a sense of unreality and illusion.

Seeing this, Guangji raised his eyebrows and whispered: "Have you changed the theme again? I didn't have this style last time."

Bypassing the large and small stones scattered in the corridor, Guangji walked into the temple hall.

Inside the hall, stone pillars like forests spread out among them, but most of them were broken and did not block the view.

The pool surrounding the hall is surging with clear springs, and the water quality is transparent and clear, which is in sharp contrast with the remains full of historical sense.

At this time, three figures were waiting here in the hall.

Sitting on the main seat was a figure covered with inexplicable mist. He was holding his hands in front of his chest, looking down at the scene in the hall without saying anything.

On the left side of this person, a man in white stood with a sword in his arms, leaning against a stone pillar, and was drowsy. His face was also covered by fog, and his true face was not seen.

Opposite him was a petite and cute girl, who also had a hidden face, wearing a moon-white robe, a silky waist, and a sling on the head. She was sitting on half a stone pillar, hanging down her calves, shaking back and forth restlessly.

When she saw Guangji walking into the hall, she immediately greeted her:

"Monk, you are here! Look at the theme style? This is something I finally conceived."

Guangji sighed and shook his head and said, "The painting style is wrong."

When the girl heard this, she was about to refute when the man holding the sword yawned and interrupted:

"Look, I know that except you, no one thinks this style is normal. I don't want the fairy cave heaven and beauty scenery, but what kind of Corinthian or Paton style are you doing? Is it strange?"

The girl took a breath and tried to smile: "Don't argue with you guys."

Seeing this, Guangji took a step forward, found a moderately high stone step to brush away the dust on it, and sat down: "I've been here this time. I didn't see you last time!"

The last half of the sentence was said to the girl who glared at the man holding the sword.

After being interrupted, the girl shook her head and answered Qi Guangji's question: "I didn't have a job last time, so I couldn't participate. But I have nothing to do recently, and I have a lot of free time."

Guangji nodded clearly. Their party was already very loose and they came and went casually.

If it were not for the host's words, the causality and influence between them was deeply involved and could not be cut off, I'm afraid the party would have been disbanded long ago.

You know, their last party was a few years ago.

Guangji first joined the society when he had not yet entered the Tao in his previous life.

It was also from the host that he obtained a practice method about the twelve links of dependent origination that Guangji achieved success in the Dharma-Ending Age and was reincarnated in the Jiuzhou to continue his practice.
