Chapter 147: Her Avenue(1/2)

Most of the great monks will set up barriers in advance when fighting to avoid hurting innocent people or being seen by the people, and affecting the order of the mortal world.

The cool night breeze swept across the roof, leaned down from the tiles, brushed past Li Ye's clothes and feet, and slipped away from the courtyard gate. The branches of the leaves rustled, and even more sounds came from a distance. In addition to the governor's mansion, this ancient city was still marching on its original track tonight.

There were no one who died particularly many people this night, but the bloodiness was not inferior, just because everyone died enough and they died cruelly.

There was a lot of chill in the yard.

The smell of blood came to his nose, which made Li Ye frown.

He glanced at Li Keyong who was lying on the bluestone floor, and suddenly felt distracted. He stood up, rolled up his sleeves and left this absurd place.

Perhaps, Li Cunxiao is destined to die at Li Keyong's hands.

In the time and space without Li Ye coming out of nowhere, Li Cunxiao was finally ordered to behead by Li Keyong because of Li Keyong's suspicion and the jealousy of the generals. Li Keyong regretted it afterwards, but what else is the use? A good general died and the Great Wall collapsed. In the end, Li Keyong was unable to unify the north for his whole life, let alone defeating Zhu Wen and entering the Central Plains.

Li Keyong, the King of Jin who was extremely likely to achieve great achievements, was only King of Jin until his death, and only owned the Three Jins and the surrounding areas.

Now that Li Keyong and Li Cunxiao both die, Li Ye's purpose of going north is to achieve his goal. In ten days, the official army will arrive in Dai, Shuo, Wei and other states. I believe there will be no war at all, even if Li Keyong has gathered many defeated soldiers.

After several months, Hedong was pacified, or included in Li Ye's jurisdiction, the war was over soon. The next focus was on the political affairs of governing prefectures and counties and resting with the people.

Compared with the five prefectures of Pinglu, the 11 prefectures of Hedong are undoubtedly wider and more populous. As long as they are properly managed, Li Ye can absorb the luck of the people. In theory, it is not a problem to break through the immortal realm.

However, the Taoist Immortal Court ruled Jiuzhou and wanted to ascend to become an immortal here and be ranked in the Immortal Class. Otherwise, it would only be recognized by the Immortal Court. In other words, the spiritual energy in the Qi Sea could only reach the peak of the Yangshen Realm, and more spiritual energy would only overflow.

This is common sense.

For Li Ye, once the luck absorbed is saturated, no matter how much luck you have, it will not be able to absorb, and it will not be able to break through the barrier and enter the earthly fairyland.

If the cultivation level is only in the realm of Yangshen True Man, if the immortal court sends a real powerful person down to the realm, Li Ye will have to wait for death.

But Li Ye did not feel pessimistic. This was just an ordinary situation after all. There must be a road before the car arrived at the mountain. What he had to do now was to digest the land of Hedong as soon as possible.

The scroll of Tianji between the eyebrows was slightly moved. Li Ye concentrated on his mind for a moment, but he didn't really find anything. The scroll, or the scroll, was still in a closed state and had no intention of unfolding.

After obtaining the Hedong land, Li Ye also took over the responsibility of the Hedong army. The so-called Dai northern border, that is, the land north of Daizhou, is a border, bordering the grassland, and is now bounded by the Great Wall.

Once the grassland troops invade south, cross the Great Wall, Shuozhou to the west, Yunzhou to the north, and Weizhou to the east, are the border defense fronts, and are the first line of defense for the Tang Dynasty to defend the grassland troops.

Li Ye now has the important task of border defense, and the opponent who defended him, as the Khitan captured the territory of the Tatar tribe, changed from the Tatar tribe to the Khitan. He had just met Yelu Abaoji, and although the opponent seemed to have escaped with shamelessness, Li Ye was not feeling relaxed.

He knew what potential Yelu Abaoji had.

After leaving Daizhou, Li Ye went straight north and arrived at the border of the Great Wall.

The sky was not awake, the night was not yet dark, the mottled walls were weathered and frost, and they were still dedicated to guarding the frontiers for the Tang Dynasty. Li Ye looked north from the ancient Great Wall.

During the Zhenguan period, the Tang Dynasty's civil and military achievements were prosperous. Emperor Taizong once said that the ancients relied on the construction of the Great Wall by guarding the border, but our Tang Dynasty did not build the Great Wall, but only trained elite soldiers. The Great Wall could not truly resist the invasion of grassland soldiers, and the elite soldiers of the Tang Dynasty could.

The Hedong Army had 300,000 yuan, which was basically lost, but this so-called loss was for Li Keyong. The official army captured a lot of prisoners, and the number of troops from Dai, Shuo, Yun, Wei and other states would be large. Li Ye only needed to recruit young and strong men to gather an elite Hedong Army of 100,000 yuan in a short period of time.

The Hedong Army is brave and good at fighting. The elite troops are not comparable to ordinary vassal states. This can be seen from the Zhaoyi Army's attitude towards the Hedong Army.

They will be Li Ye's strong support for guarding the border and going south to compete for the Central Plains.

