22. Evelyn

An old car was driving in an empty street, splashing water.

On one side of the street is a continuous coastline, with waves hitting the embankment and splashing white waves. The wiper wipers wipe off the rain and sea water falling on the glass over and over again.

Due to heavy rain, the power supply in London was very unstable. Some street lights were on, some street lights went out, some were on the roadside buildings, some were faint candlelight, and some were simply pitch black.

"You were actually cheated by the waiter." Evelyn suddenly said.

Wang Yao said: "You mean a burger costs five pounds, or is this dress worth only five pounds."

Evelyn was slightly surprised: "I thought you didn't know."

"Anyway, I have to take back the clothes." Wang Yao said without worries. "Thank you for your burger, otherwise it would be very difficult to pack them up on an empty stomach. Maybe they would be picked up by one hand and thrown out."

"Puff." Evelyn covered her mouth and chuckled, with a unique ladylike demeanor. "It seems you're hungry."

"Well..." Wang Yao murmured at the car window, but could only see his own reflection and the blurred dark streets. "I don't know what happened to Harry."

"What?" Evelyn asked, tilting her head. After getting in the car, she rubbed off the makeup she had lost with her handkerchief, but she looked even more funny. So her face kept turning red all the way. I don't know if it was because of the bright red lipstick that accidentally applied the whole face, or because Wang Yao was shy about seeing this.

In this regard, she did not show the unique generosity of British women, but was like a shy oriental person.

"It's nothing." Wang Yao turned his head and replied, setting his eyes out the window again. He gently pinched his right wrist, and a wound was cut out by sharp gravel. The blood was no longer flowing. There were still many such wounds all over his body.

There is a little disagreement here. In the plot, Hagrid takes Harry away from the gravel island. But don't forget that the Harry Potter movie is adapted from the novel. In the novel, Hagrid stays on the gravel island for a night.

It is obvious that the plot is judged according to the movie. This also conforms to Wang Yao and oftum's basic understanding of 236 - but this does not mean that Harry Potter's original novel has no reference points.

Compared to the more than two hours of Harry Potter 1 movie, the first original novel with hundreds of thousands of words will describe the plot in more detail. Perhaps it can exist as a guide book that amplifies details. The details that cannot appear in the movie are mostly recorded in the books because of the tight time.

The watch contains all Harry Potter's movies and novels, and even the movie scripts can be checked. The trouble is that the T virus does not give him the ability to see ten lines at a glance. It will take at least a day for Wang Yao to finish watching these.

And what he lacks the most now is time.

After more than ten minutes.

Lightning flashed by, and Wang Yao took this moment to light up and saw the classic car turning into a small manor. The iron railing behind him slowly closed after they entered.

Bypassing the fountain in the middle, the car stopped in front of the villa steps.

Evelyn got out of the car, picked up her skirt and walked up the steps. The villa door opened and the light shone out. A woman came out to greet Evelyn.

"Miss, you are back." The woman wanted to invite Evelyn in.

"Auntie, I have friends here." Evelyn waved to the classic car under the steps. Wang Yao pushed open the car door and stepped on the puddle, splashing water droplets.

"You, you are... Charlie first..." The old woman's slightly hunched body stiffened, and her turbid eyes added a little color. She said excitedly.

"He's not, aunt." Evelyn put her arms around the old woman's shoulder, her tone a bit complicated. "He's just... a friend I just met."

The old woman carefully identified Wang Yao who was walking up the steps, and said with a deep tone: "Oh, it's my old eyes that are dizzy..."

But it really looks like Evelyn murmured to herself.

When Wang Yao heard their conversation, he should have looked like someone they knew. So Wang Yao decided not to talk to him, so he would be silent at this time.

"Please come in, the guest." The old woman woke up at this time, and led Wang Yao into the gate with Evelyn.

To be honest, when Wang Yao first met Evelyn with heavy makeup, she thought she was a street girl or a slut, so she took her home after looking for a suitable candidate in the bar. Her home should also be in a crowded and dirty one-bedroom room, rather than a luxurious villa with her own manor.

