Five hundred and forty-four. Bloody Stone

"His Majesty the Holy King of Egypt and Sultan, Nubia, Kordofan and the ruler of Darfur, the King of Mohammed Farouk arrives!"

With this sound, the audience applauded.

Muhammad Farouk I and his wife, Queen Farida, appeared before the guests.

Wang Weiyi also stood among the welcome crowd. He suddenly found that Queen Farida was looking at him, and there was a little sadness in his eyes.

About the two guards she sent had told the queen about what happened yesterday.

Farouk I was very considerate of the guests. His speech was very brief, and then he ordered the music to play, allowing himself and the guests to rejoin the carnival.

At this point, the Egyptian king performed quite well.

Farouk I greeted the important guests one by one, and he also stayed in front of Mr. Toxen, "Baron Andrew", enthusiastically invited the Baron to play cards again if he had the chance.

When he left, Wang Weiyi found that many guests were like him and quickly checked whether he had lost any valuables.

Weird, Farouk I is really a Weird in the post of King

Wang Weiyi didn't have much attention to the dance now. He was thinking about how to rescue Colonel Fells, who was crucial to Germany.

Colonel Fells had too much information in his hands. In another history, it was precisely because Colonel Fells was exposed and arrested that some deadly information from the German African Legion and the German senior executives fell into the hands of the Allied forces. Since then, the African Legion has been passively beaten everywhere in Africa.

Since Colonel Fells is still in Cairo, he must be rescued and even beat him to death if necessary.

While thinking about finding an opportunity to leave the dance, a maid suddenly came to Wang Weiyi: "Baron Andrew, His Majesty the Queen has something to discuss with you. Can you take some time?"

"Of course." Wang Weiyi knew why the queen was looking for him

He quietly left the dance party and followed the maid to a very hidden place in the palace.

It's really hidden. If someone hadn't deliberately led the way, I would never have thought that there would be such a place hidden here, and probably any palace would be like this.

"Mr. Baron, His Majesty is inside." After saying that, the maid hurriedly left the place

Wang Weiyi walked in and noticed that someone was lying in ambush nearby. He sneered in his heart. It should be the guards in the palace, right? These guys who stayed in the palace for many years would never know that a real soldier who came out of the rain of bullets was definitely not something they could deal with.

It's dark all around, which gives Wang Weiyi an excellent environment to cover

Two palace guards were nervously watching the man walking in. The target that the queen ordered must be killed.

Suddenly, they found that they had lost their target and were surprised. The left-hand guard's neck was suddenly stuck. Then they twisted it hard, and a slight "click" sound rang out, and the guard fell softly to the ground.

The guard on the right was shocked and hurriedly pulled out his pistol, but it was too late. A hand like a pliers stuck his throat, and then his other hand covered his mouth.

The guard struggled desperately, but he could not get rid of it anyway, and the movements in his body stopped.

Two more corpses were found on the ground

Wang Weiyi looked at the corpse and shook his head. Queen Farida looked as beautiful as Cleopatra, but her heart was similar to Cleopatra. She actually wanted to kill herself for a gem.

"There are four more people." Xiaoling's voice sounded in his ears.

Wang Weiyi nodded and quickly hid his body in the darkness again

In a few minutes, all the guards arranged by Queen Farida were killed. Wang Weiyi was not worried about whether this would expose himself.

Farouk I would not know that he would never have the courage to kill a British baron. Everything was arranged by Queen Farida in private.

After dealing with these killers neatly, Wang Weiyi saw that there was a house in the distance with lights on. He sorted out his clothes and walked towards it calmly.

He pushed open the door of the room, and the woman who had been waiting inside turned around: "Gem Take"

It is Queen Farida.

But she couldn't say anything below because she saw "Baron Andrew" standing in front of her.

"Ah, Mr. Baron, you are here." Queen Farida quickly recovered from calmness, as if nothing had happened.

"Yes, I'm here." Wang Weiyi said with a smile.

"No one came to inform me of those ignorant slaves." Queen Farida seemed very dissatisfied: "I'll let you pour some drinks for you."

This woman looks so beautiful and sexy, but why is her heart so? Wang Weiyi couldn't help but shake her head: "Queen, if you go to find those guards, don't look for them anymore, they are all dead."

