Chapter 736 Creation (3)

Yu Weicai distributed the scientific research equipment, materials and other transported here to each laboratory in turn.

Currently, the number of permanent astronauts in Mendeleev City usually remains at around 40, and it is also the least of the major bases on the moon.

Most of the laboratories here tend to focus on theoretical research.

For example: the Yuan Tiangang Observatory on the back of the moon, the Dark Matter Detection Laboratory, the Neutrino Detection Laboratory, and the Gravitational Wave Detection Laboratory are all laboratories that tend to be theoretical.

Yuan Tiangang Observatory, the super-large astronomical telescope, has also undergone another upgrade and transformation.

Although the combined lenses are used, the area of this astronomical telescope is much higher than that of Hubble. In addition, the special environment on the back of the moon is very conducive to observing the wave frequency of the universe.

The head of the observatory is Huang Gexin and Jiang Zhubo, who had worked at the Purple Mountain Observatory before. They are very young, one is 33 years old and the other is 27 years old.

Yu Weicai drove a tow truck and handed over a batch of supplies prepared for the observatory to two people.

"Brother Huang, the things prepared by the Astronomical Bureau have arrived."

Huang GXin, who was busy checking the telescope data, raised his head and asked, "Is it the material used for lens upgrades?"

"Yes." Jiang Zhubo nodded.

"Let's go over and take a look!"

The two of them came to a simple warehouse. Since the standard cabins in Mendeleev were limited, many supplies were placed in the simple warehouse.

This kind of simple warehouse is very simple, it is to dig a large trench. The depth is generally about 10 meters and the width is about 20 meters. The length is set according to the terrain and needs.

After digging the trench, erect the foam silicon steel columns and skeletons, then add a layer of sand-retaining aluminum alloy plates, and add one to two layers of composite lead plates to enhance the overall resistance to radiation and electromagnetic interference.

Finally, compact the bottom of the ditch, lay a layer of aluminum alloy floor, and pile the excavated sand and soil onto the top of the warehouse.

As for the exit, it is a small slope.

This simple warehouse does not require Lanxing's spare parts, and can be independently built and completed by relying on foam silicon steel, aluminum alloy and composite lead plate produced by Guanghangong City.

Many materials that do not require special environments can be placed in this simple warehouse. After all, the moon will not rain, and there are few medium-sized earthquakes. This kind of warehouse can basically be used for a long time.

On the west side of the observatory is a simple warehouse dedicated to the observatory, with boxes of large and small piles.

According to the number, Huang Gexin and Jiang Zhubo quickly found something, a box half a person tall, about the same size as a seated refrigerator.

The two carried the box onto the electric pickup truck's truck's truck and returned to the observatory.

The Yuan Tiangang Observatory covers an area of not much, only about 1,200 square meters. On a small hillside, the building is not a standard cabin, but a pyramid-shaped five-story building.

The telescope is on the top of the building.

A large part of the space inside the observatory is underground, with a total of 15 cabins.

Jiang Zhubo took down the seven lenses of the astronomical telescope one by one and sent them to the TW-12 cabin, which is a small chemical work cabin.

In the chemical work compartment, Huang Gexin had already taken out the things sent from Blue Star from the box.

They are a vacuum electric field coating machine, a batch of raw materials for coating, and the use of vacuum electric field coating machines. They are all one-click operation fool-style programs, and there is no difficulty at all.

The expanded vacuum electric field coating machine can directly process mirror surfaces with a diameter of less than 3 meters.

"By wave by wave, give the mirror a complete cleaning."

"OK."

After more than three hours of careful cleaning, the seven lenses finally became spotless, and the first mirror was sent into a vacuum electric field coating machine.

Huang Gexin chose [Light Frequency Hypersensitizer-1] in the option of coating material, which is a material that is extremely sensitive to gamma rays, and then press the coating.

In the vacuum electric field coating machine, a layer of nano film with stable structures and orderly structures are quickly formed on the mirror surface.

However, the coating work did not stop, but continued, because there were more than one film needed to add it, but more than twenty.

This is mainly to improve the resolution and sensitivity of the telescope, so that the telescope can sense various light waves.

With these films added, the performance of this astronomical telescope will be greatly improved, allowing gamma rays, X-rays, ultraviolet, visible light and infrared rays to be observed.

And it is a very detailed distinction that can accurately judge the light waves in various frequency bands, which is very important for studying the universe.

Before upgrading, the telescope can accurately observe within 32 light years centered on the solar system.

The accurate observation here refers to the existence of stellar systems within this range and the larger planets inside the stellar systems.

You should know that even Hubble telescopes can only observe stars, and the situation inside the star system either requires specific conditions or can only be used to infer by theoretical calculations.

Generally speaking, specific observation conditions refer to the planets transiting, which are the planets in the star system that happen to appear in the middle of the parent star and observation point, and the obstruction phenomenon will occur at this time.

The specific torture is manifested as a black dot suddenly appears on the surface of the star, which indicates that there are planets in the star system.

However, this observation method itself requires a specific opportunity, and not all star systems are in a suitable position.

Although many star systems are disk-shaped, they are not on the same plane, and the universe is three-dimensional.

There are many limitations in the masking method, so there must be a further technology, that is, the optical wave high-sensitive resolution technology.

Previously, the telescope mirror of Yuan Tiangang Observatory used the light wave hypersensitive technology, which was the first generation of technology, with the maximum range of within 32 light years.

After this upgrade and transformation, the accurate observation range is estimated to be increased to around 200 to 210 light years.

The results of this observation data seem to have no use for now.

In fact, there are very important reference values for the stellar science of the solar system. After all, there are still many unsolved mysteries in our solar system itself.

For example, in the observation data before Yuan Tiangang Observatory, the existence of "dark stars" was proved.

The so-called dark stars, also known as wandering planets, refer to planets that are not captured by the star system, which float in the dark and silent interstellar dark zones.

Currently, within 32 light years of the solar system, there are as many as 18 dark stars that have been identified, including large and small, near and far.

The largest dark star is one-third of Jupiter's volume; the smallest one is about the same size as the moon.

The dark star closest to the solar system is in the interstellar dark zone 2.034 light years away.

This discovery fills some gaps in astronomy and also shows that there is not really nothing in the interstellar dark zone.

The existence of these dark stars will also interfere with the operation of surrounding star systems, and it is also a very dangerous existence.

If a dark star as big as a moon suddenly rushes into the solar system, it will cause significant changes to the original operating mechanism of the star system.
