Six hundred and twenty-three. Attack the fortress

Heisenberg saw a Soviet soldier running out of a building, not a barracks, and he was aiming in the dark with a rifle in his hand. Heisenberg shot at him twice, and he fell to the ground.

"Good marksmanship, friend," said Edim, about ten feet away from Heisenberg. Heisenberg gave him a thumbs up and continued to search for the enemy.

In less than 10 minutes, gunfire from other places except for a barracks had subsided. The enemy in that building was finally attacked, so there was time to prepare.

Heisenberg saw a group of paratroopers on the top of the barracks. One of them was holding something that looked like a S24 long-handled grenade, and six grenade bodies were tied to it. He hugged and ran to the top of the door, threw the grenade in, and then he stood up and ran away quickly.

He did a great job. With a loud bang, all the windows burst out with green flames, and the walls made of metal plates were twisted. Heisenberg was sure that everyone in the room had been blown to death on the spot.

Heisenberg saw several Soviet soldiers walking out of another building with their hands raised, but they were immediately swept to the ground by a paratrooper. The commando received the order not to capture prisoners.

As several barracks were cleared, German paratroopers concentrated their efforts to deal with the main body of the fortress, where cannons and anti-aircraft guns were installed. For several hours, Edim and Heisenberg heard gunfires and grenade explosions from multiple passages of the fortress below. The commando continued to search the courtyard below until the paratroopers on the ground signaled that the enemy in the courtyard had been cleared.

"We should go down and help them attack together." Edim whispered.

Heisenberg shook his head, but he still climbed down with him. The commando two loaded new magazines into the MP40 submachine gun and carefully walked into a smoke-filled aisle behind the 220mm artillery turret. The turret had been blown up by the hollow charge of the paratroopers. The fierce battle continued downstairs, and the commando hurriedly joined the other paratroopers.

They finally got in touch with a large group of paratroopers, and the commando made gestures to indicate that the room under the hall was full of enemy soldiers.

Suddenly, a Soviet soldier threw a grenade from the corner. A paratrooper waved his MP40 like playing cricket and knocked the flying grenade back to the position where the Soviets were. The grenade flew over the air and exploded in the hall. The German paratrooper quickly took out a S24 grenade, pulled the fuse, and threw it into a room full of Soviet soldiers. As the grenade exploded, he rushed to the door, raised his submachine gun and swept it hard.

Another Soviet soldier suddenly appeared in a corner of the hall, holding a rifle in his hand. He shot a paratrooper in the chest. Heisenberg quickly raised his gun and shot, and the bullet hit his chest. Both soldiers fell down. A medical soldier from the commando quickly provided treatment for the paratroopers who were shot.

The commando came to a vast land where a bunker stood.

The bunker is not big, but it is made of reinforced concrete, which gives the people in the bunker full protection and can withstand various types of attacks.

Inside the bunker was a Russian machine gun team. They controlled heavy machine guns to fire violently at the commando, but did not hit the commando.

Heisenberg heard the sound of bullets hitting concrete walls and ground. The bullets roared in the air. The enemy's machine guns were so close to Heisenberg that they could even hear the sound of brass shells falling to the ground. The air was filled with gunfire, the whistling sound of bullets, explosions and screams. The silent fortress turned into a noisy battlefield in a blink of an eye. In addition to these sounds, Heisenberg could also feel the heat generated by the explosion and flamethrower. The smoke filled the gunpowder, and the situation could no longer be seen clearly 10 meters away.

Heisenberg ran to the wall with his waist, picked up his gun and fired. At the same time, another paratrooper threw a grenade at a Soviet shooter around the corner. Heisenberg shot the shooter in the face and fell down. Before the enemy's bomb supplyer could hide back to the corner, he was also hit by Heisenberg.

The grenade exploded, and a loud bang echoed between the concrete walls in the fortress.

The paratrooper who threw the grenade shouted: "Cover me!"

Heisenberg stood up and aimed at the enemy's machine gun nest. The paratrooper rushed forward quickly and threw a grenade into the enemy's bunker.

At this time, he heard the sound of a rifle shooting, and bullets flew out from a small perforation hole in a steel door at the back of the bunker.

Heisenberg shot at the perforator and called a paratrooper carrying a flamethrower. The firethrower rushed over quickly and spewed a tongue of flames at the perforator on the steel door. The commando heard the screams and the sound of flames burning in the house. Black smoke rushed out of the small perforator.

Another paratrooper installed a hollow charge on the steel door. The commando quickly scattered and the explosives exploded. Before the enemy in the house could react, Heisenberg rushed in. The house was full of Russian soldiers who were beaten to death or dying.