Queen Farida was shocked

In order to regain the gem, she risked being deposed after being exposed and sent two groups of guards, but unexpectedly, they all failed.

And outside this room, there were six people who were killed by this "Baron Andrew"?

It's so scary, if that's true, it's so scary

"What are you talking about? I really can't understand." Queen Farida tried her best to keep her calm.

"Yes, you don't understand, but I think you understand better than anyone else." Wang Weiyi took out the necklace from his arms and shook it in front of him. The gem emitted a charming light: "This gem is valuable, but it is not at the cost of human life. There are already six people who died for this gem. How many more do you want to die, the queen?"

Looking at the shaking gem, Queen Farida wished she could pounce on her and snatch it back immediately, but she knew she was definitely not the opponent of the man in front of her. She took a deep breath: "Six people? Do you think only six people died on this gem? You are wrong. This gem carries sixteen years of war history, and 30,000 Egyptians died for it."

This gem? Wang Weiyi took the gem in confusion and took a look at it. Apart from the preciousness, Wang Weiyi did not think there was anything particularly magical about it.

"This is called the 'Kadie Stone', also called the 'Bloody Stone." Queen Farida said slowly: "It belonged to the pharaoh Ramses II of the 19th dynasty of ancient Egypt. It came from the Battle of 'Kadie Stone'"

The Battle of Kadishi was a battle between ancient Egyptian pharaohs and Hittite kings for dominance in Syria. In the 14th century BC, the Hittite powers that emerged in Asia Minor gradually advanced toward Syria southward, threatening Egypt's vested interests in this area. At the end of the 14th century BC, the pharaoh Ramses II of the nineteenth dynasty of Egypt mobilized our team, plus more than 20,000 foreign mercenaries such as the Nubians and Shardans, and 2,000 chariots, and marched into Syria with a large-scale advancement of the Hittite army's main bases and military fortresses in the area, Kadishi on the west bank of the upper reaches of the Orontes River.

The Hittite king Muvatalis assembled about 20,000 troops near Kadishi, including the Syrian Duke and Marquis, mercenaries from tribes of Asia Minor, and 2,500 tanks. In order to lure the Egyptian army into ambush, Muvatalis sent "escapers" to lie to the Egyptian army that the main force of the Hittite army was still a hundred miles away, and pretended to be weak in Kadishi's defenders.

Ramses II mistakenly thought it was true and personally led the lead troops across the river and reached south of Kadishi. As a result, they were surrounded by Hittite ambush troops. A follow-up unit was also attacked by Hittite troops and suffered heavy losses. The trapped Ramses II fought hard to resist, released the protective battle lion to "protect", and urgently ordered another follow-up unit to provide reinforcements. After the Egyptian reinforcements arrived, they attacked the opponent's wings in a strict combat formation.

The Hittite king also threw in infantry and combat chariots, rushed to the central Egyptian army, and ordered 800 defenders to attack and cooperate. The battle was very fierce. The two sides were evenly matched and there was no winner. The Hittite army retreated to the fortress, and Ramses II was also unable to capture the fortress and decided to return to Egypt.

In the next 16 years, the two sides continued to fight, but neither of them achieved decisive victory. Around 1280 BC, Ramses II concluded a peace treaty with Hittite king Hathusilis III to end the war.

It is generally believed that this is the earliest war peace treaty passed down from generation to generation. The peace treaty stipulates that Hitts and Egypt have the obligation to extradite each other's fugitives.

This battle is also one of the earliest battles recorded in ancient military history.

Wang Weiyi vaguely heard of the Battle of Kadishi, but he didn't remember it very clearly. At this time, when Queen Farida arrived, he felt the bloody war that lasted for 16 years.

"The war ended in no way, but 30,000 Egyptians died in this war." Queen Farida said in a daze: "On the night when she decided to withdraw her troops, it was said that Ramses II soaked a gem with the blood of every fallen soldier he had collected over the past sixteen years. This is the origin of the "Kadie Stone", the bloody stone. It is said that with it, one can have the power of 30,000 enemies. Of course, the seal of this gem must be untied."
