Chapter 2006 The Balance of Life and Death(2/2)

It’s different, but the balance between life and death still cannot be easily broken like this.”

So at the beginning, Shade told Durut Giles that he could let him meet Rusty Edwards again, but Shade would not promise to bring the girl's soul back. Even if he used the "Heart of the Living Dead" to push the door open

Later he had this power, but he still didn't do it.

"That's why father lost to you."

Sloth Edwards said, his brown hair now half white:

"There must be a balance between life and death. Therefore, only when one leaves, can the other come back."

"Yes, do you really want to do this?"

"This is atonement for my sister. It's time for me to leave."

He said this as he staggered past Shade towards the slightly surging black tide at the end of the tidal flat.

Shade looked at the dilapidated wooden boat stranded on the beach. The boat actually rowed silently into the water and stopped in front of Sloth Edwards.

He turned to Shade and bowed:

"Thank you for everything you have done for the family and for my descendants. Godcaller, I cannot repay your kindness. I only hope that everything goes well in your life. May the world and death bless you."

Sloth Edwards stepped on the black water and climbed onto the small wooden boat. After he was firmly seated on the boat, the boat took him, along with thousands of souls moving forward, towards the dark moon.
