"Since the kings and princes are trying to benefit the people and avoid harm, then... they were unable to change in the past because the theories of various schools did not understand the roots of the will of heaven and all things."

"Now that the Mohist school understands and gives suggestions, which can benefit the people. How could the monarch who exists for the people to seek benefits and avoid harm, not agree?"
