Chapter 55 Tian Xiangzi

In a strong contrast, public opinion was quickly incited. Once public opinion was incited, it was difficult to calm it in a short period of time.

The senior officials of the Mohist family had already been ready for this matter. In order to prevent the interference of various countries, they had been waiting for so long before they took action. With Wu Qi and others entering Qin and the affairs of Mr. Zhang, the court of Mr. Zhang, the opportunity finally arrived.

In order to accept public opinion, the Mohist school, as the Mohist school organization, sent a very high-standard envoy to Fei Guo. led by Meng Sheng, and put forward a total of more than 40 "reform" suggestions in order to "save the three troubles of the people."

Since it was led by Meng Sheng, the specifications of this envoy were already very formal. It seemed that the Mohist school did not exert pressure by force, but still taught and persuaded him, hoping that the kings and nobles of Fei's country could make spontaneous changes.

The people of Si Shang thought that this was accustomed to the suggestions of more than 40 styles, and they thought that this should be completely realized, and it should be taken for granted.

However, from the beginning of the designation, Shi and the senior officials of the Mohist school knew that these more than 40 suggestions were simply impossible for Feiguo to accept.

If Meng Sheng’s trip was just to persuade benevolent politics, he would be in vain.

But if it is not just for "persuading" benevolent politics, then it may not be in vain.

Obviously, the Mohist school deeply believed in the theory of interests and knew the theory of contradictions, but also formulated a forty suggestions that were like fantasy, that is, the kings and nobles of the Fei Kingdom would not accept it.

If you accept it, it will be bad.

Meng Sheng led the team to serve as an envoy, and Pengcheng's rule of law will continue and will not end in a short period of time.

Xuanyi’s ministry carried out public opinion propaganda at full speed. An article entitled “Three Disasters of Common People” that burst into tears was used to report the first time using an “interview” method, showing the suffering of the common people slaves of the country from a detailed first perspective.

This meeting of righteousness seems to last for several months, or even longer.

The Mohist newspapers are spreading every day, with more and more radical, more and more rebellious, more and more rude than the times, and more and more involved in analyzing interests, debates and discussions at the meeting of the righteous.

…………

Feiguo Guoguo, second room pavilion.

Later generations called it Lanling or Zaozhuang second room, which was the capital of Fei Kingdom.

Tracing the history of the ancestors of Fei Kingdom, it can be said that the spirit of aristocracy is everywhere, and the history of ancestors' success is a microcosm of the aristocratic era.

Wen Jiang, the sister of the Duke of Qi, married to Lu State. After getting married, she still had an affair with her brother. After her brother sent someone to kill her brother-in-law, her sister's son ascended the throne to the throne as the Duke of Lu.

The Marquis of Lu wanted to marry, but Wen Jiang, the mother, insisted that the Marquis of Lu won the daughter of his brother, that is, Duke Xiang of Qi, his niece, and could also be called the daughter of his own man. It depends on which side.

Wen Jiang gave birth to Marquis of Lu and also gave birth to Ji You, the ancestor of Ji Sun family. Ji You and Marquis of Lu were brothers of the same father and mother, but they were half-brothers of Qingfu and Shuya.

After hearing what his mother Wen Jiang said, Lu Hou married his wild father's daughter and his uncle and cousin. However, his married wife Ai Jiang had an affair with Qing's father and had no children, so a daily life between nobles began.

Ji You and the Marquis of Lu worked together to kill the fourth brother Shuya, and then Ji You killed the second brother Luhou. The eldest brother Qingfu and Ai Jiang accidentally killed the son of the Marquis of Lu. Ji You found another youngest son of the second brother from another place, and used this as a legal principle to kill his eldest brother Qingfu and support his underage nephew to succeed the throne. It can be said that he ended up laughing in this decades-long aristocratic daily life.

As a result, the Ji family gradually became authoritarian in the Lu State. Although Qingfu and Shuya died suddenly, their descendants still had fiefs. The "Three Huans" finally became, and the Ji family's power increased day by day.

