Chapter 201 Six wins and six losses

According to the theory of the Mohist school of Si Shang, it should be like this, and it should be like this.

However, reality is always more bizarre than rational inference.

In fact, the reason why the State of Qi was speculated by the Mohist country was waiting for the alliance of princes from various countries to send troops but was slow to take action, which was very different from the truth.

The real situation is that there is no unified idea within Qi State yet and they have different opinions.

Some nobles believed that the Mo family was not easy to fight, and once they started a war, who would sell the food, cotton and other things from their own manors? If they fought for a long time, they would have to pay a lot of money to support the monarch, and then they would not be able to get what they wanted.

Si Shang was indeed rich, but even those farmers in Si Shang were not liked even if they were serfs for these nobles for free, because those farmers were transformed into ink and were too easy to rise up.

Not only does the battle against Si Shang have no substantial benefits to the families of various nobles, but on the contrary, they may also have to pay a lot of money. It is better not to fight first and take the opportunity to expand in another direction, and then contact the princes when the Mohist family truly expands northward.

After all, the Mo family has only got Jianghan and Nanyang, and the war against Yue has not yet ended. It is better to induce the Mo family to annex the Yue Kingdom, so that the Mo family will not be able to use force in a short period of time.

There are many Tian family who hold this opinion. After analyzing the current situation, they believe that even if they start a war with the Mo family, they do not have enough benefits.

Now Wei Ding is seriously ill, Xihe soldiers are destroyed, and Wei State is vulnerable.

Zhao Guozheng fought with Zhongshan and was unable to interfere in the Central Plains.

It is better to take this opportunity to contact Qin, Han and Zhao, and take advantage of the fact that the Mo family's war in Chu was not over and the Yue Kingdom still existed, and there was still a war, to divide the Wei Kingdom and Qi Kingdom monopolize the Guard.

In one case, some of the vassals of Chu State were still resisting, and now it seems that they will never stop until death, so it is impossible to surrender.

The second is that the Yue Kingdom is not yet determined. If the Qin, Han, Zhao and Qi families divided the Wei Kingdom and Wei Kingdom, the Mo family would not have the energy to interfere, but would definitely choose to attack Yue Kingdom and pacify Chu Kingdom first, and then discuss it.

There are many nobles who hold this opinion. In addition to their ability to obtain sufficient family benefits, there is another key point.

The Yue Kingdom was completely defeated, and the Gentleman Army was completely destroyed in the battle of the Si Shang Dynasty, but it has not recovered since then. In fact, the Yue Kingdom no longer has the power to go north.

But although there is no power to go north, the Mohist school is so merciless to treat the nobles of Chu. I believe that the ruler and ministers of Yue will definitely fight to the end.

According to their understanding, it is extremely difficult to destroy a country like Chu, Yue, so if the princes oppose Mo, Yue would not actually provide much help; but if the Yue State abandoned the Yue State and allowed the Mo family to fall into the quagmire of Wu and Yue, they would not be able to withdraw for at least four or five years.

Experience comes from history and never comes out of thin air.

Judging from the experience of the nobles of Qi, although the Mohist family had acted to open roads and break through the well fields in the southwest Qi, it was just a corner of the land after all.

The Chu State is five thousand miles away, and many vassals may not be able to be solved in the short term. In addition, the big burden of Yue State is so big that I think there is no possibility of getting out in the short term.

In contrast, Central Plains.

In the Battle of Yinyang, Wei State was exhausted; in the Battle of Yinjin, all the elite troops of Wei State were lost.

Wei State is the de facto lord of Wei State. Wei State can continue to this day because it is the forbidden body of Wei State.

The relationship between Han and Wei has actually become a perfect match since the Yinyang War divided Zheng after the battle.

Zhao State now sent troops to Xihe out of the alliance between the Three Jins, but in fact, Wei State is so fragile now that it may not have the intention to directly divide the Wei State.

Even if the Mo family has the intention of sweeping the eight deserts and six unions in the world, it will take time after all. The Mo family has not yet been aligned, and Han, Zhao and Qin declared war, but they only used the secret letter from the King of Chu who did not know the truth and falsehood to annex the Chu State. Then all countries can seize the time to expand their strength during this period. It will be obvious when the Mo family truly goes north and all countries can work together.

The Duke of Qi was not a talented person. If the Mo family had not been involved in a quarrel, the Duke of Qi in history would have been killed by his cousin's coup soon after he became a coup.

You should know that in history, it was not a civil war in the inheritance rights dispute between the princes, but a civil war against the crown prince after he officially ascended the throne. Not only did he fight back, but he also killed his son and his direct bloodline. His level can be imagined.

He also felt that what these nobles said was reasonable.

But some nobles expressed their opposition, believing that now is the weakest time for the Mohist family in Si Shang. If they do not take this opportunity to completely destroy Si Shang, they will suffer in the future.

Because now the Mohist family must divide some troops in Jianghan, control Huainan, Si Shang and Donghai, and actually have a very long front line.

It seems that the Mohist army is strong, but it is not invincible.

The Mo family's attitude of dealing with the nobles and princes of Chu this time completely made the nobles and gentlemen in the world feel cold. This is a decisive statement that the world will really be equal in the future, and that the primitive accumulation of thousands of years of ancestors will be smoothed out and started from scratch. This is absolutely unacceptable to the nobles.

The Mo family has united as one, and the Mo family has no king and no father, which is already angered by heaven and others. This time, the princes can destroy the Mo family by uniting.

And in the court, some people constructively proposed the theory of six wins and six defeats.

