Chapter 11 Atonement(1/2)

The floor is too high and it is not clear through the rain curtain.

But as long as Pei Zhi thinks of that one in ten thousand possibility, she feels palpitations.

The earliest information I came in was before 8:30. If it were him, even if he had removed the time on the distance, he would have been outside for at least two hours.

Two hours of cold wind, two hours of freezing rain, two hours of aimless waiting.

Putting on her coat and waiting for the elevator, she felt that she was anxious and downstairs were funny.

How could it be Xie Xing?

He was so unbearable, and he didn't know her family, so how could he be beaten downstairs by the wind and rain without saying a word? What if she went to bed early tonight, what if she saw her phone tomorrow morning, what if Xiao Wu didn't convey it at all.

With so many unknown factors, how could he be sure that he could always be invited upstairs?

No matter how you look at this bet, you will lose.

It was not until he stepped out of the elevator and stood in front of the arched porch that Pei Zhi discovered that the night rain was coming faster than he had imagined, and the tilt was connected into a rain curtain.

The wind blew into the corner of the clothes when he saw a chance, and the body was covered with wet and coldness when he leaned against his skin.

She opened her umbrella and followed the garden path toward the long wooden chair on the side of the road, and saw the blurred figures poured out of the rain becoming clearer.

The black shadow looked over when he heard the sound, his eyes were as ink as the night, but his skin was so white that even the two thin lips were so bleak that they could not see the hope of life.

Perhaps it was soaked in the rain that water was dripping at the ends of her hair, and water droplets were hanging on her long eyelashes. She was obviously embarrassed, but Pei Zhi could only see her eyes that were stained with water vapor after she faded away from the sharpness of the past.

She was almost angry and laughed. She covered her head with half of the umbrella and spoke coldly: "Is it fun to run downstairs to my house in the middle of the night to get in the rain? What do you want?"

"I want-" He spoke slowly, his voice dry and hoarse: "Use the cover as an excuse to come to you."

Unexpectedly, the guise was torn through.

Pei Zhi was stunned for a moment, and observed his expression little by little with an umbrella.

Thinking of the time she went downstairs just now, she thought about the possibility of Xie Xing in the elevator. Then she couldn't help but pretend to be a matter of making a fuss about her work.

But now, I am extremely honest and don’t need to pretend to be public and private.

Without thinking through the other party's intentions, she retreated and advanced: "What about now?"

"Now, it's time for me to leave."

He suddenly laughed and stood up, causing a wet dripping sound, "I want to see you. I'll be happy when I see you."

“…”

Pei Zhi lowered her eyes and glanced at the bench, from one end to the other, and then turned her eyes around. He sat for so long, and there was not even a dry place under him. The wood grain of the entire bench was soaked in the rain for a little deeper.

"Wait." She suddenly said as if she was depressed, "Go up and wipe it dry before leaving."

Minghuanghuang caught a trace of at a loss from the other person's eyes, and after opening his mouth, he began to regret it again, and his irritability grew a little bit.

"It's okay if you don't go." She said.

"go."

A shadow with moisture suddenly came beside her, and the handle of the umbrella was taken over, and it was held higher and more stable, and it was even more tilted towards her direction.

Two people walked through the porch one after another into the elevator.

However, after staying outside for a few minutes, when she returned to the elevator, Pei Zhi felt that her hands and feet were numb and cold because of the wind.

She put her hands in her pocket, clenched her fists and rubbed her several times. As she watched the layers jump, she raised her eyelids and looked at the person beside her who was drenched in the rain from the metal surface of the elevator.

It’s obviously so embarrassing, the arcs pursed from the corners of their mouths can still show the arrogance in their bones.

She withdrew her gaze and said in a low tone: "You haven't been to my house, so you're pretending to be pitiful downstairs."

“It didn’t rain when I came out.”

Xie moved his lips, fearing that the moisture on his body would touch her body. Since entering the elevator, he has been standing close to the side and standing with the same umbrella just now.

He paused for a while before continuing: "I got downstairs and got rained, and then I realized that I was impulsive."

Pei Zhi was interrupted without any hesitation: "If you know the impulse, go home quickly."

She didn't know who she was angry with. She felt that she was inexplicable the previous second, and the next second she was deeply convinced that the other party was having a brain disease. After that, she stopped talking.

When the elevator door opened, she took the lead in stepping out of the elevator, kicking her shoes off her feet without looking back.

The heels hit the ground and landed at the entrance of the entrance with two clicks.

Xie Xing followed her into the door. After changing her shoes, she had already stepped on marble barefoot upstairs and downstairs barefoot, but when she got down, she was still holding two dry bath towels in her hand.

At this moment, he was standing at the stairs and looking at him, his eyebrows and eyes were faint.

"Take off your coat," she said.

Xie Xing remained silent and obediently took off his already wet coat, fearing that the floor would be wet, and took two steps back and hung it on the empty coat rack at the entrance.

