Seven hundred and sixty-eight.(1/2)

"Ahhh! All the Americans were driven away, haha, why are you here now?" Sergeant Starob jumped up.

Sergeant Southerka ran over with two soldiers, and they helped Thomas up.

"Two guys, doing pretty good things.

You are the pride of Germany,” Sergeant Starob said.

"Okay, OK, hurry up and cheer up and continue to charge." Sergeant Southerka said.

They charged forward and soon arrived at the entrance of the town. The soldiers stopped moving forward and began to rest. Sergeant Southerka led them into the white house, with no one inside. There was only a table in the basement with some leftover wine and food. It seemed that this was the restaurant of the lower-level American officers.

Gatel walked to the table, tore a piece of bread, and handed it to Thomas. Another piece was torn and stuffed it into his mouth.

"Damn Americans, the food is pretty good." Gatel felt relieved.

Southerka looked at the half bottle of whiskey on the table and poured it into a cup to take a sip: "It tastes pretty good, but it's not as good as German Munich."

The sergeant who had bet with Southatka also came to the white house with a few soldiers. When he saw Gatel and the others, he laughed: "Brother Southatka, you win. It seems that today's wine should be mine."

After saying that, he took out a bottle of beer from his waist.

"Haha, I still like beer." Southka took the bottle of wine without hesitation.

Captain Jurne also came to the White House: "You can make it easy for me to find, I thought you were done. Yes, Germany is proud of you. We can rest now."

Colonel Fansten outside shouted: "Get together, gather together."

After the soldiers gathered, Colonel Fansten smiled and said, "Today is the most difficult day. Let's have a good rest and continue to attack the Americans tomorrow until Marshal Manstein ordered the attack to stop."

The soldiers cheered in unison, glad that they had survived and for this victory.

The sound of cannons in the distance suddenly felt a sense of ominous premonition in his heart.

As night fell, the German soldiers had been struggling for a day and fell asleep. Only Colonel Fansten and several staff officers were still fighting at night in a house.

"Col. Fansten, you didn't find that the current form is not good for us." A staff officer pointed to the combat map and said: "The US military has broken through our left and right wings and will soon be invaded the city."

"Who defends the left and right wings?"

"It's the original regiment of Colonel Shubin."

"Damn it, it's the tacit understanding between Shu Bin and me. Since he was beaten to death by the damn Americans..." Colonel Fan Sten said while sighing.

"Col. I think we should give up this town and retreat to the city, otherwise the US military will eat us all." said another staff officer.

"The infantry regiment in Nesco should not have enough strength to attack."

"Col. Fansten, I heard that the German army will send a main armored force to reinforce him, and he will also have sufficient air support."

At this time, a soldier came in at the door holding a telegram: "Col. The general asked us to continue to hold on. There will be 500 reinforcements here tomorrow..."

Although Colonel Fan Sten was brave and good at fighting, he also fully knew his strength. He knew that if he persisted, he would only wipe out the entire army. But he had no choice but to bite the bullet and continue to stick to it. He waved his hand and said, "Go back."

US Military Command.

Colonel Nesco still asked the officer behind him with his sinister smile: "Are we all arrived on the four regiments on the left and right wings?"

"Yes, sir. Those Germans will be wiped out tomorrow."

The next day, at 5 a.m.

"Boom--"

"Ah... soldiers... get up quickly. The US army attacked us... ah!" As soon as a lieutenant woke Gatel and the others up, his head was pierced by a shrapnel.

"Damn Americans, I'm so fucking unintentional." Southerka cursed and cried.

The "Ghost" style dived down with a harsh whistling sound, dropping the bomb accurately on the German tanks.

Gatel just woke up from his sleep and was shocked by the bomb. Sergeant Stroub shouted to him: "Gatel, pick up the gun and prepare for battle!"

Gatel could finally see something. He saw Major Ruberf being blown out and dragged away by his subordinates. A soldier with his legs blown off fell in front of him, screaming so hard that he was furious.

The US military launched a charge desperately. The German army at the entrance of the town was shot into a sieve by machine guns.

Captain Jurney hid behind the iron barrel and shouted to the soldiers behind him: "Soldiers, we must launch a counterattack now, otherwise we will die! Let's follow me! Fight!"

The soldiers rushed out of the building.

The US troops around him rushed in like a tide. Thomas shot to kill one of the US troops who rushed over, and another US troops suddenly rushed over and waved the stock at Thomas, smashing him unconscious.

Seeing this, Gatel shouted, "Bastard", and then used a bayonet to push the butt away. However, Gatel was less powerful than the US military. The soldier staggered Gatel with one kick, then pulled out the engineer shovel and slapped Gatel on the back. Gatel fell to the ground. Two other German soldiers rushed over and inserted the bayonet into the chest of the US military. The US military vomited blood and died. Another soldier of the US military was always by her side because she was afraid of killing her own people.

When he fired the gun, he saw that his own people had died, he pulled the trigger and a series of bullets knocked the two German soldiers to blood.

Seeing that two more comrades were killed, Gatel lay on the ground and shot the US military in the head.

Thomas woke up, he got up and shot a US military force who had turned from the intersection.

