Chapter seven hundred and forty-five before the full army, after the Han army

On the seventh day of the lunar month, Prince An Yue Le personally led 13,000 Manchu and Han soldiers out of Zhengyang Gate, passed through the large school ground and then went out of the upper gate of the outer city, and opened to Lishui.

Governor Lang Tingzuo, the Grand Secretary, the Eyeshe, the Eyeshe, the Left Governor of Gushan, Zhu Guozhi and other civil and military officials went out of Zhengyang Gate to see him off, wishing Prince An's army a victory and capturing the great thief Zhang Huangyan in one fell swoop.

When the army left the upper gate, Yue Le sent a military order: "Don't let the pirates escape, and reward the soldiers who were rewarded with meritorious people with near counties!" When the Manchu and Han soldiers heard this order, they were all excited and called for the Qing Dynasty.

Those who followed Yue Le to march into Lishui were Mulihu, the commander of the Zhenglan Banner of Manzhou, the commander of Gushan Ezhen, the commander of the commander of Solibai, and more than 800 soldiers and generals were armoured by Manzhou. In addition, Liu Liangzuo, Han Daxun, the commander of the Han army, Song Yong, the commander of Huangzhou, Zhang Tianfu, the commander of Xuzhou, Cai Qishi, the commander of Yangzhou, and Ding Zhiyuan, the commander of Huai'an.

Liu Liangzuo was originally one of the four towns in Jiangbei, Hongguang Dynasty of the Ming Dynasty. Later, he surrendered to the Qing Dynasty with 100,000 troops and attacked Jiangnan with Prince Yu Duoduo of Qing Dynasty. In the fifth year of Shunzhi, he was granted the second-class viscount, followed the general of the Southern Expedition, Tan Tai, suppressed the rebellious town of Jin Shenghuan, and Wang Deren was appointed as the minister of the scattered rank. However, he was not valued by the Qing court afterwards. He was the commander of the Han army in the tenth year of Shunzhi, but he was a free position under his command with no real salary. This made Liu Liangzuo very depressed. When he surrendered to the Qing Dynasty, he led 100,000 troops, but now he is a short commander. The gap is not small.

However, when Liu Zeqing was executed by the Qing court, Liu Liangzuo felt extremely grateful. After all, he was alive and Liu Zeqing died. He thought that his life would be like this, but he didn't want to be old but had an opportunity. Prince An Yuele appointed him to go to Jiangnan.

The reason why Yue Le general Liu Liangzuo came from his subordinates was that Liu Liangzuo had participated in the battle between Jiangnan and Jiangxi and was very familiar with the local situation. Another reason was that the soldiers of Manchuzhou were now withering, and the Qing court had to start to use Han generals who were not valued by them. After all, although these Han generals were not opponents of Manchu and Mongolian soldiers, they were all good at dealing with the Ming army. Jidu's tragic death in Guangdong also hit a certain extent the conservative forces of the Eight Banners of Manchu, which made the Han army more and more popular with Han.

Before the army left the city, in order to make Liu Liangzuo work hard, Yue Le told him that if he could capture and kill the great thief Zhang Huangyan, he could protect Liu Liangzuo as the admiral of Jiangnan Jiang'an to the court and be appointed as the general manager.

Admiral Jiangnan is now a loyalty, but Yue Le already knew that the emperor had issued an order to arrest Guanxian, and changed Liang Huafeng to the Admiral Jiangnan. However, this Admiral Jiangnan was mainly responsible for military affairs of Jiangnan Right (Jiangsu), while Admiral Jiangnan Jiang'an was the admiral of military affairs of each government in Jiangnan Zuo (Anhui). The reason for the two admirals was that the Qing court considered that Jiangnan Province had a huge jurisdiction, and both population and money were the first in China. If one person served as the admiral, it would inevitably have too much authority and potential risks, so the admiral Jiangnan Jiang'an was established. However, the admiral Jiangnan has always been vacant, and the military affairs of each government in Jiangnan left were directly under the Governor of Liangjiang. Last year, the Ministry of Revenue proposed to split the Jiangnan province into two provinces, Jiangsu and Anhui. If Liu Liangzuo could be able to serve as the admiral Jiangnan, he would definitely be the first Admiral of Anhui.

