Although there are six quasi-saints in Buddhism at this time, to be precise, seven, the Tathagata of the Great Sun has always been practicing and ignoring external affairs. Therefore, Sakyamuni Buddha has never included it, and the disadvantages of Buddhism are even more obvious. After reaching the conclusion, Sakyamuni Buddha was even more worried. He knew how much expectations Amitabha Buddha and Cundi Mother had for this Eastern Buddhist teaching. If it failed to be accomplished, what would he have to meet the two of them?
Thinking of this, Shakyamuni Buddha felt annoyed and asked everyone: "Amitabha, everyone in the Jie Sect is so powerful that it seems to be trying to make my Buddhist preaching fail. I wonder what your junior brothers think about this?" After that, he looked at everyone with a sad face.
As soon as Shakyamuni Buddha finished speaking, he saw the ancient Buddha of Lan Deng coming out and said, "No need to worry about Amitabha Buddha. This Eastern Buddha was appointed by the three saints. Even if the Jie Sect is strong, it will not destroy this preaching. At most, it will be a mess. We only need to be careful and not afraid of Jie Sect members."
After hearing this, Shakyamuni Buddha felt a little relieved. Although he had known this for a long time, he was still comforted by the ancient Buddha of Lan Deng, and immediately said, "I am not Amitabha Buddha, what Lan Deng Ancient Buddha said is very much."
At this time, Maitreya Buddha came out and said, "Although the words of the ancient Buddha of Lanlan are reasonable, if the Jieshuo made the journey to obtain the scriptures, but if the Jieshuo made the journey to obtain the scriptures successfully, but we would make trouble in other places, what should we do? You must know that this journey to obtain the scriptures requires 9981 difficulties to achieve the merits. If Jieshuo destroys it wantonly and reduces the disaster, even if the person who seeks the scriptures comes, he can only take away a few scriptures. In this way, my teaching will still fail to preach this time!"
After hearing Maitreya Buddha's words, Shakyamuni Buddha agreed very much, which was also what he was worried about. Now that he saw Maitreya Buddha say it, he hurriedly asked, "Why don't Amitabha Buddha, then I wonder what kind of tricks does Maitreya Venerable have?"
When Maitreya Buddha heard this, he was speechless. Although he saw through this, he had no solution. Seeing Shakyamuni Buddha's question, he couldn't answer.
The ancient Buddha Lan Deng saw this and smiled slightly and said, "No Amitabha Buddha, Buddha doesn't have to worry. We only need to order all Buddhas to prepare, and if necessary, we will send their own mounts to make a difficult situation with the one who seeks the scriptures. I have more than three thousand Buddhist disciples, and it is only 9981 difficulties, so why can't I capture it?"
When Shakyamuni Buddha heard this, his eyes suddenly lit up. When the other Buddhas and Bodhisattvas heard this, they also realized that the ancient Buddha of Lan Lan had a very wonderful plan, so they all agreed.
Seeing this, Shakyamuni Buddha smiled slightly and said, "I murmur without Amitabha Buddha, what the ancient Buddha of Lanting said is so much. I will trouble you to prepare for this."
Everyone hurriedly said, "Nanwu Amitabha, Buddha is kind, we should do our best."
Sakyamuni Buddha nodded slightly, and then ordered everyone to disperse and return to the temple to prepare to meet the needs of time.
The flowers bloomed and fell for a few days, and nearly three hundred years have passed. In these years, the Three Realms have become more peaceful. Although the Ancestral Buddhism has been sending disciples to the world to preach, the effect is not satisfactory. At this time, the status of Confucianism in the world is unshakable. No matter how hard the Ancestral Buddhism works, it still cannot compete with Confucianism. In the end, the Ancestral Buddhism almost gave up and no longer had any hope for the human Taoist tradition. Instead, he turned his attention to the coming Journey to the West.
On this day, in the Great Leiyin Temple, Sakyamuni Buddha sat on the lotus platform, preaching to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas below, and preaching the true fruits.
