Extra Horizon 5(1/2)

"Teacher Uesugi!"

"Ah, it's you."

Uesugi Teru stood in the entrance hall and looked at the man in a suit and glasses standing at the door, showing a tired look.

"Please go back."

"Teacher Uesugi!"

The man held an umbrella full of water droplets. He quickly reached out to block the door that was about to be closed, and his expression was a little excited.

"Mr. Uesugi, the deadline is coming soon! Please make sure to write the third volume of the novel within this week..."

The power of pushing the door suddenly became stronger.

“…Please forgive me!”

The door was suddenly opened by Uesugi. His tired face looked at the dark Tokyo sky.

There were unseen rain lines floating there, and they were thin and long, and puddles gathered in the small courtyard in front of the house.

Uesuma's eyes returned from the sky to the man's face.

The hair under his umbrella was moist, and the hard shoulders of the suit had a few drops of water that could not seep into it.

"Teacher Uesugi!"

"Forget it, Otsu, come in." Uesugi Dora said helplessly when he saw his excitement.

"I've been disturbed."

Kenya Ozu looked into the room along Uesugi's back.

There was no light on inside, and he was drowsy. He guessed that Uesugi should be sleeping at this moment, after all, his clothes were not neatly worn.

Uesugius pointed to the kettle on the guest's table: "Hot tea is on the table, pour it yourself when you are thirsty. There are no used bath towels in the bathroom. After taking a shower, wipe your head and go back."

After Uesugi Teru finished speaking, wearing slippers, he was about to leave the living room and walk towards the second floor.

Otsu quickly called him: "Teacher Uesugi!"

Uesugi stopped and turned around: "What, is there anything else?"

"That...manuscript..."

"Manuscript...? What manuscript?" Uesugi asked in confusion, as if he really didn't know.

"The third volume of Mengkunka Temple." Otsu, holding the hot tea, quickly reminded him.

"Novels," Uesugi Doo remembered, it seemed like there was such a thing, "Didn't you say you'll pay it again at the end of this month?"

Otsu had to remind again: "Teacher Uesugi, last month, I sent you no less than fifty text messages, reminding you that the third volume is about to end this weekend!"

Uesuma was silent for a second:

“…sorry, I haven’t started writing yet.”

"Open, there is no beginning!?" Otsu sat up from the sofa and almost poured the tea in his hand on his hand. He was almost desperate.

The top urged him to urge Uesugi to urge the third volume to Uesugi. It was almost the deadline, and the author didn't even start writing the beginning.

What's going on!

Is the first job in my life going to fail here?

He inserted his hands into his hair at once, and his head was so swollen that it made him grow his mouth subconsciously.

"Teacher Uesugi! Teacher Uesugi! You can't do this!" Otsu rushed over and grabbed Uesugi Tou who was about to go upstairs to sleep.

"Satisfaction," Uesugizo comforted his frightened face, "Which author doesn't delay the manuscript? You can explain the situation to your editor-in-chief, and just delay it for a month."

Otsu still held his arms tightly: "Teacher Uesugi! That's what you said in May! It's October now!! If you don't submit your manuscript, I will die!!"

"October? It turns out that it's October..." Uesugi Sao looked at the lily flowers that had already withered and disappeared beside the TV.

"Teacher Uesugi, Teacher Uesugi, Teacher Uesugi!"

Uesugi came back to his senses: "Okay, stop shouting, go take a shower quickly, and go home after the rain is low."

"But, the editor-in-chief! manuscript! manuscript!"

Uesugizo comforted him and said, "The worst thing is that my novel is cut in half, just cut in half... It doesn't matter, the story has been written."

Otsu had a look of disbelief: "How is it possible! The story is only halfway through the story!"

"The author said that after writing, it was finished, and the rest of the book was actually all based on the readers' imagination. This is how this book is."

"Haha...haha... Uesugi, you must be joking, joking, right!"

"No."

Mengkun Fangji is a novel submitted by Uesugi Sato at the beginning of the year. Since the second week of Hana Wai's death, he began to prepare and completed the first two volumes a month later and published them into a book.

Over time, readers are growing day by day.

But contrary to the popularity, Uesugi did not start writing the subsequent part.

Uesugi Sao shook his head, he didn't want to say much.

Otsu stopped him again.

"Mr. Uesugi, you wrote so well, why can't you have more? Where do you want to see!"

Uesugi said calmly:

"I wrote it for myself, and I didn't expect it to be a best seller. It's the same result when I read more and less. If I read more and more people, I won't write less."

"Since it was written for yourself, why did Mr. Uesugi have to publish it again? Now that your work has been published in the first two volumes, you have a loyal fan."

"Reading is just a pastime."

“Where to write?”

“Writing is love.”

“Where to publish?”

“The publication is a commemoration.”

Uesugi Doo glanced at him and found that he was still determined to write down. He sighed and reluctantly agreed:

"Two days later, at six o'clock in the morning, I will come to me with your black suit and black umbrella. As long as you stay with me for a few hours, I will promise you to continue writing."

"real!?"

"Yes." Uesugi nodded.

"The editor-in-chief...what should I say when I go back today...?"

"Don't worry, you can get scolded at most. Remember to take a shower before going back, otherwise you will be careful of a cold after getting wet."

Uesuma waved his hand and turned around and walked upstairs.

Otsu breathed a sigh of relief, and was saved...

He relaxed and looked around. The layout of the living room always made him feel that something was missing, but it seemed that there was nothing missing.

After Uesuso's family finished the bathroom, Otsu walked to the bedroom, said goodbye to Uesuso, and returned to the publishing house where he worked.

As Uesugi Said, the editor-in-chief did not make things difficult for him. Instead, because Uesugi Said said he was willing to start writing, he patted his shoulder with a smile, encouraging him to say good things.

......

Two days later, October 10th.

Otsu almost stroked and rang the doorbell of the Uesugi Tho family.

Almost just a few seconds later, the door opened.

The other party seemed to be ready.

Uesugi Teru stood in the entrance, his clothes were neat. He patted his silver dial and obviously had already packed up his outfit when he went out.

"Mr. Uesugi...had he not sleep all night?"

Otsu found a little tired on his face, but the same was true when he saw him last time, and he felt a little decadent.

"Yeah." Uesugizo replied casually, "Let's go, go out first, don't affect my two sleeping sisters, they still have to get up early to go to school."

It was still raining outside.

Once it rains, people are flowing on the streets, and only the sound of rain, cars, and shoes can be heard mixed together. But this chaos is another harmonious scene in the rainy day.

Tokyo is a bustling and indifferent city.

Everyone has their own directions, and people are indifferent when they walk through the bustling city.

"Mr. Uesugi, where is the destination?" Otsu asked on the tram.

“In Tokyo.”

Otsu followed Uesugi off the tram and left the platform.

I thought Uesugi Tou took him to his destination, but I didn't expect that he came to the flower market to buy lily flowers.