"Thomas, Gatel! There is a US M1 tank that is slaughtering our brothers, and we should destroy it immediately." Sergeant Southerka ran over with five soldiers.

At the intersection, an M1 tank drove over and smashed the German machine gun in the attic with one shot.

“Go around behind it!”

Gatel was replacing his submachine gun with bullets from the German corpse.

Gatel and his team followed the road to the corner, where there was a German lieutenant and six soldiers.

"Secretary, why didn't you blow up that tank?" Southerka rushed over and asked loudly.

"Sergeant, do you think we are doing a machine gun, we can't get through!" The lieutenant said, and suddenly he saw the machine gun that had just been seized in Gatel's hand.

"Sergeant, don't you have a machine gun there? Just kill the enemy's machine gun. This is the order."

"Yes, Lieutenant! Gatel, you'll hide behind the broken box there, and cover us with your weapons."

Gatel took his machine gun and rolled forward behind the broken box. He used a submachine gun to shoot the two machine guns at the machine gun blocking the intersection and fell to the ground.

The lieutenant ordered loudly: "Come on me!"

The soldiers rushed over and the American machine guns that arrived behind the tank were killed.

The lieutenant took out an iron rod: "Look at how I used it to pry open the turret cap of the tank."

At this time, the tower cover was opened and a tank crew member emerged from inside. As soon as he raised his gun, a soldier quickly shot him and shot him with a shot. The tank crew member rolled down from the tank. The rest of the tank crew members hid inside and dared not show their heads.

The lieutenant said happily: "We don't have to work hard now."

After saying that, he pulled out a earthen molten bottle from a soldier and lit it with a lighter.

He turned over and rushed into the tank and threw the moor bottle in. He saw a group of fire rising up and the crew members in the tank jumped out of fire, and the Germans fired them one by one.

"It's really retribution." The soldiers said so. They didn't notice that the occupant who was knocked to the ground was still moving slowly. Suddenly the occupant took out a pistol and pulled the trigger at the lieutenant. The lieutenant screamed and fell into a pool of blood.

Sergeant Southerka rushed over and shot the abominable crew member.

"Second Lieutenant!" The soldiers surrounded him. One soldier said, "It's really abominable. The lieutenant is only 26 years old..."

The soldiers were so sad, and one of them was watching whether he died. He didn't notice that several more American troops rushed over behind them.

The soldiers heard the sound of bullets passing through the air. In the blink of an eye, several soldiers fell to the ground, and blood splattered everywhere. The US machine guns fired hard.

"Oh my God!" Gatel shouted, and several US troops rushed over in front of them.

At this time, a truck drove over and the US troops were knocked away. The driver was Sergeant Starob. Sergeant Starob shouted in the car: "You guys make it easy for me to find. The superiors have ordered a breakout and break out of the US military's encirclement."

"Get on the car!" The soldiers rolled over the car, and one of them was beaten to death when they got on the car.

"Haha! You can finally leave this ghost place!" The car was speeding, and the US military blocked the road. They were either shot dead by bullets shot from the car or knocked away. At this time, a tank drove from an alley entrance, and the soldiers shouted that they were unlucky. But they finally told the fortune, and a "Leopard Yin" type destroyed the tank. They had already caught up with the retreating troops.

"Where are we going?" Gatel, who was sitting in the car, asked Sergeant Starob.

"I don't know, Colonel Fansten said we are going to retreat to the city."

"Where are reinforcements?" Thomas asked.

"I saw God on the way." Southerka looked unhappy. After all, the German army was still defeated, and so many outstanding German soldiers fell on this battlefield.

Colonel Fan Sten was also surprised. He didn't know why his superiors suddenly ordered a retreat, but no matter what, the troops were finally saved. It was a blessing that he had not wiped out the entire army.

Gatel took the time to write a letter to his family:

"I have been in the army for three months, but the war has deteriorated. The US military is surrounding us, which has not been seen in the German troops in the past. This is really sad. We have suffered heavy losses, but my brothers, Thomas, Sergeant Schoestka and Sergeant Starob, have been lucky enough to survive. We retreated and learned that our retreat order was ordered by Major General Danov. He was quickly dismissed, but we were not driven back to the hell-like town—the city needs people to defend. It's great that the US military has not launched the largest attack yet. But I already had a premonition that this is a matter of time. Most of the outer defense lines are struggling to hold on, and we don't even know if there are reinforcements...

I really hope that the war will end soon, that I can reunite with you. Over the past few months, I have been lucky and always survived. I just hope that my luck will last. I don’t want this to be the last letter to you.

Good wishes.

Alex.

Gatel

September 1, 1965.

"German officers and soldiers, surrender! This is not your war, this war will only kill you for nothing. Join you. You will receive more favorable treatment. The Allies will treat the soldiers well forever. You should stand up and resist..."

"Fart." Colonel Fan Sten was so angry that he cursed after listening to the US military's radio.

"Col. The enemy is almost eating us! Our defense line is about to be...." An officer was bombed to Naihe Bridge by shells as soon as he ran into the house.

Colonel Fan Sten smoked without saying a word.