The so-called Mo family has six defeats and the princes have six victory. Even though Mo's army is strong, he is unable to do anything.

The Mohist family was frugal and abolished etiquette, and the princes were in order. This was the best way.

The Mo family made a rebellious move, without a king or a father, and the princes could be punished by the emperor's order. This is two of the meanings.

The Mohist family affairs were not lenient, and the people sought profits, so they were not intimidated. The princes were fighting against them with fierceness and had control over the top and bottom, which was the three things that governed them.

The Mo family is virtuous and ruthless, and it is difficult to have close confidants when employing people. Only the talent is used without blood relatives, and the restraint of the army is not allowed to plunder and rape the soldiers without fighting spirit; the princes and the princes all have the same clan, the same heart and virtue, and the use of all relatives and children fight for the country and the family; this is the four victory.

The Mo family was not filial to bury the poor, and only rebirth but not death. They weighed the ghosts and sacrificed less, and they spoke with the heavens without worship. The ghosts, gods and heavenly emperors really hated them. The princes were buried with filial piety and regarded death as if they were looking at life. In the four seasons of spring and autumn, sacrifices continued, and the ghosts, gods and heavenly emperors really protected them. This sacrifice was better than five.

The Mo family did not hear about relatives and only said that they were virtuous and capable, so that the achievements of their fathers could not be passed on to their descendants; the nobles and inferiors of the princes were loved by each other, so that the achievements of their fathers could be passed on to their descendants; the nobles would always be lowly and humble; this is the six benefits.

This is not without reason, especially in the old era when "the nobles will always be nobles and the nobles will always be humble, and the achievements of the fathers will never stop passing on the family" was the mainstream idea, and every sentence really touched the weakness of the Mohist school.

The Mohist abolished etiquette, which is radical; the princes now began to value etiquette, which is conservative; conservative can defeat radical.

The Mo family was a rebel, and there was no title given by the Zhou emperor, which was a great way. Although the princes were not clean in all their means, the princes had formal feudals from the emperor. To attack the rebels with orthodox is also a condition for victory.

The Mohist school talks about equality, and the army actually engages in personality equality between people, and even allows the people to discuss politics in Si, so that there is no order of hierarchy at all. If there is a fight, there is a possibility of internal problems. There is a difference between the princes, and the doctor is nobler than the superiors and the monarch is stronger than the officials. This order of hierarchy is the root cause of King Wu's defeat of King Zhou and the ruler's ruler's rule of sanctuary, so the Mohist school will be defeated.

The Mo family was ruthless and fatherless, and they were both loving everyone. They were not allowed to massacre at will, nor were they allowed to insult the people at will. Such soldiers must have no fighting spirit and cannot rob grain, money and women. How can they let the soldiers use their lives? On the other hand, the army of princes does not have such military discipline. When food is short, they can directly rob the enemy because of the grain. There are also camp prostitutes in the army that can let the soldiers use their lives before the war. As long as the soldiers are allowed to enter Si Shang and rob property, the soldiers will inevitably fight to kill the enemy bravely. Therefore, the Mo family has no possibility of victory.

The Mo family was buried in a small burial. At the very end, they shouted that the people were the gods and mainly respected ghosts and gods to the heavens, but in fact they only said that there were very few sacrifices; and the sacrifices of the princes all year round were very important rituals, and they used different sacrifices according to different etiquette months. The ghosts and gods to the heavens must hate the hypocritical Mo family and protect the princes who truly respected the heavens. This is also the reason for the failure of the Mo family.

The Mohist school talks about equal opportunities, and whether the nobles are always nobles or lowly, which makes the officers unable to pass on their merits to their children. So how can they be willing to fight to the death? On the other hand, the nobles made contributions to their princes and could be divided into fiefs, population, wealth, slaves, etc., and all of this can be passed on to their descendants. So how can the Mohist school defeat the princes who are willing to fight for their descendants?

These six victories and six defeats are actually somewhat dialectical in the so-called Si Shang, and this is actually the contradiction between the Mohist school and the old system.

Which one makes more sense?

The struggle has not yet come to a conclusion, so we can only use the most authoritative way to force some people to accept the principle of another group of people through violence.

The Mohist school believed that the principle that these princes would win was wrong at all, so they had to overturn and establish a new principle.

The nobles believed that the principles they recognized were eternal, so they naturally would win if they met these principles.

When a group of nobles heard about these six victories and six defeats, they also felt that it made sense.

I thought to myself, why are we fighting? Isn’t it to have the wealth of fiefdom slaves? Isn’t it to the prosperity of the family and to pass all this on to future generations?

The Mo family did not allow officers to have fiefs, and the large workshops of the Mo family that made money every day were not hereditary. So why should the Mo family fight to the death? Even though some of them were not good-minded, they believed in the nonsense of benefiting the world and not dying, but they were only a few people after all. How could they defeat the coalition forces of the princes?

The defeat of Chu was defeated by the treacherous plan of the Mo family and attacked Yue first, which left Chu unprepared and took it along the river to catch Chu off guard.

Besides, if there weren’t treacherous people in Zhucheng who seized Zhucheng, it would be hard to say the outcome of Chu.

And how could a Chu State be able to fight with the princes together?

Even if the Mo family can fight now, it is just a result of victory. Once it fails once, or once Si Shang is invaded, then the Mo family is likely to have a fight first. Some people may feel that it is better to join the princes and be generals and ministers in the future.

Therefore, the Mohist school in Si Shang seems to be powerful, but in fact it may not be invincible.