Li Ye stroked the cold and hard stone wall with his hands, his eyes passing through the twilight under the starry sea, and looked to the north from afar.

He needs to consider two issues now.

First, most of the civil affairs affairs of Pinglu were chaired by Cui Keli, and most of the officials promoted were the Choi family Junyan. Now Zhu Wen sent troops to Pinglu, and Cui Keli was unknown to us. Can the Cui family officials brought by Li Ye still be used?

Second, after conquering Hedong, should other northern vassal states take the opportunity to subdue?

If they are not subdued, there will be some powerful vassal states around Hedong, such as Zhenwu and Youzhou, which cannot be underestimated. If the official army returns to Pinglu, once Taoist sect, Confucian military sect, and military sects have any unpredictable actions, these vassal states will be their chance to stir up the situation, and they may even join forces to attack Hedong.

Li Ye quickly sorted out the answers to these two questions.

First of all, let Li Zhen preside over the Hedong Civil Affairs. The other party's confidant officials were all old people from the An Prince's Mansion, and loyalty was not a problem. Although the eleven prefectures in Hedong seemed to be insufficient, with Li Zhen's talent, it should be less of a problem to rationally use local officials in Hedong.

Secondly, the Pinglu army returned to Pinglu first. After all, it was the foundation of Li Ye. The families of the Pinglu army soldiers were all there. If they were not saved by death, the morale of the army would inevitably be unstable. At the same time, Li Ye also needed to curb Zhu Wen.

......

During the period when Li Ye handled the finale of Hedong and was preparing to return to Pinglu, the situation in the world changed drastically, and the Immortal Realm was also not calm.

Buddha Domain, Leiyin Temple Theory of Zen Hall.

The hall is majestic and majestic. The tall foundation brings the hall into the sky. There are thousands of stone steps in front of the hall. When you look down, you can't see the end. At the extreme point of view, only golden light fills the sky.

Master Feihong, dressed in white, stood in front of the stone steps, his face calm and peaceful. If there was no trace of dusty and tiredness between his eyebrows, it would be exactly the same as usual.

Beside her, a great monk wearing a purple gold robe stood, with a wide face and a compassionate face and a majesty. It was Manjushri.

Manjushri looked at the Chan Hall, and his eyes were filled with emotion. He said to Master Feihong: "The Holy Buddha took action personally and spent the unexplained resources of the Buddha Domain to allow you to return from the mortal world safely. You gain nothing in this trip, and the Eighteen Arhats were even more damaged. Although the Holy Buddha did not show anything, he would definitely not be in a good mood. You should be careful after going up."

Compared with Manjushri's kind eyebrows and the majesty aura emitted invisibly, Master Feihong looks as pure as a green leaf.

She didn't say anything.

Manjushri said again: "Although things in the world are determined, the great way is profound and unfathomable, and all sentient beings are equal before him, perhaps all causes and effects have long been destined. But we monks, who seized the creation of heaven and earth, became immortals. If we cannot fight for everything and cannot fight for it, what reason can we stand here?"

Seeing that Master Feihong's eyes were not squinting and his expression did not change at all, and he didn't know whether he was listening to him or not, Wen Shu couldn't help but shake his head: "Go. No matter what the Holy Buddha said, remember not to refute it, and admit his mistakes sincerely."

Master Feihong finally reacted, she nodded and climbed up the stairs.

The Temple of Chanting Zen is a holy place in the Buddha's realm and is also the place where the holy Buddha preaches.

This Taoist Master Feihong has walked countless times before, but obviously he has never had the same state of mind as at this time. As a great monk who recommended himself, the lower realm who is planning major events for the Buddha Domain is also one of the four great Bodhisattvas of the Buddha Domain. He returned home after failure and was nervous.

But Master Feihong may have many emotions in his heart, but he only has no such thoughts.

The hall is enough to accommodate ten thousand people, but at this moment it is empty and only at the end of the field of view, a monk sat on a nine-foot Buddha altar wearing a golden cassock. Although he is only seven feet tall, he gives the feeling of being ten thousand feet long and full of oppression.

That is the Holy Buddha.

Master Feihong saluted in the hall.

The Holy Buddha did not speak immediately. He glanced at Master Feihong. His eyes, which were not very strange in shape, had the ability to see through all illusions.

After waiting for a long time, the Holy Buddha spoke slowly, his voice was not clear about his joys and anger: "I originally thought that even if this plan failed, you should gain something, and your mind should improve your cultivation. Now it seems that you have not only missed a big deal, but also got a lot of filth, and even the Buddha's heart was damaged!"

During the journey to the secret realm, Master Feihong gained a lot, realized the truth more deeply, and improved his strength, but when he reached the eyes of the holy Buddha, all of them seemed to disappear. What he saw was the so-called Master Feihong's heart was damaged.

Perhaps, for the Holy Buddha, this is the most important thing.

Master Feihong did not speak or refute, but just stood there quietly.

The Holy Buddha was displeased and said with a deep eyebrows: "You have nothing to say? If you don't want to say it, I can say it for you. I will ask you, what does the person who enters your heart and damages your Buddha's heart mean to you? If you don't say it, I will help you remove him from your heart, so that you will never think of this person again!"