Did rich people in Britain like to play like this in the last century?

The hall is elegant but noble. The smooth marble floor can almost reflect the reflection. The crystal chandeliers brightly illuminate the hall. The flames in the fireplace burn, exuding warmth.

The wet shoe prints extended from the door to the front of the sofa. When Wang Yao saw it, his old face turned red and he didn't dare to sit down.

"You are so handsome when you were in the bar, why are you as embarrassed as a little boy now?" Evelyn took off her high heels in the hall, and her crystal white feet entered her plush slippers. She took the towel handed by the woman, tilted her head to wipe her long hair, put her long skirt on her seat on the sofa, and teased her.

If you don't pay attention to the makeup on her face, this scene will be very beautiful.

"I'm sorry." Wang Yao raised his face and hesitated for a while but still didn't have the nerve to sit down.

The atmosphere became a little dull, and the old woman broke the quiet at this time: "Miss, the meals and hot water are ready."

Evelyn breathed a sigh of relief and smiled and said, "Auntie, take the guest to the guest room, and then prepare a set of dry clothes for him. I'll go back and take a shower.

She went to ask Wang Yao: "Do you still need to eat something, Mr. Dongfang."

"If possible..." Wang Yao said embarrassedly: "I didn't eat much."

He now wished he could escape, which made him embarrassed. He would rather be contemptuous and looked down upon when he came in, and then use force to solve the problem.

"Auntie, remember to deliver the food to the guest room."

"Okay, please come here." The old woman guided Wang Yao to the upper floor.

Bang-

The room lights were looked at, and the old woman's hand left the switch beside the door.

"This is the bathroom. You can go and take a shower. Do I need me to put the bathtub water for you?"

"I'll do it myself, please trouble you." Wang Yao hurriedly thanked.

The old woman waved her hand, and her wrinkled old face showed a smile: "No need to Mr. Xie, I'll prepare food for you."

"By the way, I want to ask you something. If it is inconvenient, then forget it." Wang Yao called out to the old woman who turned slowly and said hesitantly, after all, what he was asking about was personal privacy.

"Please speak sir."

"Call me Wang Yao. I want to ask, you just called me Charlie... Who is he? Does he look very similar to me?"

"I thought the lady told you." The old woman looked at Wang Yao with turbid eyes, but Wang Yao felt that she was not looking at him.

"Charlie is the male owner here, the lady's husband... He is a seafood tycoon, but he never came back after going to sea three years ago. A few months later, we received compensation from the insurance company. You know that the insurance company is a group of vampires, and it means that... "

"Later, the young master met the lady. He did not dislike the lady's background and decided to marry her into the family. They were also very loving after marriage, and the only regret was that they had never had children."

"Young Master Charlie is a mixed-race British and Chinese. Just like you, she has a tall figure. I want to..."

"Auntie~"

Evelyn's shouts rang out from downstairs.

The old woman woke up from her memories and bent down slightly: "Sorry, the guest, let you listen to these trivial matters... The lady is calling me."

"You can do it first." Wang Yao said. After seeing off the old woman, he gently closed the door. Then he walked to the window that reflected himself, pulled up the curtains with a whistle.

No wonder Evelyn returned to chat with her in the bar, maybe she reminded her of her deceased husband.

His head turned with Wang Yao's figure until he disappeared into the corner. Evelyn sighed and turned around, and her brown eyes were in a daze as she looked at the crackling bonfire.

"Auntie~" she suddenly shouted for no reason.

More than ten seconds later, the familiar slow footsteps sounded from the steps. This footsteps accompanied me for more than ten years.

"Are you any instructions?"

"Go to... find hypnotics in the basement and put them in the guests' food." Evelyn's voice was very small, her body was still trembling slightly, and her heart was beating very hard.

"Okay Miss." Surprisingly, the old woman showed no surprise.

"You... don't you blame me?" Evelyn bit her lower lip, she didn't dare to see the old woman.
