Chapter 513: The reason for the difference between King Ksitigarbha and Buddhism

Underworld, Ksitigarbha Cave.

The Tingdi Divine Beast, carrying the wound, returned to the Dizang Cave.

The originally missing Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, at this time, the old god was sitting cross-legged on his stone bed. He felt the Tingdi Divine Beast come back. Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva slowly opened his eyes, and his turbid eyes could not see any strangeness.

The appearance of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva looks like an ordinary old monk, and there is no difference at all.

"Bodhisattva..." Tingdi's divine beast came to Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, and slightly lowered his head and shouted.

"Are you injured?" Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva stood up and came to the side of the Tingdi Divine Beast.

While speaking, he reached out his hand and stroked the head of the Tingdi Divine Beast a few times.

Squinted his eyes, Tingdi Divine Beast seemed to be very enjoying.

After a long time, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva took back his hand. The Tingdi Divine Beast could feel his injuries and had recovered 70% to 80% of his appearance. He lowered his head: "Thank you Bodhisattva!"

"Why do you need to thank me? You are doing this for me. If you are injured, I should naturally help you heal!" As for Tingdi's thanks, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva shook his head slightly with a calm expression.

First, he helped Tingdi recover his injuries, and then Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva spoke and asked, "How? This time I went to the mortal world, how did things happen?"

"Report to the Bodhisattva, everything is just like what we planned! I captured Xuanzang during this trip, but after fighting, Master Xuanzang seemed to have the methods of law. I am no match for merit. The ninth-grade merit golden lotus was taken away by him!"

After listening to the question from Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, Ting Di naturally had no intention of hiding it. He reported everything he did in the mortal world to Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva.

"Well, it's right, everything is in the plan!" Tingdi's report made Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva nod slightly.

"Buddha……"

However, after hesitating for a moment, Tingdi asked strangely: "This ninth-grade merit golden lotus is a treasure. Why do you want to give it to Master Xuanzang? You even have to conceal your eyes and ears in a way that responds to the disaster? Is it true that Bodhisattva, do you really have full confidence in Master Xuanzang?"

"If I don't have full faith, why should I do these?" Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva looked calm and looked at Tingdi.

"But..." Tingdi felt more and more difficult to understand and said, "But even if you want to overthrow the Buddhist sect, you can't do it. Even if Xuanzang is a lucky person, he is favored by heaven and earth, it is still impossible to overthrow the Buddhist sect, right?"

"You will know these things in the future!" Tingdi's doubts did not mean to solve them.

Well, I was curious and asked questions. The Bodhisattva was willing to answer, so naturally I had to listen carefully.

But if the Bodhisattva is unwilling to answer, it is naturally impossible to ask the bottom line.

"Tingdi, how many years have you been with me?" Although he did not answer Tingdi's words, after a moment of silence, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva suddenly asked.

"I have been with the Bodhisattva for thousands of years!" He lowered his head, and although he didn't know why Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva asked about this, Ting Di still answered according to the truth.

"Well, a thousand years, has it been thousand years without realizing it? To be more precise, has it been more than one thousand six hundred years?"

Listening to Di Di's answer made Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva look so moved that he murmured in a low voice.

"Huh?" The sigh of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva made Tingdi secretly surprised.

A thousand years of emotion, Tingdi can understand what is going on, but a thousand six hundred years of emotion? What is the Bodhisattva feeling?

I thought it was a secretly calculated in my heart. More than 1,600 years ago? Did something big happened?

Wait, more than 1,600 years ago, wasn’t it when the Zhou Dynasty was first established?

At that time, was it the time to destroy the Shang and establish Zhou dynasties? It was the great disaster of the gods?

"Ting Di! Do you know, why did I come from Buddhism, but I have a subtle relationship with the Tathagata of Buddhism and others? I am almost independent of Buddhism?" After a moment of silence, today's Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva seemed to be very happy and asked.

"It is because Bodhisattva, you are in charge of the reincarnation after the fall of the immortals and Buddhas, and you are selfless, that is why the Bodhisattvas and Buddhas of Buddhism are dissatisfied with you, right?" Hearing Ksitigarbha's question, Ting Di answered.

Regarding Tingdi's answer, Ksitigarbha just smiled slightly, shook his head, and said, "Your answer is right, but not right. Think about it, I send the souls of the immortals and Buddhas into the samsara. Why does Buddhism have a larger prejudice against me than the heavenly court!?"

"Oh?" Tingdi was stunned for a moment. Thinking about it carefully, it was indeed the case.

People in the Heavenly Court mostly respect the Bodhisattva, but they do not have much hostility.

On the contrary, Buddhists are more hostile to Bodhisattvas? This seems quite unreasonable!

Could it be that because Bodhisattvas are Buddhists and do not empathize with Buddhists, they are hostile? Is this unreasonable?

"The Battle of the Gods is a great disaster in heaven and earth. However, the immortals and Buddhas realize that they are above and forcefully intervene in the rise and fall of the human world!"