There was also a door at the end of the room, with a small shooting hole on it, which could open fire into the aisle. Heisenberg looked through the shooting hole and found several Soviet soldiers rushing towards the door. Heisenberg immediately put MP40 on the shooting hole and pulled the trigger at them. Heisenberg shot in a fully automatic manner, keeping the muzzle at the height of his chest, and turning the muzzle left and right.

Several Soviet soldiers were shot and fell to the ground, screaming in pain. The agile paratrooper who had hit the grenade like playing cricket opened the door and threw a grenade outside. He slammed the door and waited for the grenade to explode. Then, he signaled the others to follow and he opened the door and rushed out first.

The area leading to the aisle outside the door extends to the edge of the mountain. Heisenberg saw a Soviet soldier hiding around the corner, so Heisenberg quickly raised his gun to hit him in the chest. Heisenberg replaced Heisenberg with a new magazine for the MP40 submachine gun. Heisenberg began to like this weapon, which had a fast firing rate, light weight, and large magazine capacity, which was very suitable for this kind of action.

He quickly rushed to the next floor and saw a group of paratroopers blocked from a corner and could not move forward, which led to a large room. He quickly met with the paratroopers, and at this moment, a Soviet soldier threw a grenade at the commando from the corner.

The commando was scattered and then, with a loud bang, the grenade exploded. The agile paratrooper quietly ran over and pulled the fuse of the S24 grenade while running. He threw the grenade towards the corner, and picked up his MP40 submachine gun and prepared. After the grenade exploded, he pulled the trigger and swept the target. Then, he signaled the others to follow.

In the room next door, there were two round perforations facing the commando. Heisenberg was immediately shot, but fortunately, no one was hit.

"Give me a hollow charge," said the agile paratrooper, and he stretched out his hand and another paratrooper gave him one. He pulled the fuse and threw it at the corner. The hollow charge hit the iron door, making a metal collision sound, and then absorbed it on the iron door.

The explosion of hollow charges was very powerful, and the Soviet soldiers screamed. Heisenberg looked around the corner and saw that the iron gate had been blown open. The commando rushed in quickly and found that the defenders in the room had been killed.

At this moment, Heisenberg heard several explosions on the next floor, accompanied by gunfire. The floor where he was located had been cleared, so everyone walked down the stairs carefully. The commando saw two dead paratroopers lying down the stairs, with bullets hitting their bodies. There was an aisle in front of the stairs, but the passage had been blocked. The Russians used sandbags to form a waist-high protective wall and set up a heavy machine gun. Three Soviet soldiers fell to death behind the sandbags. Their bodies and walls on both sides were blackened by gunpowders, which was obviously the consequence of the grenade explosion.

Heisenberg saw several paratroopers raising their guns a little far away in the aisle, but he couldn't see what they were fighting. Heisenberg rushed up, and a paratrooper signaled him to wait. One of the commando team threw a grenade in the direction of the enemy, and everyone immediately retracted back behind the wall to avoid the explosion's shock wave. The grenade exploded, and at this moment, an oval grenade was thrown from the opposite direction, landing in the commando team. Everyone immediately concealed, but several comrades were still injured by the bomb.

"You two protect me." said the agile paratrooper who had killed several Soviet soldiers before.

He took a long-handled grenade from the belt and unscrewed the lid. He hooked the fuse, but it didn't sound, and then, squatted down and ran forward with his waist. At this time, Edim and Heisenberg provided cover with fire from above his head.

Suddenly, a Soviet soldier poked his head out from a corner from a distance, holding a pistol in his hand. Edim's gun fired, and a bullet hole appeared on the forehead of the Soviet soldier. Edim's aim and firing were completed in a few seconds, which was amazing. The killed Soviet soldier fell to the ground, and Heisenberg could only see his right arm and head, and other parts of his body were on the other side of the corner.

In the direction where the Soviet soldiers were protruding their heads, the agile paratrooper continued to touch forward and soon arrived at the door. Heisenberg aimed at the position where Edim hit the Soviet soldiers with his gun, and Edim also aimed carefully.

Another Soviet soldier leaned out from the corner, and he also held a pistol. Two bullets immediately hit him in the face, and the soldier threw the pistol and fell down. He screamed in shock and retracted into the room.

The agile paratrooper pulled the fuse, held the grenade and waited for two seconds before throwing it around the corner. The grenade exploded, and many painful screams came from the room.

A paratrooper carrying a flamethrower rushed to the door. He did not stick his head to see what was going on in the room, and directly pulled the firewielder's trigger into the room. The firewielder spit out a pillar of fire, drew a big arc, and rushed into the room. Several bullets shot into the wall next to his head, but he was not hit. A miserable scream broke out in the room, and the firewielder quickly retreated behind Edim and Heisenberg. The black smoke in the room spread along the ceiling to the aisle.

"This must be another barracks!" Edim said loudly: "There are still people living inside!" (To be continued. Please search for Piaotianwen, the novel is better, updated and faster!)