After the preaching, Sakyamuni Buddha said to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas: "I see that there are no Amitabha Buddha. I see that all sentient beings are different in the four continents. The people in the East, respect the heavens and the earth, and their hearts are refreshed and calm; the people in the North, Julu, like to kill, only because of their life, their nature is clumsy and their emotions are disgusting, and they do not practice much; the people in the West, the people in the West, are not greedy or kill, and they nourish their energy and spirits. Although they are supreme, everyone can live a life of life; but the people in the South, they are greedy for lust and happy for misfortunes, and they kill more. As the saying goes, the evil field of right and wrong. Now I have the Tripitaka Sutra, which can persuade people to do good."
After hearing the words of Sakyamuni, a group of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas clasped their hands to praise the good.
At this time, I heard Kashyapa, the attendant of Shakyamuni Buddha, ask: "I don't know what kind of Tripitaka Sutras do I have?"
Shakyamuni Buddha laughed and said, "I have no Amitabha Buddha. I have a collection of "Dharma" and talk about the heavens; a collection of "Dharma" and talk about the earth; a collection of sutras to save ghosts. The three collections have a total of ninety-ninety-one volumes, and there are 15,144 volumes, which are the sutras for cultivation and the door to righteousness and goodness. I am about to send them to the East Land, but the sentient beings in the East are stupid and slandering my Buddhist mantras and cannot recognize the purpose of my Dharma. If they are rashly introduced, they may neglect the authenticity of my Yujia, so they need to choose a believer."
After Sakyamuni Buddha finished speaking, Maitreya Buddha came forward and asked, "I don't know who the Buddha wants to send to spread the supreme Buddhist Dharma to the East Land."
Sakyamuni Buddha said: "Without Amitabha, I have a disciple who speaks sharply and is good at Buddhism. It is even more rare that the heart towards Buddha is as solid as a rock, and it is the right person to choose."
When Na Maitreya heard this, he asked, "I don't know who the disciples the Buddha said?"
Sakyamuni Buddha replied, "I am not Amitabha, but this person is not someone else, or the golden cicada who listens to my monks preaching on the Bodhi tree outside the hall all day long."
When Maitreya Buddha heard this, he remained silent and felt that the Golden Cicadazi was very suitable. Everyone present was a person with profound Buddhist teachings. The Golden Cicadazi had long developed spiritual consciousness. In order to listen to the Buddha's teachings, he suppressed his own strength and refused to transform. It can be seen that his heart towards the Buddha was as solid as the rock said by Sakyamuni Buddha. Moreover, he was naturally proficient in Buddhism when he heard the Buddha's teachings every day. He also saw that he kept calling all day long, which was the only candidate for popularizing Buddhism.
Therefore, everyone present nodded without saying a word and agreed to the choice of Sakyamuni Buddha.
Seeing this, Shakyamuni Buddha continued, "Which is the right choice for my disciple, but after his reincarnation, his wisdom is blocked, and he does not know his past and present life. In this way, one person needs to go and guide him to travel through thousands of mountains and rivers, and go to my Great Leiyin Temple to seek the true scriptures, spread to the East Land forever, and persuade sentient beings to transform into sentient beings. This is a great blessing, and I wonder who will go there?" After that, he looked at the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in the lower head, but his eyes were floating towards Guanyin Bodhisattva from time to time.
The next Guanyin Bodhisattva saw this and was very happy. He immediately moved the lotus platform to the Buddha, bowed three times, and said, "I am not amida Buddha. Although my disciples are not talented, I am willing to go to the east to guide Jinchanzi to obtain the scriptures."
When the many Buddhas and Bodhisattvas present saw it, they were envious, but they also knew that this matter had been decided long ago. Guanyin Bodhisattva was not only the quasi-saint, but also the person valued by the two sect leaders. Therefore, although everyone was reluctant to give up, they did not dare to compete with her for this great merit.
Seeing this, Shakyamuni Buddha nodded slightly and said, "There is no Amitabha Buddha, Guanyin is a powerful mana, and he is the right person." After that, he ordered Anu and Kashyapa to take out a collar of the Jinlan cassock and a nine-ring tin staff, and to join Guanyin Bodhisattva, and asked her to hand over the people who were seeking the scriptures. He also gave her three hoops, namely gold, tight and forbidden, to subdue those monsters with great supernatural powers on the way to obtain the scriptures.
Guanyin Bodhisattva took the Jinlan cassock and the Nine-ring Tin Staff, and bowed to Shakyamuni Buddha: "If you don't have Amitabha Buddha, your disciples will definitely do their best, and it will not disappoint the Buddha." After that, he retreated.