The State of Fei was originally a vassal state of Lu. At the beginning of the Zhou Gong's fief, all the major vassal states had vassal states. The vassal state did not directly talk to the Emperor of Zhou, but was subject to the sect leader state.

However, the vassal state of Fei was not an ancient country in King Wu Cheng or even the Xia and Shang dynasties, but was granted the feudal state after King Xuan of Zhou interfered in the internal affairs of Lu. Because King Xuan of Zhou killed the Duke of Lu and interfered in the internal affairs of Lu, he also granted the grandson of the Duke of Lu to Fei Bo, the legal principle of Fei was obtained.

The Ji Sun family's fief was in Fei, and four parts were divided into Lu State. Ji Sun family occupied two parts, and the descendants of Qingfu and Shuya occupied the other two parts, with 7,000 private soldiers, and the Marquis of Lu could not control them.

After more than a hundred years, the power of Ji Sun's family gradually became weaker, and the Duke of Lu regained power. The conflict between the two sides became increasingly serious. Finally, a compromise method was adopted, using the legal principles of Fei Bo, who was once conferred by King Xuan of Zhou, to admit that Fei was a country rather than a town, in exchange for Ji Sun's family to leave Lu's internal affairs.

However, Fei Yi was eventually taken back by Lu State. The Fei Kingdom of Ji Sun's family did not transgress, but used Fei Bo's legal principles when King Xuan, but the fief was not in Fei, but borrowed the inheritance of the name Fei Bo on the land south of Wucheng.

This is like the fact that after the Chu State destroyed Chen before, and after Cai, King Ping of Chu was appointed as Duke Chen. The reason for the similar reason was: Chen and Cai were destroyed, but the legal principles in the Spring and Autumn Period were still there, and the Chu Prince Qiji served as Duke Chen and Duke Cai above these two legal principles.

If Ji Sun clan calls his country with his fief Feiyi, it would be "uspionage".

If you borrow Faber's existing legal principles and call it a country, and nominally become a vassal of Lu, it would not be "uspionage".

At that time, the three items had not yet been divided into Jin and the Tian family had not yet replaced Qi. The Zhou ritual system in the world was really not easy to be too arrogant and contrary to it.

At this time, the world was in chaos, and there was no longer any Chu Fa who could ask for a word that "I am innocent" and the etiquette and law were deeply rooted in the hearts of the people. This nominal vassal relationship no longer existed.

Nowadays, major countries are reforming and seeking strength, but for small countries like Fei, there is no driving force for reform.

For example, the reform of Qin, Chu, Zhao, and Qi is that the countries themselves have a foundation. After the reform, they can compete for the world, and the monarch still has ambitions.

But it is only a few countries with a few cities, including Qi and Lu in the north, Man Yue in the east, Song and Mo in the west, and Jing and Chu in the west. Moreover, the country has a small and few people, and the king has no ambitions at all, and he dares not have any.

A rich country and strong army? It is ten times stronger than 20 times stronger, not enough for Qi, Chu and Wei to squeeze it with one hand.

Under such circumstances, the nobles were really drunk and dreaming and completely degenerated.

What I think about every day is those selfish interests that are greedy, and there is really nothing to think about.

Over the years, Ji Sun's family had many descendants and many retainers at that time, and each of them had their own feudals.

If it is possible to expand externally, the nobles may still support war and still have the so-called "martial morality". However, the expansion of Fei's foreign country is a dream, so the normal state of the nobles such as depravity, closedness, conservatism, fear of change, no overall situation, and the dream of living and dying, and the benefit of the disabled people can be seen in Feiyi.

He has a fief in his hands and a fief in his hands, and he has no worries about food and clothing, but he dares not coup and cannot expand.

Once trapped in such a situation, such fief nobles are the most greedy and degenerate group, which has lost both the enterprising spirit of their ancestors and the driving force for active change.

If Lu is really strong, he is close to Lu, and the stronger he is, he will be more convinced. As long as they ensure that their fiefdom remains unchanged, anyone can be the one above their heads.