It was no longer the shirt I wore during the afternoon shooting, but changed into a sweatshirt, which was obviously soaked, and the hood was sticky and stuck to my back, making the fabric look dizzy.

When he turned around and hung his coat, he reached out and shook the edge of the hat. The texture of his back was stretched, and it was covered with thin fabric, wrapping the shape of the spine.

Pei Zhi sighed relieved herself, as if she had compromised with her.

Walk a few more steps and stand behind him, raise your hand and use a bath towel to hold him back from head: "Print your hair first, I'll find a T-shirt from Lao Pei for you."

The back paused slightly. While he was turning around, he didn't know what he was worried about, so he took action to slam her wrist.

The movements were rapid and extremely accurate. The cold fingers were tightly clamped on her wrist.

Pei Zhi didn't expect that he suddenly attacked. When he pulled his strength, his body was unstable and suddenly hit a wet chest. It seemed like a pause button was pressed, and the tip of his nose was filled with rainy moisture, and the sound and picture suddenly stopped.

When I was stunned, my first reaction was that I lost weight.

The resentment towards the huge power gap between men and women instantly dissipated on the spine that had just seen, pounding the skin.

She was still in a state of consciousness, but Xie Xing closed his fingers, rubbed his fingers against her wrist and then let go.

"No need. I'll wipe it and leave."

Pei Zhi had a wrong idea, thinking that he was afraid that such a fuss would make Pei Zhongnan mess up in the middle of the night, so he pursed his lips and took two steps back: "Old Pei is not at home."

Without caring about his reaction, she went straight upstairs, her face calm, but her heart was pounding in her chest.

There are many clothes sent by brands in Pei Zhongnan's wardrobe. Some of them look too young and have no worries to wear them once. Some of them are not as good as the size, and they have no chance to wear them.

Pei Zhi was absent-minded and pulled a new one. When she walked to the entrance of the corridor, she found that she was just holding Xie Xing's size. She couldn't help but lower her eyes and smiled at herself.

"House."

She cursed herself, and listened to the rustling sound in the living room downstairs, but she still didn't go in and changed another one.

When she handed it to him, she didn't know if it was an illusion, but she seemed to have captured the resistance in the other party's eyes. Her temper just now rose: "If you were afraid of trouble for others in the middle of the night, you should have gone home while the rain was not heavy. Now you are pretending to do something and change it."

Seeing that he was reluctant to answer, she felt irritated: "New."

"I don't mean to dislike it."

When the young master said this, the man who should have been full of anger actually felt a little bit convincing to believe it. He put his hands on the hem of his shirt and hesitated: "Change here?"

Pei Zhi didn't know whether she was angry or laughing, but she replied coldly: "I haven't seen it yet."

She turned around and had no intention of watching.

The sound of clothes rubbing sounded behind him, slowly, and he knew how he would have used it for so long when changing clothes.

After a while, he said, "Okay."

How long can it take to change clothes and rub it? Pei Zhi actually felt like she had spent a century. Listening to the rustling sounds close to her ears, she couldn't control her feelings and thought of the beautiful lines between the bones and flesh.

The white jade-like skin will sweat after it is caressed, and will leave a mark after it wanders through it.

They are not unfamiliar with each other. The ambiguity between adult men and women may be the same room, perhaps just the exchange of eyes, or just the subtle sound that stirs the mind, enough for it to climb all over its heart and bloom quietly.

That sound of relief declared that the long torture ended here.

She exhaled, turned around, and spread her palm upwards in front of him: "Wet clothes."

She looked like a fool, put on clean clothes and wrapped around her wet sweatshirt. Seeing that the water mark was about to be smeared in front of her, she couldn't stand it and grabbed it directly.

As soon as his arms fell into nothing, Xie Xing subconsciously picked up the bath towel that fell on the sofa.

Before he could hide his movements, another "wait" behind him stopped him.

Pei Zhi's eyes moved down and paused particularly clearly. It seemed that the contact and deliberate alienation that she was trying to avoid the previous second were all thrown out of the sky at this glance. It was just like a conditioned reflex, and the movements were ahead of his brain, and he pinched his wrist and pulled it over.

The fingers were stroked up little by little, and stopped at the bend of the arms.

Going further, I don't seem to dare.

Upwards the scar as blurred as a coin, new wounds crisscrossed all over the arms, deep and shallow, new and old. The latest one has not healed and has been soaked in the rain, which looks particularly hideous.

The new flesh is light in color, the wound is swollen, winding and ugly twisting.

She took a breath and forced herself to continue to move up the way. With each stroke, the bulging scar felt like it was burning her fingertips as if it was alive.

Suddenly I lost my guard and softened my voice.

"How did you do it?" she asked.

He covered his eyelids with his hands, as if he didn't want her to look at him again.