When Shakyamuni Buddha saw Guanyin Bodhisattva leaving, he said to everyone: "I am not Amitabha Buddha, my junior brothers are going back to prepare, but this time, there is no way to miss the teachings."
Everyone hurriedly said, "I am not Amitabha, please follow the Buddha's decree." After that, they dispersed.

However, there is a person in Haizhou, whose surname is Chen and his name is E. Chen E was on the Huang List to participate in the imperial examination, but he was the first in the third place in high school. Later, he married the daughter of the Yin Prime Minister of the dynasty. A few days later, Chen E was transferred to Jiangzhou Prefecture as the governor of the state. Chen E was also a filial person. Before taking office, he went back to his hometown to pick up his mother and went to Jiangzhou. On the way, he saved a golden carp and released it in the river. This carp also has a great identity and is the Dragon King of this sea area.
Before Chen E took office, his mother fell ill in bed. Seeing this, Chen E wanted to stay here to serve her mother, but the term of office had reached, so she had no choice but to settle her mother here, and then went to Jiangzhou with her wife to take office. Unexpectedly, Chen E was killed by boatmen Liu Hong and Li Biao, and Liu Hong saw Miss Yin's beauty and killed Chen E and occupied Miss Yin. Then Liu Hong wore Chen E's official uniform, took the official title, and went to Jiangzhou with Miss Yin to take office.
The body of Chen E, who was killed by Liu Hong, sank at the bottom of the water. When the patrol of Haiyasha at the Hongjiangkou saw it, he immediately went into the Dragon Palace to report. The patrol of Haiyasha reported to the Dragon King: "I don't know who is the one in Hongjiangkou today, but he beat a scholar to death and then sank his body to the bottom of the water."
Since he was in the waters under his jurisdiction, the Dragon King asked the Xunhai Yasha to carry the corpse. After a closer look, he was shocked and said, "This person is the benefactor who saved me. How could someone be conspired to die?" The Dragon King was also a person who was grateful for his kindness. He immediately wrote a letter to order Yasha to go to the land of the City God of Hongzhou and take Chen E's soul.
Unexpectedly, when Yasha came to the Hongzhou City God Land Temple, she saw the Hongzhou City God Land serving tea and pouring water below. Two women in plain clothes sat on the top. The woman on the left was dressed in white, and her appearance was rare in the world. The woman on the right was dressed in blue. Although she was a woman, her face was full of heroic spirit. Seeing this, Yangsha was very confused and secretly guessed that the identities of these two women made the land so respectful.
Just as the patrol of Yasha was confused, the woman on the right asked, "Is your Dragon King asking you to get the soul of this scholar?" As he said that, the woman took out a gourd and shook it at Yasha.
When the sea-sweeping Yasha heard the woman's question, he hurriedly said, "Report to the fairy, the youngest came to take the soul of this scholar by the order of the Dragon King."
The woman in green nodded and said, "I won't say much to you. I'll take me to see your Dragon King and let me tell you in detail." After that, she turned to the woman in white beside her and said, "Senior sister, let's go to the Dragon Palace first and talk about it."
The woman in white nodded and said, "Great Good."
Seeing this, Yuhai Yasha did not dare to object, so he had to lead the two toward the Crystal Palace.
In less than a moment, the three of them arrived in the Crystal Palace. When the Dragon King of Honghe saw the patrol of Haiyasha, he hurriedly asked, "Have you brought back the soul of my benefactor?"
Xun Hai Yasha shook his head and said, "Report to the Dragon King, the soul of the scholar is in the gourd in the hands of this fairy." As he said that, Yasha pointed to the woman in green next to him.
After hearing Yasha's words, the Dragon King Honghe looked at the two girls behind Yasha and said, "Oh." Then, the Dragon King Honghe began to raise two girls up and down. After a glance, the Dragon King Honghe saw that the two girls were not ordinary, so he stepped forward and said politely to the two girls: "The two fairies have the names of Gao surnames, what are the keys to come to Xiaolong Honghe Water Mansion?"
The woman in green said, "I am Deng Chanyu, the disciple of Mount Li Wudang, and this is Fairy Xuansu, the senior sister of the Dragon King of Honghe." As he said that, he pointed to the woman in white beside him, and then continued, "I am the sisters of Chen E, and they are also here today."