A single admiral was enough to make Liu Liangzuo work hard, and there was also a general manager. The so-called general manager was a privilege given to local military and political officials by the Qing court. It was similar to doing cheaply and was in charge of military affairs and government affairs. The general manager had the right to inquire about it, and deal with it first, and then report it to the court. In other words, the power was not inferior to the governor, and he could even stand side by side with the governor.

When Prince An praised himself like this, Liu Liangzuo was grateful and ran around to serve him. He was very busy. Among the generals of the Green Camp, Xuzhou General Zhang Tianfu was the oldest. Zhang Tianlu, the Ming general who surrendered to Jin with Zu Dashou in Liaodong, was his brother. However, Zhang Tianfu had never benefited from his brother's glory. He joined the army with his volunteers and accumulated merits to the general. During the Hongguang Dynasty, the Grand Secretary Shi Kefa supervised his troops and ordered Zhang Tianfu to lead his troops to Guazhou as the vanguard. As a result, the Qing army went to Jiangnan. His brother Zhang Tianlu recruited Zhang Tianfu to lead 6,000 troops to surrender to the Qing Dynasty with a letter. People at that time all sighed that the Shige Division was unknown.

After Yue Le's army left the upper gate, he advanced along the official road towards Lishui. Because he had the merit of capturing Zhang Huangyan in exchange for the emperor's forgiveness, Yue Le's desire to advance was quite anxious, fearing that he would go slowly and asked Zhang Thief to run away.

Prince An was anxious, but the army had to march in a sequence and had a constitution. We could not just give the order to run together. In that case, we would not be able to run far away and the soldiers would have to be dismantled by themselves.

Yue Le had pacified Sichuan with Haoge in his early years, and was considered a leader among the younger generation of the kings. He was highly valued by the emperor and the empress dowager. Otherwise, he would not have been able to suppress Ji Du at the meeting of the princes and ministers. The war situation in the south was dangerous, and the emperor first thought of him, Prince An, not other young kings. Therefore, although he was eager to seek merit, Yue Le still followed his temperament and did not issue an order to speed up the marching.

The official road from Jiangning to Lishui must pass through the Fangshan area, which is the steep mountain and water on the right. There are hills along the way, and there are continuous hills and mountains. After passing Fangshan, there is Moling Pass. The entire mountain is quite steep and is very suitable for ambushing. Therefore, when we walk to the foot of Fangshan, the governor Soli visited the mountain, although the mountain is not high, the mountain is steep. The official road has become narrow at this point, so he suggested that Prince An send a vanguard in front and a large army in the back to avoid the danger of being ambushed.

Yue Le chuckled after hearing this, and said that Solibai was too worried. Zhejiang gangs were in Lishui and the pirates were in Chongming. How could they appear on Fangshan? Even though that was said, Yue Le still accepted Solibai's suggestion and ordered the commander Mulihu to lead the troops in front, and the Han army's green camp followed.

After Murihu received the order, he led the whole army to ride horses in front. After the whole army passed for a while, Yue Le ordered the Han army's green camp to follow.

There were eyes hidden in the grass and trees on the mountain. Under a big tree that several people could not hold, the general flag Erdemuni cursed a few times, and then asked Wu Chongshan, the commander of the An Army beside him: "Wu An envoy, the Tartars have divided the front and rear teams, what should we do? Should we send a signal?"

Wu Chongshan shook his head: "Let them go, our task is to block the gap here, and let other things be left to friendly forces."

Murihu led the troops to gallop all the way, which was very smooth, but the more he walked into the mountain, Murihu felt something was wrong, because the mountain was too quiet.

"Well!"

Murihu stopped his horse and visited him immediately. He felt a little uneasy. He always felt that there seemed to be ambushing troops buried in the grass on both sides of the slopes.
