Extra Horizon (2)

The place I am going to visit this time is an ordinary small countryside in Japan.

The purpose of this trip was to conduct sketching research for these liberal arts students.

It can also be considered a college study trip.

After the bus left the station, under the leadership of Professor Okuno, he came to a homestay to settle in.

The homestay offers accommodation and meals, which is also a Japanese farm stay for leisure and vacation.

The person who runs this homestay is a grandfather over 70 years old. He is in good health and has several young people who work as helpers here. He is not too busy on weekdays, so he is more idle on weekdays.

Country houses are usually spacious.

In front of the dining room, there is a courtyard pool water quiet under the eaves. When you are about to eat or order, the old man will personally use a net to catch a few fish as ingredients.

Once ordinary melons, vegetables, fish and shrimp pass by his hands, they will have an unexpectedly good taste.

Also because it looks like a landscaped courtyard pool, the dining room has a large window as a passage for people to enjoy the rainy scenery.

Today I am just a new arrival and everyone speaks freely all day long.

Osugisa occasionally chatted with a few classmates who were approaching, but in the end he liked to sit quietly by the window and look at the osmanthus tree in the rain behind the pool water.

"It's a pity that it's autumn now and it's still raining, otherwise it would be particularly fragrant when making tea with osmanthus."

Professor Okuno sat on the cushion next to Uesugizo with tea.

"Why don't you talk to everyone more? I think you are quite popular in the eyes of the few girls in our school, haha."

The wide windows, the light transmitted from the outside, outlined the dark back of Uesugi.

"I just...want to see the rain."

"Rain," Professor Okuno's eyes followed him, looking at the osmanthus tree that was swaying in the rain. "Rain is a very magical thing. Do you know how many literati describe rain?"

"How many?" Uesugi Tho turned his head and asked.

Professor Okuno patted his knees while sitting cross-legged and laughed loudly, "Haha, I don't know either.

"But, a person who can guess the mind of rain must have been moistened by rain, his body must have been beaten by rain, and when the rain falls to the ground, emotional waves will be splashed."

"How do you understand this sentence?" Uesugi asked in a plain voice.

"It varies from person to person, just like me, what I see on this pool of water is a variety of natural states, and tones of different heights. They fall, they are music when I am happy, and noise when I am depressed."

"Can you understand this kind of artistic conception?" Professor Okuno asked with a smile, "Now, in your eyes, what does rain look like?"

Uesugi looked ahead and said coldly: "It's gray and has no color."

"Where is that green osmanthus tree?"

"It was dyed ashes by the rain."

Professor Okuno looked at his eyes and felt that the hot tea in his hand would be much colder.

......

"Professor, I've been thinking about a question lately."

Professor Okuno took a sip of hot tea, "Well, let's talk."

"When watching a movie, everyone loves the characters in it, and they will be happy when they reunited, sad when they parted, and even moved or heartbroken when they ended.

"This emotion is particularly strong when the movie ends and the feeling is still not over, but soon after, this kind of concern suddenly disappears. People no longer love the story of the heroine and the hero, and no longer have the original love for the story, it is like... forgetting and moving..."

In the courtyard, the sound of rain rose and fell.

Professor Okuno stared out the window and said, "Uecue, when people meet a TV they like, what will people feel when they are halfway through the broadcast?"

"I want to see the urgently underground part."

"Well, they will do this. During this period, people will discuss and share their emotions enthusiastically, on social software, on forums, and on comments.

"They all want to see discussions about TV characters and see if others have the same idea as themselves. When the majority of the people they like, people will criticize those who make rebuttals, and even see bad comments about someone, and people will subconsciously feel disgusted.

"You know, this is the power of emotions."

"Works are all about conveying emotions, also called expressions, and also selling them, but many times the works are sold for sale, describing conflicts very much and are very satisfying. But when they are over, people's emotions return to calmness, causing emptiness... Of course, people will forget them. After all, there is not always stimulation around them. The spirit and the body always have a strong relationship. In most cases, the perception of the body is greater than that of the spirit."

"professor."

"Listen to me first."

Professor Okuno interrupted him.

"Have you seen "Trumen's World"?"

“See it.”

“The essence of it is at the end of this.

"When the audience saw Truman breaking free from the shackles and escaping the false life on the live TV, they were so excited that they even shook the table hard. They were happy, they cheered, and everyone was happy for the protagonist and for the Truman story, but when the reality show left on TV, the cheers of the two policemen suddenly disappeared and said indifferently: 'Look at what else'.

"So...what does this story mean to them?"

"Trumen are just a story of their entertainment."

Professor Okuno smiled and said, "Most people's emotions are cheap and fast in modern times. Because there are many works, I will be moved here and I will go to the next place to be moved. So my suggestion for your question is to experience the present."

"But what if...it's still impossible to forget it for a long time?"

"Living in the present moment, emotions will change."

......

Uesugi Seok sat up from the darkness, wrapped his hands around his head and pressed his legs against the knees.

It was pitch black all around.

Only the sound of raindrops hitting the tiles is heard.

Uesugi Kazuki completely ignored the coldness that invaded his whole body, and just thought about it in his mind.

Her white long skirt is still swaying gently in the silver wheat fields.

"Are you thinking about me? Fireworks..."

My body became colder.

He remembered that day, it was also a rainy night.

That night the room was filled with candles and green flames.

Uesugi Kazuki tried to put aside the memory of that day, got up and walked to the cabinet, and took out the diary from his backpack above.

After turning on the flashlight function of the phone, Uesugi Sei sat back to the sleeper and covered it with a quilt.

In the small space filled with light sources, gently turn it on.

The beautiful words on the inside of the cover were gently stroked. The more you looked at it, the more the smile that Huahuo gave him this diary as a birthday gift was reflected in front of him.

She said: "This is a birthday present this year!"

Uesugi Kazuki was still holding the diary and shaking it, saying that it might be too cheap.

It's obviously just a complaint.

But I never thought that no matter how cheap things are, they are precious.

This diary is almost finished.

Uesugi Take out the pen shelves in the diary and write down what happened today.

“It’s still raining today.

Professor Okuno said that you don’t have to pay too much attention to the emotions brought by the story.

They all change and pass, even if they do love the characters in the story.

But I think if Fireworks are also the person in the story.

The beautiful scenes I experienced with me were finally given up by everyone, it would be a pity...

Feelings will change.

But I think I will still think of you, Fireworks.

If even I forgot your happy smile, then you will be back to the lonely girl who was a child who celebrated her birthday alone?

Don't be sad, fireworks, I'm still thinking about you and your birthday.

It’s just a pity... I couldn’t see you standing in front of you in a wedding dress.

I think...you will definitely be so happy that you will cry..."

"pity......"

The strokes ended reluctantly on the final ellipsis.

Uesuma Dog lies on the berth with the closed notes in his arms, closed his eyes, and fantasized about entering the rolling golden wheat field again.

He looked up at the moon that occupied half of the sky on the horizon, ran and moved forward, trying his best to chase the girl's melodious moonlight back with the wind.

Uesugi knows it.

No matter how far away, her white skirt... is always swaying in her beating heart.