"Immortals and Buddhas may be superior, but they must not interfere too much in human affairs. They can use the great catastrophe of the gods to intervene, and let the Great Zhou proclaim himself the emperor and destroy Zhou Zhou of Shang!"

"Since then, the human emperor in the world has been in name only, and the emperor on earth regards himself as the emperor!"

"In the Battle of the Gods, thousands of immortals fought to the point of darkness, because even if the great masters die, they can find ways to resurrect them!"

"For example, after Nezha's death, his master Taiyi Zhenren was able to reunite his soul and be reborn through the lotus! There is no fear of life and death, and naturally, these immortals and Buddhas are not afraid of fighting!"

"My philosophy is very different from Buddhism. My goal is to hope that all sentient beings in the three realms and six realms will not distinguish between high and low! Therefore, after the Battle of the Gods, I went to hell and made a great vow: Hell will not become a Buddha if it is empty!"

"Maybe because of my great vow, I became the person in charge of reincarnation after the death of all immortals and Buddhas!"

"The war of the Gods that year almost swept across the three religions, and even more destroyed the Jie Sect! However, this time the Journey to the West catastrophe has resurfaced, but there are a few immortals and Buddhas who dare to sweep it! "

"So that's it!" After hearing Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva tell these things, Ting Di suddenly realized.

By taking advantage of the great catastrophe of the gods, the immortals and Buddhas defeated the Human Emperor, making the subsequent kings call themselves the emperor. Moreover, countless immortals from the three religions came to earth to fight, which obviously touched the way of heaven.

In order to avoid the reappearance of this period, the Heavenly Dao happened to choose the Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha who made a great vow at that time, and asked him to be responsible for the reincarnation of the immortals and Buddhas, and to prevent the situation of their supernatural powers being resurrected after the death of the immortals and Buddhas!

At this time, Tingdi suddenly realized in his heart and understood why the people in the Heavenly Court only had awe of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, but were not hostile.

Because although Ksitigarbha is selfless, it represents the will of the way of heaven!

Why do Buddhists be hostile to Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva?

That's because, before that, the philosophy of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva was different from theirs!

"The Bodhisattva has great compassion! It is admirable!" After understanding the whole story, Tingdi spoke and praised Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva.

"Amitabha, although I have entered the Buddhist sect, I am not worshiping Buddha, nor anyone, but Buddhist doctrines! This is the biggest difference between me and other Buddhists!" A low voice of the Buddha's name, and Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva murmured in a low voice.

It's like a country with strict laws. There is a person in the country who is not loyal to the emperor, or even to anyone, but to the law!

This is true for Ksitigarbha. He only respects the doctrines of Buddhism, but does not respect the Buddha, or even the two saints of Buddhism!

"What a lucky thing!"

He fully understood the root of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva and Buddhism's festival, and Ting Di said with some emotion in his heart.

"Luck? Are you saying that I am lucky?" Hearing the divine beast under his seat, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva asked with a smile,

"It is both the luck of the Bodhisattva and the luck of the Heavenly Way!"

"If the heavenly way is not favored, the Bodhisattva will definitely not tolerate Buddhism. Similarly, if the heavenly way cannot be obtained from the Bodhisattva, it will definitely be difficult for others to be fair and selfless in the affairs of the immortal and Buddha reincarnation!"

Smile, and at Ting Di's words, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva shook his head and said, "There is no luck between heaven and earth. The mountains and mountains are rising, the moon is falling, spring, summer, autumn and winter, wind, flowers, snow, snow, and feathers are flying. Everything is just the operation of the heavenly way, and it is destined in the dark!"

After the words came, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva seemed to have finished talking and closed his eyes without saying anything.

Seeing that Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva entered into meditation and left, Tingdi naturally did not dare to disturb him. He took his steps lightly and turned around and left.

However, after understanding these things about Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, Tingdi became more and more surprised.

Why does Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva value Xuanzang so much? He even thought that he would definitely be able to overturn the Lingshan Mountain in the West?

Also, why is it him?

Could it be that Master Xuanzang has the same belief as Bodhisattva? He believes that everyone in heaven and earth is equal and no distinction between high and low?

Think about it carefully, Master Xuanzang seems to be like this along the way? He never flatters because of the other party’s high status, or even is domineering because of the other party’s low status?

Even, can we live in peace with monsters!?

Could it be?

Is this why Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva valued Master Xuanzang and was even willing to help him without any effort?

...

In the underworld, Jiang Liu naturally didn't know the conversation between Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva and Tingdi.

Hundreds of miles of Thorn Ridge, a broad road was given out. Jiang Liu and his group only took just ten days to come out, which made Jiang Liu sigh secretly.

If there are thorns, the itinerary can be delayed by at least ten days or half a month longer, right?

The six demons of Muxian's house have done bad things with kind intentions!