Master Feihong finally looked up and looked at the Holy Buddha.

Her eyes were still quiet, but a smile spread across the corners of her lips, as if she was remembering the best thing.

She said, "If the Holy Buddha wants to ask him what he means to his disciples, the disciple can say to the Holy Buddha: To the disciple, he is like a dream, lingering and out of reach."

When she said this, the smile became stronger and stronger, but there was a sadness flowing in her eyes. This made her look very desolate, like a child wiping tears alone at the home she could not return to.

The difference between immortals and mortals is certainly a barrier, but this is nothing to Master Feihong. Only the heavy pressure of the Buddha Realm is a natural barrier that she cannot overcome. So even if the man always brows, sinks into his heart and cannot linger, he is just like a dream, destined to be out of reach.

The holy Buddha is angry.

He naturally understood what Master Feihong said, so his anger was so great that he didn't want to hide it. He scolded sternly: "You want to abandon my Buddha's great cause for this mortal? All the world is suffering, and all the people are suffering. So many sufferings are waiting for you to soothe you, but you actually influenced the Buddha's heart for a mortal? Are you still Master Feihong who has attained the Bodhisattva's fruit?!"

Faced with such righteous scolding, Master Feihong just smiled.

She did not avoid the angry eyes of the Holy Buddha and said peacefully: "The so-called great cause of the Buddha Domain is not to relieve the sufferings of the people, but to spread the Dharma all over the world and carry it forward so that she can receive more believers and gain more incense, money and faith power, so as to expand the power of the Shimen. After all, this is just for the benefit of one school, and it is no different from the Taoist immortal court."

"Stop your mouth!" The Holy Buddha was furious.

But Master Feihong did not stop.

Not only that, her eyes became brighter and brighter, "The only emperors on earth can truly relieve the sufferings of the people. Throughout history, how many things have the monks of the Shimen done, how many roads have been repaired, how many bridges have been repaired? How many diseases have been cured and how many people have been saved? Is Shimen only responsible for persuading people to accumulate virtue and benevolence, but she is out of the matter? Even if Shimen does some good deeds, how can he compare to the emperor's edict to persuade farmers and trivial matters and abolish the harsh taxes? A wise king is in love with the people, and benevolent and governing is what really benefits the people of the world. And they and their officials have been doing such things all their lives!"

The Holy Buddha said coldly: "Who told you this?"

Master Feihong seemed to recall something, and the smile on the corner of his lips was like the spring sun that melted ice and snow. "There is a man who is the prince of the dynasty, but he can continue to work for forty years. He was not deliberately cultivating his mind, so that he could make great progress in his cultivation. He was just doing this simply."

"The person who can do these is a person who truly understands the sufferings of the people and is willing to work hard for them. My disciples have visited the Five Prefectures of Pinglu, where there are few sufferings. Every house is well aware of etiquette, and the lights of thousands of families shine on the world warmly, and they are happy. If the purpose of the Buddhist Domain Shu Sect really ends the sufferings of the world, why should the people seek a vain next life? Helping such people rule the world, the people will have countless blessings in this life. And the next life is the same."

The Holy Buddha has calmed down.

Of course he had to calm down because he realized that he had encountered a challenge, a challenge that he had to be calm in order to overcome.

He asked coldly: "So it's not that your Buddha's heart is greatly damaged, but that your Buddha's heart is no longer there! Do you want to rely on that mortal with the resources of an immortal and provide him with the help of him?"

As expected by the Holy Buddha, Master Feihong did not nod, but clasped his hands together and said piously: "The great way is three thousand, and the different paths are the same. As a member of the Buddhist sect, if Feihong abandons persisting for thousands of years and insists on his pursuit, wouldn't he be obsessed with him? Feihong wishes to be in our sect, preaching and giving, so that his disciples will all follow the great way and sincerely resolve the sufferings of the people."

The Holy Buddha sneered, his eyes full of disdain: "You want to sit in my seat?"

Master Feihong was still pious: "If you are looking at the great way, why should you care about your own position? You can look at the great way in any position."

The calm heart of the Holy Buddha was turbulent again, not only that, his facial features were twisted.

Master Feihong scolded him very much: she didn't care about her position, but the first issue he considered was that the other party wanted to take his position.

Which of the two is higher and lower, it is clear at a glance.

The Holy Buddha took a deep breath and felt that he could no longer continue to discuss with Master Feihong. He sternly said: "You have gained nothing in the next world, but instead you have lost your soldiers and generals in the Buddha's realm, and your sins are irrefutable. From today on, you will be punished to be closed to the confinement room and be unable to leave the door. There are only a Buddha statue, a green lamp, and a volume of Buddhist scriptures in the room. I want you to regret it and repent your sins!"

Master Feihong clasped his hands together again.

The words she said had a profound meaning, beyond the expectations of the Holy Buddha: "If this body has deep feelings, why should I be afraid of the ancient Buddha accompanying the green lamp?"

The Holy Buddha was stunned.