Therefore, when the Battle of Hanshui ended, the Fei Kingdom immediately joined the non-aggressive alliance, hoping that the Mo family, who were determined to stop the war in the world, could ensure their survival and not be annexed by various countries.

After the Battle of Hanshui, the Mohist family only formed a loose alliance of these small countries on Si, and quietly waited for changes in the world for subsequent actions.

At this time, in a large mansion within the capital of Feiguo, a very famous wise man lived here.

The name of this wise man is Tian Rang. If there is no appearance or change, he should have been the fourth giant of the Mo family, which was called "Tian Xiangzi" in later generations, that is, the person to whom Meng Sheng passed the position of giant to his disciples.

But now, Tian Rang is just a businessman living in Feiguo and operating in Sishang Songguo and Weiguo.

The identity in secret is a secret Mozhe. Except for a few people in the Mo family, no one knows his identity as a secret Mozhe.

There was a very famous dialogue between Tatsuya and Wei Jun in history, and this dialogue is bound to no longer occur.

But the meanings revealed in these words can show some of Tian Rang's views on the world.

Wei Jun asked Tian Rang: I was granted a marquis for thousands of miles, and rewarded all the silks of the imperial palace, but the soldiers did not arrive. Why? Tian Rang replied: Your reward cannot be achieved through me! Your punishment cannot be avoided. You still raise a stick and call a dog, and you can set a bow and wish the chicken. Even if you have fragrant bait and cannot be caused, it will definitely be harmful.

Wei Jun asked Tian Rang, I would give people a fiefdom and reward, why don’t the wise men in the world come?

Tian Rang said: You, the reward you give to others (all by your personal preferences) cannot be obtained by making meritorious service. The punishment you give to others (all by your words) has no laws and principles to be based on. This is like calling a dog or attracting a chicken.

From a personality perspective, Tian Rang felt that Wei Jun's attitude towards scholars and ministers was like a human being to chickens and dogs, which was unacceptable to Tian Rang, so thunder, rain and dew were all the kindness of the king. In Tian Rang's opinion, this was a personality problem - just like a raised animal, it can be very nice to animals, but rarely treat animals as human beings, but just as a dog will not bite its owner even if it is beaten to death. This is exactly the idea that the world does not need at this time, and it is also completely suppressing the temperament and personality of scholars.

This view of personality was a rebellious statement in later generations, but it was common during the Qin and Han dynasties and was widely popular among scholars.

It was precisely because he had such an idea before joining the Mohist school that he was soon attracted by the spread of the Mohist school's ideas such as "rewards and punishments have laws to follow, and the world has reason to follow, and liberate human nature. Only the power and responsibility are different, and everyone is equal in personality." He was soon attracted by the Mohist school's ideas.

Just as flies are always attracted by smelly meat, or splendid butterflies are always attracted by brilliant flowers.

He was originally a native of Song, and he had a reputation in the State of Song early, and he was the first to get the moon. When the Mo family had done those major events early, he came to Si Shang as a scholar.

Similar to Changsangjun and his disciple Qin Yue, who came to Si Shang to welcome the Mo family, his reputation in Song land also welcomed the low-key greeting of some Mo family leaders. In the following year, he had many exchanges with him, and then joined the Mo family as a secret Mo.

He still wanders among countries as wise men and businessmen and does some transshipment business. He contacts some places where Mohist families are inconvenient to come forward directly.

Whether it is a country, the world, or even their own personalities, these explanations of the Mohist school are in line with Tian Rang's heart. He participated in the most magnificent cause of "benefiting the world" as a hidden man in the world.

After the Mohist school changed its organization, the organization became increasingly strict and no longer loose. It cannot be said that if you identify with the Mohist school in a private identity, you can become a Mohist. Instead, you must obey the rules and organizations of the Mohist school on the basis of identifying the Mohist school's morality and obey the rules and organizations in order to be considered a true Mohist.
